Well, sort of. It's more a figure of speech in that the mountain is turning into a horde of NP tier weapons, ergo the mountain is being "thrown" at Ibaraki as a swarm of sharp, pointy, hard objects.

If you think about it, has not every weapon mankind ever developed just been a succession of sharper, harder, faster-moving rocks?

I find Age of Babylon very poignant if you think about it that way.

But if it's a bunch of objects, we can't make a meme about SV.

Until we invent laser weapons. Well, to kill people with instead of missiles.

"By the power of this Command Spell…"

Ibaraki grinned savagely, and looked towards Lancer. If she had any insight into her Master at all, she knew exactly what was coming. She dug her bare feet into the ground.

"…knock his fucking head off, Berserker!"

She moved.

normally that would kill even someone like Shuten... eventually
but Enkidu is non-standart even amoung Heroic Spirits

This wasn't fair.

This was impossible.

But the stump of Lancer's neck bulged outwards, and developed details, like a sculptor creating a statue in fast-forward. In seconds, Lancer stood, as perfect as when they entered the battlefield.

Yeah, figured that.
Da Vinci should have figured that much.
But this HAS to be a drain on Enkidu's reserves, so hope spot?

Unlikely. It's not that he regrew his head, it's that his head was never a weakpoint for him, and it didn't really cost him anything that taking an arm or a leg off wouldn't have. Ibaraki pretty much needs to shatter his Spiritual Core to actually win, and even with all the mana being supplied to her from the Leylines, I don't think she can manage that.

But Lancer's supply is Kotomine, who for all his talent is a mortal and not a Homuculus like say Illya.
Enkidu has the same weakness as every highpowered Servant: a master that is not an infinite source of energy

Hm, time will tell. If nothing else, at least da Vinci will soon lose their proxy. It has certainly been a very informative session for the observing Heroic Spirits, both about Enkidu and da Vinci. A pity that a bit more information could not have been squeezed out regarding Serenity. No matter. Take what they have learned, and start from there.

Yes, I suppose that it was a bit early to eliminate Maiya. Irisviel should be careful, though. She does not have the sheath of Excalibur here, and the next time she tries this kind of stunt, Kirei will be prepared and perfectly willing to gut her. As to Maiya, well, truth be told, I never did like Maiya, so I was actually somewhat hoping that Kirei would dispose of her in this instance. Oh well, there is always next time.

After Enkidu concludes cleaning up this mess, the other Heroic Spirits should be aware by now that da Vinci and Serenity will most likely not risk facing them directly and will target the Masters themselves. They will need to start thinking about how to counteract the two, namely by depriving them of the ability and opportunity to work in the environment most suitable for them, deny them their preferred vectors and force them into a confrontation, a battlefield, that will be disadvantageous for them.

Not all high level servants are prana demanding like Karna or Arturia. Gilgamesh is extremely prana efficient he doesn't seem to be any weaker when changing masters despite Kirei magic circuits being much weaker then Tokiomi. Its possible that Enkidu is the same.

If Ibaraki and Enkidu keep slugging it out at this rate, they might actually wind up destroying enough of the mountain to uncover the Greater Grail.

I forgot Enkidu didn't need a head to stay alive, unlike pretty much anyone else summonable as a Servant. The advantages to being made of clay!

Probably the only way to kill Enkidu is either to give him a disease or complete obliterate his body.

There's a couple of other ways, of varying accessibility to the current cast.

The Mystic Eyes of Death Perception would obviously work just fine, assuming they could a) get Shiki over from Mifune City, b) somehow activate her eyes, because at this point she hasn't even entered her coma, and c) get Enkidu to stand still for the whole thing. Obviously, that's not happening.

A Death Rune would also do it. This is, amazingly, slightly more feasible, except that as good as Da Vinci is, Primordial Norse Runes are a little beyond her. Not happening.

The obvious way is to kill Kirei. However, as seen in this chapter, that's easier said than done, and it isn't a walk in the park even for Serenity due to Enkidu's Presence Detection.

The non-obvious way will be what Caster tries next, having observed just what happened. However, that's really quite enough from me, so feel free to theorise about how you would deal with Enkidu if you were a magical supergenius. (Edit: unlike most times, I'm honestly not fishing for ideas to pass off as my own, I actually do have an idea. When and how it gets implemented is a little more up in the air...)

In a way Enkidu is what happens when gods build a Terminator and they consider themselves formost a weapon.
So I'd guess Da Vinci has the following options:
- Pull the tactic from Terminator 2, Near Absolute Zero temperature, Furnance to melt or bake the muddoll or get a Terminator for yourself.
- Hacking, since Enkidu is "programmed" it might possible to manipulate his "Software"
- Information-type Virus, if hacking for controll is not possible: infect the mind, destroy the software
- Cut of his energy, Enkidu's "Lance" as a Lancer is the very Earth, disturb the connection between them and he might crash or at least lose his Noble Phantasm
- Find the switch that the gods used to turn Enkidu "OFF" it how they "Died" in the Myth, so it should apply to the Servant-version as well.

Vinci shunts him into a pocket dimension where he does nothing but fall?
That's actually not a bad idea, since we know that Dimensional (or at least space) manipulation is something Da Vinci has experimented with. For that matter, 'just' putting him in outerspace would probably at least delay him long enough to attack Kirei with Servants.

In DaVinci's shoes... fire has clearly failed, and other elemental interactions seem to be of marginal utility.
Subverting Enkidu seems like something to try when containment has been achieved, like with Ibaraki. Containment has very clearly not yet happened, and given his displayed capabilities seems unlikely.
So you have a foe that you can't defeat, and can't turn to your advantage. Less direct means, then.
Davinci has demonstrated a good ability with illusions, but Enkidu's detection ability defeats this. DaVinci would thus not rely on them.
Summoning a bigger fish to deal with the issue... I'm not seeing a big enough fish available to summon. Maybe pass on information about Lancer to the other Servants, making it clear that he'll win unless everyone works together against him? Throwing a mountaintop at Ibaraki could play into this backup plan.
Sealing him away seems like a decent shot, and plays into capabilities that Caster has already shown. Dropping him into a mirror world alone and cutting the link with Kirei would be a convincing win, eventually, and the ground could feasibly have been prepared for it.

One entertaining possibility is that DaVinci might conceivably choose to give up on the war as a bad bet, and leave. It would be within Casters abilities to manually incarnate as a human again and thus break any dependence on the Grail. A bit of a power drop, but genius opens many doors.
If the Grail's wish is truly needed for something... well, I imagine sixty years of prep time could make for quite the entry.

Honestly, if we're talking throwing people through portals? Do the thing Casters do best: Territory Creation. Servants get stronger depending on where they are, and Enkidu's absurd strength is in part due to him having a connection with primordial nature, with Gaia.

So what happens when we drop him in the most industrialized, most toxic place in the world? Have him fly face-first into The Elephant's Foot? Go for a swim in the military chemical dumping ground of Dzerzhinsk? How about a stroll through Tianying, where the lead in the air and ground is over eight times the Chinese national safety limit? Or we could just leave him in downtown Tokyo, where the pollution isn't as bad but the megacity status and the large population will make him suffer in silence or risk blowing the existence of the Grail War?

Or maybe Da Vinci pulls a Sepy, and only teleports him to a bounded field that resembles those places.

Gilgamesh does get slightly weaker, but it's essentially irrelevant because that will only come up if he's getting into melee combat - and he only gets into melee combat if he's fucking around anyway, and because the sort of powerful magi who would shoot for 100% Gilgamesh is also the sort of person he'd be the most bored with (and thus the least likely to extend effort with).

The most obvious method would be disperse his clay so he can't regenerate then vaporise the entire thing. Perhaps by pouring a flood's worth of water on top of his head and then dousing it with enough fire to turn it all into steam hardening the clay in the process.

I mean, good thought, but he's the weapon of the gods, not Clayface from Batman. Although he was made from clay and can shapeshift his form because of it, it's not like his structural integrity is that weak that he'd be done in by something like that.

Also, I suppose the actual most obvious method is 'keep hitting him incredibly hard until he runs out of clay to regenerate with', but while that approach works very well if you happen to be the King of Heroes, it's a little hard to put into practice for anyone else.

(Actually, since just grinding Enkidu down the hard way took the entirety of the Gate of Babylon but otherwise went basically fine... does that mean that EMIYA would theoretically be able to do it given enough prana to keep Unlimited Blade Works manifested for the duration? Hmm.)

I approve of this for no other reason than to prove Gil wrong about modern humans.

Then frankly the most logical method would be to force him to keep fighting for days on end, doesn't matter how mana efficient he is, that would cause problems for your average mage. Of course that would either take a bunch of servants taking it in turns to fight him, or Caster having to engage for massively long periods of time. Possibly both to keep him from escaping, though he'd probably end up using Enuma Elish by that point which could wind up achieving the same effect.

Anyway, in my experience, heroes tend to beat monsters when they resort to trickery. What is Enkidu but a monster among Servants? (In terms of both his current apathy, and his power.)
