I suppose I might as well ask something that I've been wondering about - What exactly is John Atom's powerset? Because based on his name I've been wondering if it's at all similar to how I set up L Atomica.

He's the Universe's equivalent of Captain Atom. Like almost entirely related to the man's Powerset, he's even got the metal skin.
He missed the Crisis, and was basically responsible for being the Cape who's example led us out of the Dark Age of Comic Books into our modern age.
