A Shining Beacon in a World of Shade

You'd be surprised how much Slice of Life I'll squeeze out of your characters. At the end of the day their people.
I'll join the chorus. Jan likes to sing folk songs from either Russia or Poland when he is alone. He is a decent singer but is not at all confident at singing in front of people. The times of day he usually sings is early in the morning and in the evening. Though he hums the songs during the day if he gets stressed.

Would I be meeting more moraly reprehensible npcs due to me being in the Soviet Union?
The Most Sucessful Underground Superhero is in the Pocket of Putin and is a personal attack dog for the Oligarchs.

You probably don't want to know how bad the Supervillain Scene is in the USSR...because if you ask I will give an example that will sicken you.
And Los Angeles? I imagine it's also very nice.
Its the Hot bed of Alien Culture, though the LA Riots put a damper on things, its a really nice place to live, also helps that traffic doesn't suck anymore because the highway system was destroyed in the 80s.

Not as bad as you think, Africa's currently getting its act together, the Moon is going well.

America is busy but prosperous,

South America...I'll get back to you on that. But Tree lady is angry

Well, if you want a bit of slice of life. HellFire/Arturo owns a bar (thought under a fake pseudonym) so people of the cartel don't recognize him, and he likes to experiment creating drinks on his free time basically playing mad scientist with any combination he feels could make a decent brewage.

He also is a baseball fan. Whatever baseball team may be in Texas you can be certain he is a fan of and tries to go to as many games as possible, also plays baseball in his free time too.

He is a motorcycle enthusiast, he owns a Harley Davidson, or whatever model is famous at this time, and like sin the nights were he can't sleep to just drive on his ,otorcycle around the city to calm himself, and sometimes look for some trouble so he can bust some skulls (which he ends up healing at the end, so no biggie)

SOme powers are weird.

So any questions on any NPC's you may encounter?

Any other prominent Superheroes/supervillains in Texas? What about the police and Cartels?

Oh yeah there's Aliens there too right? Any important NPC from them?

Well we've got LONE STAR (Who think's he's Texas Superman, but he's really just in San Antonio)

As for Cartels...they've actually got something of a league going on...witch is a problem.

We've got a Few...

J Atom's currently living with a few of them as he lives in Public housing, Their Human Names are Roland, Art and Mia.

My Archnemesis, besides myself of course... The Man I shall grow to Surpass! His Name Forgotten, as I shall have the entire world think of Amber's Construction TLC being the ultimate place to go for Superhero and Supervillain lairs alike!

How many people die to stray lasers from superhero fights, the yearly average
Its a lot lower then the 90s.

In the 90s just imagine a homelander (You know the scene in the Boys) massacure every other week, it got bad.
Is there insurance coverage against damage done by supe fights?
Mostly, though in some cases, in some cases your property is bought without your consent while a battle goes on.

FOrgive me I don't get it.
It's supposed to be a joke. So, I'll explain, we're competitors, in a round about way. Working in the same profession. That's really all there is to it. Just a joke, it would be like if I was preparing to become a dentist in Houston, saying a dentist in Tokyo was my archnemesis ludicrous, because despite working in the same preferred profession we clearly have nothing to do with each other. It's not a particularly funny joke I'll admit.

Alright, I will ask mine. How good (or bad) is the situation when it comes to Boston's superheroic community? Are there many heroes, too many villains? Is the situation for aliens around the same as in LA or NYC?

Can't wait to see how this quest rolls.

Setting Question: Are there any fields of research or business that are currently overlooked, undervalued, and/or underrated that could hold a lot of potential for anyone willing to take them seriously?
