A Play of Blood and Shot (ASOIAF NG)

In which case we're still at war?

I'm about to leave the country. You could have read the damn treaty instead of saying days later after being pestered that oh no you don't actually intend to abide by it.

You should have told the Senate no days ago instead of this half assed clever shit.

@Ceslas can I have a few days extension for warplans?

EDIT: I'm fine with renegotiating things but there better be a solid counter proposal rather than "Nahnah its not really part of the freehold."

I have also been very busy? Notice how my activity has significantly dropped in the past week or so? Because the Senate referred to it as the Freehold portion of the Ebonheart Treaty I assumed it to be another treaty than the one I made.

@Ceslas if the change simply removes the dividing line between the Zones of influence and leaves the continent of Sothoryos up for grabs then that is fine with me.

@Ceslas is this approved?
The arts of the Warlocks include, the control of water, wind, and earth, the shifting spaces between our perceptions of the world, the arts of the Dharmayatta which illuminate both the soul and those around you, the martial mastery of the Blade Darkened, and the power to see what events shape history, even when they have occurred yesterday, today, or perhaps, for the greatest of all masters, tomorrow.

Not quite sure which part you're unhappy with but it seemed like at some point the negotiation became between Texan and NPC Senate, with a treaty going "through" without you/Atomic/Casey explicitly signing off on it. Don't think anyone is being clever or acting in bad faith, just that the peace was maybe a bit...steamrolled through.

I think it's fair to say the Ebonheart Treaty claims bit is...I mean, you guys are negotiating in abstracts. The Summer Islanders (and Volantenes, and Poese, and everyone) are unable to claim the vast expanses involved, so they're more areas of influence than proper colonies. Kicking Volantis "out" will just open up the eastern half to a myriad of outside influences, from Westerosi and Ghiscari to...well, anyone else remotely active or interested in the Summer Sea. Considering the utility of the Volantene trade post in Zamettar, their role in ousting the piracy in those parts and in dealing with the Brindled Men, kicking them out to make a point and allowing a power vacuum which you guys couldn't possibly fill might yield far more harm than good.

You have seen the game thread as everyone else. The negotiations for a treaty were made between Braavos and the senate. All I did was just agree to the treaty.

In short getting every single player faction tied to a treaty to sign off on it is usually a good way to preclude situations such as this present one.

It's got a long way to go reach there then.
It will be a gradual process.

One that's probably going to take about half a decade or more to fully complete.

*gnashes teeth*

Ugh, how I loath turn times.
Not in this time line. Apparently, it was able to strengthen itself to defeat a larger Jogos Nhai empire between the first and second part of this game.
.......

FUUUUUUUUUU-

I've made lore posts on the Warlocks including all of these. And the Warlocks showed the latter part in Canon, when they showed daenarys illusions and promises.

It doesn't help that the peace treaty is horrible, it sacrifices a good strategic position for surrendering two cities to the Grand Alliance.

I honestly expected the army to mutiny at the treaty proposed it was that bad and had made it so that a force on the cusp of victory had to give up everything it fought for.

I can accept that the Senate again unnecessarily lost the Freehold another war, that cowards with no military understanding signed a peace treaty, I can accept support has been withdrawn and as a result my army had to withdraw. I however will not sign the treaty, recognise Pentoshi independence or any other provisions of the treaty.

I haven't been keeping up with your posts on the Warlocks, hence why I'm checking how much is actually Mod-approved and legit, and how much...whether or not you're maybe over-reaching and pushing the limits a bit too soon, too far.

He is stating it a little strong but I do not see any problems at this time. I would remove the elemental magics though. I haven't seen anything that indicates that.

SON OF A BITCH VOLANTIS DOES HAVE MAGIC

MOTHER

FUCKER

I OFFERED THEM MAGIC DAMMIT

@Atomicwalrus , uh, did you get my PM?

Anyway, I realize that Malek lacks character flaws.

This will be rectified, immediately.

His little adorableness with be swiftly tinged with fear and foreboding.

We don't have an academy. :p That is what you asked for. We have magic users but no organized system and Aenar Vhossar is not publicly known as a magic wielder due to some of the more unsavory aspects of it like human sacrifice.

And @Ceslas the part that conceded the Ebonheart Treaty does that just throw out the dividing line in Sothoryos that me and the Summer Empire set up? Because that was basically what the treaty was, Zones of Influence.

I really don't know. That's just the term that was offered. Talk to @Theravis.

I meant pushing it all over to the Summer Isles is what I meant. I'm likely selling part to Po.

So basically you want all of Sothoryos to be yours? And the existing territory that is inhabited and under Volanteen control may remain so?

Also can anyone link for me where the unit numbers for each faction is?

They're at the start of the old OOC thread for the last game. Though bear in mind losses can't be replaced and we've been fighting for years now so they aren't really pertaining to anything any more.
