TBH, Dog of War probably could solve the Terminator problem rn, simply by being fast enough. With That Much rank and Speed, running around and looking for Terminator "on foot" becomes a viable proposition.
Counting on Cursebearer grade-threat not being immune to Divination is kind of dangerous, tbh.We may not have to manually search. We could always try the summon we called to get info on Augustine. If the terminator is weak enough we could probably just go straight to his location and kill him.
True but it wouldn't kill us to try. Hunger said so himself this update when he was trying to get back the platinum. If it doesn't work we lose a bit of time and Arete. If it does a serious problem is dealt with quickly.Counting on Cursebearer grade-threat not being immune to Divination is kind of dangerous, tbh.
Testing to see if the Terminator has divination-resistance by having Gisena truth-seek with her ring first, before spending 7 arete on it, would probably be smart.
Invest in Blood Advancements and the power of the ring. Have voted for Ambrosial Tinge an update or two ago. It's a good thing we got Honing. It would have been even better if we had gotten Exalted Spirit too.By the way is there anything we can do for Verch and his decimation? After all the effort we've put into Hunger not taking away the life force of everything around him I'm not too keen on letting unmitigated decimation run loose.
Oh yeah. If we pick up Dog of War, it should be ~trivial for us to slay Rank 10 Astral Sovereigns to feed Versch.
That's how he did before we showed up, IIRC? I don't have a quote on that, though, if only because I'm lazy.Have we gotten confirmation that Versch is actually even able to sate his decimation like we are?
Adding literally any of these Armament options on top of that makes it even funnier, I think. But, I think that Dog has the purest taste of Sheer Escalation. In Nilfel, our elite are like your Armaments, and our Armament is even more Armament-y than yours!Getting Companions is gonna be kinda hilarious in story. Not long after Letrizia gives that exposition dump about how Armaments are strategically important beyond their combat strength, Hunger decides to randomly just make his entire party capable of fulfilling those functions, seemingly pulling that power right out of his ass.

Versch can mitigate its Decimation by eating worthy opponents, so it's not on all the time. Else everyone stationed around her would protest!
