Without the access to the political connections or resources neccessary to fight in the shadow war, we can turn our unseemly, desperate hunger into pure will to power. If you want to indulge your sweet tooth, you'd better grow strong, Erii! The only way you're getting that C A K E is if you paint the town red with the blood of your enemies. And Force gives us the ability to live until we reach that point. Hopefully, we can bribe him with an extra booze stipend to train us, assuming he's got the skills.

[X] Feat: Shameless

Feats still remain cool!

Edit: Also rip Arisen Blood  So close in Arete yet so far in votes...

2nd Edit: Flip flop

Whoops defecting from the safe path of Fomenting Rebellion. I'm in a hot-blooded mood all of a sudden, and also slightly worried about the Immortals having time to gather up.

Cut friends, yes! Rally! Sally forth and take back the Ring from our wretched foes!

Everyone who switches to the Cut faction in the next fifteen(15) minutes will receive a FREE complimentary Accursed plushie.

That is all, thank you.

You fools, It's too late for Cut! All you've done is guarantee the loss of Rank! For something we can grab whenever, no less. martial power is only a facet of a successful insurrection; rank enhances all parts! Don't waver now!

One more to the Cut club, one more plushie to the plushie gods.

Who else will Cut Through to our side? to the S.O.R.D side!

The vote is closing soon, so any votes should be done now! Stats is something we can get anywhere, rank is much more limited. So vote Rank for a more efficient build vote.

Well, looks like Foment Rebellion is the winner, which is fine I was on that originally anyway.

Now, Incarnate only has a three vote lead over shameless, so it may come down to Omake and Argument power for that one.

I am sad that you don`t see the bigger picture. Your reasoning was solid but you missed one important part. Look closely at the name of the Feat that gives +Rank.

Meaning someone that is without shame or could not be ashamed.

Two updates ago we had one of the most contested vote in the thread - Ring vs ADS vs Gisena EFB. The Gisena EFB gang( I know you are part of them but don`t worry, everybody has flaws) lost but they have been plotting how to get their revenge. Microwave Gisena carry motivated them, but they saw the Feat name and despaired.

A shameless Hunger is someone who cannot be teased. This is unacceptable to the hidden masters of the Gisena EFB gang. The arguments for Vigor were just a farce with the intention of denying the acquisition of said Feat. The truth is, the vote was rigged from the start.

I think the biggest advantage of rebellion is give us more time to face down with group of Immortal.

But we need to do it before apocryphal curse active and bring all of them on us.

Yeah we don't want an analogue to that fight from FFXIV I linked earlier. Or the Four Kings fight from Dark Souls 1, or an even worse version of the Deacons of the Deep fight from Dark Souls 3.

Oh contraire, mi something else in French. A shameless Hunger is one who could tease Gisena! It's the ultimate Gisena Gang option.

But CAKE is a Lesser Game in itself! It is a resource for the shadow war!
Force is kinda specifically out of practice, since he's retired. He's only going back to work because he ran out of booze money. He does have experience and acquaintances, but a lot of them died since old. So he won't really be great at teaching swording or combat as a practical skill, but as a theoretical skill, he's a bounty of experience. Also, curious, why not pick a Street Gang on top of Force?
Incidentally, it is possible to double-up on Knightless picks, such as 2x Admin or whatever. Military Knightless kind of overlap with Drach a bit, so the marginal benefit isn't so great there.
Admittedly, Erii should have picked Incandescence if she wanted to play the Great Game, so I do suppose intrigue focused picks are less optimal than otherwise. Similarly, Searing would also have had long-term potential, since once the spirit expanded out that's free eavesdropping, while Liberator lacks real utility in this area. In the more public side of politic, Searing would have been best due to presence and active Rank, while some secrets would necessarily be revealed with Incandescence and reduce its strengths. Liberator, again, sucks at utility for now. Modification of Soul Evocations is a massive bargaining chip, though.

Update in ~30.

What was the nature of the potential allies Hunger encountered? Choose one. The options unchosen may not exist in-universe.

[ ] The Silver Horde - Those who near the end of their allotted span are placed under heavy surveillance, their ability to organize gradually curtailed and denied the light of the Ring. This greatly-suppressed band of malcontents-by-necessity has found each other in the chaos and would like nothing more than to overthrow the regime that mandates their death. Their motives are purely (enlightened... ?) self-interest, but they will fight ardently all the same, for their very lives are literally at stake.

Combat Strength: Modest. Denied the light for some years, their powers are on the wane.

Cost: 0 picks. Hunger did not have to waste any time picking up this force. They found him and volunteered.

*You get what you pay for. Literal geriatrics are only relevant due to their Soul Evocations.
*They can maybe distract one or two Immortals temporarily.
*Modest knowledge of the Inner Ring.

Huh, confirmation that their Soul Evocations really do fade away absent the Ring's light... talk about a single point of failure!
