A Play of Blood and Shot (ASOIAF NG)

Not quite sure which part you're unhappy with but it seemed like at some point the negotiation became between Texan and NPC Senate, with a treaty going "through" without you/Atomic/Casey explicitly signing off on it. Don't think anyone is being clever or acting in bad faith, just that the peace was maybe a bit...steamrolled through.

I think it's fair to say the Ebonheart Treaty claims bit is...I mean, you guys are negotiating in abstracts. The Summer Islanders (and Volantenes, and Poese, and everyone) are unable to claim the vast expanses involved, so they're more areas of influence than proper colonies. Kicking Volantis "out" will just open up the eastern half to a myriad of outside influences, from Westerosi and Ghiscari to...well, anyone else remotely active or interested in the Summer Sea. Considering the utility of the Volantene trade post in Zamettar, their role in ousting the piracy in those parts and in dealing with the Brindled Men, kicking them out to make a point and allowing a power vacuum which you guys couldn't possibly fill might yield far more harm than good.

I negotiated with the Senate after it insisted on taking over negotiations after Volantis said it wanted to continue.

I asked everyone what they wanted added to some rough terms I started up and then presented the final terms to the alliance players. They accepted.

Now days later Volantis is saying that it doesn't feel bound by the treaty the senate agreed to and Qohor is insisting its illegitimate and its not going to recognise Pentos. Fine. We'll fight. Because from where we're standing the Freehold has its head up its ass and is getting burned out by Dothraki with its armies thousands of miles from home and seems to think its in a great position to pull its usual shit of boasting and calling for Armageddon.

Its not over. We're still at war until:

1. Qohor recognises Pentos' independence
2. You and the Summer Islands sort out your shenanigans.

As far as I am aware Qohor did accept it, just not happily at all
If I understand the agreement further once Theravis responds I will probably be okay with it.

So basically war is over, just waiting for some clarification. I haven't made any warplans concerning you if that makes you feel any better about my honesty.

I can accept that the Senate again unnecessarily lost the Freehold another war, that cowards with no military understanding signed a peace treaty, I can accept support has been withdrawn and as a result my army had to withdraw. I however will not sign the treaty, recognise Pentoshi independence or any other provisions of the treaty.

You need to separate OC ranting from IC knowledge. IC you signed a treaty with the Senate, which you believe represents the Freehold, IC Freehold force withdrew with the signing of the treaty. How does Braavos know anything about Qohor's opinion on the treaty or think they got anything other than what they agreed to?

Now I'll recognise Pentoshi independence when the Prince of Pentos stands in the Prelate's Palace and forces me to at sword point. Does Bravos know this, no?

On the Dothraki, they are a minor nuisance dealt with time and again and will be dealt with here again like they always have. In over a hundred years the Dothraki hordes in their multiple invasion have managed to claim the great bounty of a few sheep and saddle sores from the Freehold.

The idea was that I was leaving existing colonies, but Volantis is not to expand farther into Sothyros.

Would you want to amend it slightly insomuch that the existing southern latitude of the Volanteen territory is the barrier just so the map is not horrifying? If not then no big deal, that is way out of the way for your holdings but it isn't a big deal.

We don't have an academy. :p That is what you asked for. We have magic users but no organized system and Aenar Vhossar is not publicly known as a magic wielder due to some of the more unsavory aspects of it like human sacrifice.

And @Ceslas the part that conceded the Ebonheart Treaty does that just throw out the dividing line in Sothoryos that me and the Summer Empire set up? Because that was basically what the treaty was, Zones of Influence.
Then they should have mentioned the mistake!
I meant pushing it all over to the Summer Isles is what I meant. I'm likely selling part to Po.
Oh?
Where our two blue areas converge, the bottom of that where the black line is. Draw a line going east and everything north of that is mine so basically the northern coast and the two river ends that go east.

Hey. That leaves out a nice stretch of land on the east side.

Is it okay if I set up trade posts and such there, considering the Qarthene have been adventuring into Sorthoryos for goodies for ages?

It bewilders me how you're so...urgh.
I like you Theravis but sometimes you annoy me so so so so much.
NATO? Seriously? In ASOIAF? Bloody hell mate.
It's certainly not there yet.

I suppose that the Scottish integration would make more sense, but without a single monarch in charge.
