Chapter 2: Escalation
Wrong. Words cannot express how WRONG the feeling I'm getting upon seeing the lesser daemons of chaos, but one thing I noticed that is actually really interesting. They have separated into four small mini-groups, I would realize that they are actually separated into each of their patrons, Nurgle had the most at 22 daemons and cultists most of which were nurglings and plaguebearers, Khorne had the second most at 18 daemons and no cultists, mostly filled with bloodletters and flesh hounds, oddly enough Slaanesh had the same amount as Khorne's group, 18 daemons and some cultists which are mostly daemonettes and fiends, and Tzeentch had the least with actually no daemons and just 10 cultists.

Combined they all number at 68, they outnumber us 6 to 1 since we only had 13 people not including me, four of which are not so skilled in combat, the most skilled combat units we have four Black Templars, two Apothecaries, Inquisitor Thrax, Captain Titus, and the one Tech Priest who is still unconscious back with the one apothecary, I need to move away enough that I can make my units to help in pushing them back.

With that in mind, I turned to Titus and Thrax. Titus stared me for a moment before nodding at me and ran to inform the others in the makeshift morgue/medical room near where we entered earlier. Inquisitor Thrax still stared at me as Captain Titus left with the apothecary and two Black Templars, the other two standing with Thrax as they too stared at me.

He must have seen something he liked or something else in my Eien-shape's eyes and turned to run and catch up with Titus and the others. As the last of the Imperials left the ruined bridge and left me with the warp corrupted corpse of the navigator. I could begin eating the ship and birthing my units from my mass. I still need to find a better term than that.

But first, quickly I reached for the navigator to toss him away from the throne in the middle of the room. I grabbed him by the priest garbs and felt something... like... what?... A flash of colors came upon my mind for a brief moment before seeing it get sliced by black and white, just as quickly as I saw that I was back on the bridge.

What was that? Wait. Focus Eien! Shaking my head I toss the navigator's corpse to the far end and decompressed myself enough that I birthed two large proteans immediately. Turns out there wasn't a limit to how much mass I can carry irl which was a blessing in this damn world I guess. I sent the large proteans bursting out of the bridge windows and had them climb to the top of the wreckage and had them form into four Crescents, and they were damn big.

Their sudden appearance seemed to have stunned the Chaos group as they stopped briefly to look at my Crescents forming, oh my. My goo forms FAST. Much faster than they do in the game, that's very interesting. Alright! They've formed, I immediately had my Gootillery lob their payload at the Chaos group while I started consuming, scanning, and overall just violating this ship's technological goldmine (to me).

The hostile movement from my Crescents seemed to have sparked a light underneath the Chaos group as most of them roared and started charging at the ship. Sorry Titus and temporary friends! You're gonna be getting visitors much earlier than you thought!

Damn, how dense are these fucking metals? The mass I'm getting from eating a few inches of the bridge is like if I was probably eating Catalyst for mass! I immediately separated enough to form another Mother Goo, what. Oh my, ok that is really REALLY interesting. I somewhat focus and ignore the sounds of battle outside as my crescents rained blobs of death from above. Thankfully the Formless Goo they fling are more deconstruction nanites and aren't actually connected to the Goo network.

But I was kind of wondering how they make the formless goo for ammunition, but when I birthed the new Mother Goo (That sounds really wrong), I found out how. The Goo Network is not just a network connection. It is a KEYHOLE NETWORK. One somehow locked into the Goo Network, it's kind of like a hivemind where I can share mass with any unit I have. It's also how the units are able to regenerate even when in their commanded forms. The Crescents are taking enough mass from me directly to make the formless goo.

Ok! Quickly, that is enough fascinatizationizing. With me and the new mother goo, we can speed up consuming...

- PING! -

Ah, the navigator chair and the bridge consoles I ate have been scanned, I'll check them later when we are NOT under danger. I hear the sounds of battle start escalating, and had both me and the new mother goo make eight small proteans and sent them out through the bridge window.

Setting the commands of my 'main' mother goo and the new mother goo to continue eating and producing proteans and the occassional mother goo to speed up production. I connected with one of the Crescents and looked through its eyes, I could feel it purr and croon in the back of my mind and slightly smiled a bit mentally which grew wider when I heard the other crescents and the one radiant I had ping in jealousy.

Ok, my eight small protean masses climbed down and I had them form into four groups of drovers and four groups of striders. Looking at the battle, it was actually kind of even, the bloodletters, flesh hounds, nurglings, and daemonettes were actually the first to die but they gave as good as they got, the two Black Templars I rescued earlier from being buried took the last of the bloodletters and daemonettes down with a suicide attack.

I forgot those fanatics were crazily devoted, but now I had more units. The crescents apparently killed quite a bit of the nurglings and plaguebearers, the cultists channeled their inner humanity or what's left of it anyway to become the most dug in pieces of shit I've ever seen. Hell I see some of the cultists use the bodies of their fallen as shields against my gootillery! Which is actually kind of effective much to my dismay. The destruction nanites violently eat a large area and detonate in a small burst of electromagnetic plasma, it sounds good but the attacks actually spread out too much and don't eat as deep as you think. The Crescents payload is more suited to slowing them down than just straight up annihilating them like normal artillery.

Huh I've seen the Striders be near or higher than the Beta which are taller than humans. The Drovers match the Striders in height and they are about the same height as a Space Marine. That's nice to know. Sending them forward I see the 16 Drovers charge up their shotgun shots and let loose with the Striders behind them picking their targets carefully advancing.

Drovers and Striders may have been a good choice for swarming, but I need to develop new and better units since I think even Imperial Guard can take out my small protean units easily.

It's a thought I believe had merit since I see a charging Drover may have killed a cultist, one of the others did some weird mini-ritual on his knife and shoved it into the drover's cannon and it caused my unit to explode. Tsking, I surveyed the battle and saw Captain Titus moving like he does in the fucking game. He is slicing through them all like god damn butter. This is great! Nothing can go wro- Shit.

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

... I just had to mentally say that huh? Uuggggghhhh FUCK!!!

Quickly I look through the 'eyes' of my Radiant nearby and balked at what I saw. That's a fucking WARBOSS! Why in the FUCK is a WARBOSS HERE?! NEAR AN OUTPOST?!?! I look at the skies as if the fucker who shoved me in this world was watching and gave the mental equivalent of the finger, it's because I tempted fate. Fuck you.

"Orks, why did it have to be orks." I heard Titus through one of my Striders and can't help but agree with his muttering. Taking stock of what new proteans my Mother Goos made and sighed in relief before calling them out. Three large protean masses and eight more small protean masses, this was good. I'm not saying anything else that cosmic bullshit will use against me.

I ordered one of the large proteans to move in front of the imperial team and had it morph into a Bastion for them to be able to take cover behind along with another that formed into a pair of Destructors, the last protean formed into another Bastion and I made a gamble and made a gamble to have it 'attack' the Chaos forces. Thankfully my gamble worked, since my forces are not bound by the laws of the game, they can do actions that make sense.

Oh wow, ok so the Bastions attack almost similarly to those big Pandora herbivores in the Avatar movie, aaaaand I just watched it slam its head down and bulldoze one of the few plaguebearers left into green paste. That's disgusting.

This is going to be a very messy fight, I had the eight small proteans quickly morph into four more groups of striders and drovers. I need to quickly wrack up the numbers on our side to take care of the surprise Ork Warboss and whatever the Chaos forces throw at us. The destructors and the crescents keep sending their projectiles at the Chaos and newly introduced Ork forces. I had to take most of my goo units and throw them at the Orks to buy us time, at least until Captain Titus and the others deal with the Chaos team.

I received a ping that notified me of something with the goo mothers and my first body, looking through their 'eyes' I was surprised at what I saw but in a good way. One of the five goo mothers (Not including my main body) ate through the floor and landed in the armory! I found bolters, heavy bolters, hell even a few pieces of spare inquisitor power armor... actually there are quite a number of pieces, this kind of tells me what kind of fighter Inquisitor Thrax is.

Either he is overly cautious or some kind of battle maniac. Judging by what I see that he is actually keeping up with Titus, who is a full fledged space marine, I am inclined to believe he is some sort of battle master of an inquisitor. Not much is known about him really. Quickly having the goo mother look at the entrance to the armory I see it is broken and ruined... maaaaybe I can sneak some of the pieces and give the marines the rest? I mean I'm just potentially giving them more guns to shoot me with but with all this mass from eating the ship? I can risk it.

I have the mother in the armory birth a large protean and had it 'eat' but not dissolve the heavy bolters, plasma cannon, ammo, medical supplies, a weird looking power spear, and pfft. Oh I hope Titus likes me for this. The Vengeance Launcher. I wonder if the good captain channeled his inner Blood Raven and swiped it before he got taken in.

ANYWAY! I had the large protean quickly exit through the hole above and through the bridge windows, along with a few more large and small protean reinforcements. Taking control of a strider near Captain Titus and Inquisitor Thrax I channeled my voice through them.

"Captain. Inquisitor. Back. Weapons." FUCK. Still broken speeched, I saw them look at the strider and quickly had the strider turn and point at the large protean heading towards the templar marines and apothecaries. I noticed them flinch as they saw what was in the large protean and quickly ran back to the lines while my new proteans morphed into more bastions, destructors, striders, and drovers to wreck havoc and distract both Chaos and Orkz.

INQUISITOR THRAX POV

How... thoughtful of the young xeno to give us better weapons, it must have found the armory. I thought as the blob it sent dumped the weapons down on the ground. Ugh. Don't be disgusted me, the xeno went through the trouble of giving us better weapons. Hmph, I see the two Templars decided to immediately take the heavy Bolters, not surprising.

I felt a lot of amusement however when I saw Captain Titus pick up the Vengeance Launcher with an almost joyful look in his eyes, a young veteran he may be. But any space marine loves a good explosion, and after seeing the reports of that weapon in action I can already see the Templar marines being jealous of him.

As for me, I chose to take the Plasma Pistol and ah. I should properly thank the young xeno girl. I pick up my personal Power Spear, [Iron Blessing] and almost felt it warm my hand as if to say it's happy to be wielded again. If I were to be honest, I am glad the xeno girl brought it here. I oversaw the forging of this weapon myself since it was to be mine.

Not a moment too soon, I turned and followed Titus back into battle, hmph it appears he is enjoying himself with using the Vengeance Launcher on the Orkz. I on the other hand charged at a surviving Bloodletter that was going to swing its cursed blade at the ultramarine.

Stepping quickly into it's guard I parried the blade with Iron Blessing and rammed it through the daemon's skull before blasting it apart with my plasma pistol. It's been a while since I fought with Iron Blessing, I should enjoy it while I can.

EIEN POV

Damn. This Inquisitor Thrax is not a joke at all, he didn't even look winded after essentially hauling ass to save Titus' ass from a bloodletter sneaking behind him. He seemed a little happy when I had the protean drop the power spear, was that his? Well, it WAS next to the inquisitor armor. Eh, its a happy accident.

Turning back to survey the battlefield, I can't help but wince. I may be constantly churning out more goo forces, but the Orkz are giving it good to my swarm of Drovers and Striders, despite them losing a lot of ork boyz and nobz. They just keep screaming and coming at us, if I were still fully organic I would shit my pants at seeing them act like that.

I checked and noticed my goo mothers are making a lot more proteans now and that is great, the goo mother in the armory completely ate the rest of it while birthing another two mothers and some large proteans. Ok finally, I have enough now to afford some breathing room for all of us. I gave the command and from the newly eaten holes of the ship. Everyone on the battlefield could see the tide of multiple large and small proteans surging from the hulk of the wrecked ship.

I had my main body follow out and switched back into it as the tide of protean masses morphed into more Bastions which set up a perimeter base for me and the imperials, Destructors which acted like tank destroyers targeting whatever, Crescents which took refuge on top of the ship out of reach, Tempests just in case any air decides to surprise us, countless Striders and Drovers to give the enemy something to shoot and be worried for, and more Radiants which I quickly had turn invisible under the cover of the Bastions and sent them out behind enemy lines.

My main body morphed the Eien shape and it seems like the good captain and inquisitor decided now since I sent a large force out to come back and... actually I don't know if they rest physically, maybe mentally. Yeah let's go with mentally.

"Xeno, I would have to thank you for bringing me Iron Blessing. She is my personal weapon and one that has served by my side through many battles. She has saved my life many times, and I would hate to part with her so soon." Inquisitor Thrax ACTUALLY thanked me, I'm shocked and my Eien shape blinked her eyes in shock.

"I too wish to express my thanks for bringing me the Vengeance Launcher, it is a good weapon and excellent against large hordes like the Orkz brought here." Captain Titus thanked me as well for bringing his favorite weapon. I don't actually know if it is his favorite but that thing would be any space marine's favorite with how much big boom it does.

I look to the side to see that the Tech Priest is still unconscious which I am thankful for, as she would immediately notice that I was no biological but a full machine. Though eating the ship gave me a lot of new goo mothers so I can transfer my conscious quickly to any of them. It's a good way to not die just in case they are dumb enough, which I am hoping they are not, to shoot me once my secret is outed.

"No. Thanks. Need. You. Give. Ship. Me. Help." That was actually a semi-good sentence, maybe my gothic is getting better! "Ah, maybe now I should say it. You are switching between High and Low Gothic, that is why your sentences seem broken xeno girl." Wait what? I quickly did a scan on what words was I using exactly and found out he was right! How did that happen?! I set most of the goo forces on autopilot and quickly set out to fix my mixed gothic problem.

Barely, I could hear the good captain and inquisitor begin speaking with the other space marines and apothecaries about what to do about the remains of the Chaos force and the Warboss' horde. Ok, so maybe this little node is the reason? It's all tangled up with the other nodes, just straighten it out aaaaand...

"Hello? Testing, testing, one two three?" My Low Gothic was actually good now! Huh, my voice actually sounds a little sensual, kind of like those ara ara ladies in anime I used to watch. It grabbed the attention of Titus and Thrax, who walked back over to me and started speaking themselves.

"You finally manage to speak normally young xeno? Truly remarkable." Inquisitor Thrax I don't need you to drawl and be a sarcastic ass right now!

"With that done, do you have a name young xeno? I doubt you would like to be called young xeno all the time." Captain Titus ever the gentleman... well, except to his enemies.

Clearing my throat, although that is not needed. I spoke clearly. "I would rather not, my name is Eien. Since I can clearly speak the language now, I can tell you more about our situation after seeing it from my Radiants." Inquisitor Thrax, Captain Titus, and the rest of the Imperials began listening closely. Since I could speak clearly and I had the only information that could help shed light on our situation.

"My scouts have seen something weird among the Ork forces, their Warboss actually is staying behind and not leading the charge like I usually see other Warbosses do. Though thankfully it seems that the Warboss' didn't intend to join a fight since it didn't have any heavy armor or flying support. This must just be one of those 'fun hunting parties' the Orkz do from time to time. The Chaos team on the other hand are doing something odd, the few cultists have decided to dig in and also dug a hole small enough for them to get in and for my forces to not be able to. Not even my Radiants are able to see what they are doing, the few daemons and cultists left are defending that hole with their lives though." As I finished what I was saying, Inquisitor Thrax's eyes widened and immediately informed us of what had him spooked.

"Those blasted cultists are going to try and bring a greater daemon here! How long ago did this happen?!" Just as I said not too long ago the Chaos position exploded in a pink pillar of warp energies and out from the pillar came a few more slaanesh lesser daemons as well as furies of chaos.

"Ah, fuck me..." I can't help but reflexively said and immediately realized that it was the worst thing I could have ever said in that moment.

"SiNcE yOu ArE iNvITiNg~ wHo aM I tO ReFuSE?~"

Shit.

Oh mini thing: I'm gonna make Thrax into some kind of a sarcastic badass, hopefully I do a good. <:3 Since we don't have really any information on the Inquisitor.

I wonder if the MC could dig down like the roots of a tree and devour a world like that? If so then could she create a weapon that fires these world seeds deep into a planet so no one can do anything about it?

So I did enjoy the chapter and especially the ending. But I have to say that I noticed this chapter wasn't as polished as previously? Any particular reason, because if you just need a bit more time to correct that, then I'm fine with you dropping down to updates every second or third day rather than the daily updates you seem to be attempting currently.

Yeaaaah it wasn't my best. But I made that post because my brain decided to give me it and I was sleepy when I made it so right before I slept was when I made it so yeah. That could be why it's not as polished.

Combined they all number at 68
I'm not sure of the preceding numerology, but this value right here tells me the cultists are too weak. Unfortunately, all it takes is one daemon summoning to get a cultural charged number.
Nothing can go wro- Shit.

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

... I just had to mentally say that huh?
Fool, the renegade Daemon Lord Murphy is not one to be trifled with.

Ah, fuck me..." I can't help but reflexively said and immediately realized that it was the worst thing I could have ever said in that moment.

"SiNcE yOu ArE iNvITiNg~ wHo aM I tO ReFuSE?~"
Not once, but twice. A foolish hubris.

The SI will learn.

Anyways.

An excerpt from when I was dreaming.

"What are you?"

"I was designed by humanity to explore the greater cosmos in the goal of finding worlds capable of bearing life.."

"Designed by humanity to explore worlds? You mean from the golden age of technology?"

"Unknown, I was created when Humanity had just started leave Terra."

Mummerings spread out from the tech priests listening in.

"If you were created back then how have we never discovered beings life you before?"

"Grey Goo was decommissioned a few years after leaving Terra. Unless unexplainable situations happened, most Grey Goo has self destructed leaving behind nothing."

"So if that's the case how are you here."

"Unknown."

A tech priest speaks up. "Perhaps it was a blessing of the Omnissiah. He brought you back."

Then one of the Oldest Tech Priests spoke. "Do you know of the Men of Iron."

"Men of Iron, the servants of humanity? I know a little about them. But we don't work together."

The old Tech Priest spoke once more. "The Men of Iron betrayed humanity. Would you?"

"What do the Men of Iron do?"

"Would you?"

"Of course not."

"Then that is enough. Everyone perform the Holy Rites."

Eien didn't know what to expect... But it was relaxing listening to the tones of Tech Priest. It felt like a load had been taken off her shoulders. Although, at first she was terrified she would be as shackled as the ones helping control the ship. As the chanting continued she retreated into the basic blob form. And electrical sparks could be seen in the blob traveling end to end. The Priests gave their chanting even greater emotion when they realized the Sacred Rites helped the Omnissiah blessed machine.

Edit: The Dream was much more intensive than this one off conversation. They didn't leave the planet yet, but the Imperium was almost pushing out the Cultists, Orks, and Eldar. Meanwhile the Eldar faction here were trying their damndest to kill off the SI before they spread beyond this world while the Imperium was fighting against the Eldar to prevent such a thing from happening. Meanwhile the Eldar are trying to convince the Imperium that it is in their best interests to get rid of the SI the Tech Priests have a different outlook and are saying that the Eldar are just trying to stop the rise of Humanity by preventing the return of a Ancient Machine of humanity which might provoke the return of the Golden Ages, of course the Imperium are more likely to believe the Tech Priests over Xeno-Scum. Thus forming a desperate fight where the Eldar refuse to let the SI live, and the Orks are just enjoying themselves as the war progresses and the Goo is spreading throughout the world assisting the Imperium as they fight off the enemies in the world. Meanwhile and Imperial fleet is only a few lightyears away and the Eldar Farseerer knows this so they are trying to figure out how to kill off the Grey Goo fast.

Just found your story pretty good so far. But it got me thinking what would rimaru do to 40k universe ? Anyway hope to read more.

Imperium is super corrupt and hate macine intelligences nearly as much as xenos and I only say they tolerate Xeno s more is that rouge traders operating beyond the imperium and worlds near the imperiums borders have to make alliances of necessity with various small Xeno empires to survive. Her best bet would be making friendly with tau and tricking them into including the goo as a client race since their as far from the eye of terror that you can get and allow her to fight/eat tyranids. Though I'm hoping for a sort of rimuru story where she creates her own faction/empire of all the small races all the big factions ignore

Can the MC make none grey goo vehicles/weapons/ships? Cause if so then she could make a trade empire by selling top of the line weapons and ships to the smaller empires that wouldn't have the necessary infrastructure to build and maintain such equipment on their own!

When are the Eldar right with anything when it comes to predictions? The problem with Eldar predictions is that they are unreliable at best, devastating at worst.

The future isn't a single, set thing. It's malleable, composed of infinite branches from every choice from every being.

And in many cases the Eldar make things much worse. For example, that one time the Eldar saw the future of Angron and basically they made sure their vision will come true after trying to kill him.

The Eldar are simply too proud to admit they're not wrong with anything and that's why pretty much every race within 40k hates them.

Omake 1: Nibbling Mother Eien
My brain did a thing, and now this is a thing. I'll make random omakes every now and then when my brain decides to yeet an idea at me. Most of these omakes aren't meant to be taken seriously as they should be, so I hope you enjoy. They will go into the Sidestory label. :3

In the grim dark of the universe... sat a predator feasting on her prey...

...

Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom~

"Can you kindly let go off my fingers?" Captain Titus politely said to Eien, whose humanoid form is currently nibbling two of his fingers with her mouth and it doesn't look like she's going to let go with how content her face looks with those closed eyes.

The Ultramarine captain turned to look at his companions with a dead stare, silently asking them to help him remove the nibbling xeno. Thrax just had this annoying smirk and Titus swore he saw the two Templar marines' helmets SMIRKED at him. Turning back to look at Eien who was still delightfully nibbling on his gauntlet's fingers and by extension his own. He pulled his arm back and Eien's eyes opened with a dull glow as if daring Titus to try again.

Which he did, and he is now somehow on the ground with the xeno on top nibbling his fingers still. Emperor please grant him strength, for this humiliation will be with him till the end of days.

Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom~

Astartes armor tastes really nice~

This omake came to me when I randomly thought of this one video.

Not to mention there is a particular Chaos God whom I have no doubt just loves messing with prophecies and predictions to further it's own goals. Tzeentch, the Changer of Ways and Architect of Fate.

You know, that is a serious point. Maybe that is one of the reasons that whenever a Human has the potential to turn things around a random Farseer suddenly appears starts hunting that Human.

In the inquisitor's section he repeated emphasis on how grateful he is towards Eien feels a bit weird. As in, it's too easy, too much.
The general concept and most of the execution so far are decent though.

Yeaaaaah, sorry about that. I was writing Chapter 2 in the middle of the night. It was when my brain decided to hit me with a one two punch of how Chapter 2 was gonna go. So its not as polished as it should be cause I was trying to get it out before I completely forget it.

Though my idea on it was that Thrax is actually one of the older inquisitors, and I made his weapon Iron Blessing as a sort of weapon he holds dearly to himself since it has been with him through thick and thin throughout his years as an Inquisitor.

In regards to Thrax being 'nice' to Eien, there are two fairly straightforward explanations for his overall behavior. First, not all Inquisitors are cut from the same cloth so it's perfectly reasonable to have one that can be polite to Xenos that aren't trying to eat/corrupt/kill them.

Secondly he's on a crashed ship with only a few space marines as backup, no rescue or resupply in sight and is surrounded by Chaos and Ork forces. And this xeno (who has not attacked them while offering help in exchange for eating bits of the wreck) is willing to act as/produce cannon fodder. Given the circumstances, he can be perfectly willing to be civil while telling the more....zealous Space Marines to shut up and keep shooting the things that are trying to kill them all.
Priorities you bloody Black Templars!

How effective would shield worlds be in warhammer? And could they be combined with factory worlds? If so then you have a highly defensible world that can produce enormous fleets from seemingly nothing due to keyhole shenanigans

Eien's "General" Information
Ok this is by far another threadmark of a post, but let me explain. This is more so an index on what Eien can do, what she has unit wise, tech wise and this is where I will try and do my best to explain what she's got.

Do Note: That some information will not be posted/edited into here until after I have revealed them in later chapters. But I MAY add some hints if I feel like it.

So here's the info. I made liberal use of the Spoiler if you didn't notice. :3

Electromagnetic Plasma - Similar to the Human race that created them, their plasma can be used to create weapons, from the shotgun-type Drovers, the armor piercing Striders, the explosive Destructors and Dwellers, as well as the Tempest and Radiant homing plasma grenades. Unlike the humans version of plasma however, the Goo's plasma weaponry cannot be focused into a laser, further testing is required in this field.
Pathfinder Technology - While the Goo have evolved away from their exploration tech, they have not forgotten them. Surveyors, bioscanners, atmospheric monitoring units, radio connections. The Goo still has their original technology in their databanks, it simply has no use for them at their current time.
Human Technology - While not exactly useful to the Goo in which they can morph into them due to lack of unique resources and Valiant compatibilities, the Goo can still gather insight and ideas from their creator's technology.
Yggdrasil(Goo) Network - It is the collective union of the entirety of the Goo. Initially used as an interstellar communication array for the Pathfinder Project, it was mainly used to help the Pathfinder keep track of every single probe and nanomachine involved in the project in the galaxy. When the Silent Ones (The Shroud) came and wiped out several of the Pathfinders, the Goo adapted, and the Network along with it. With it's ability to open and go through keyholes, the Network evolved to become an interstellar communications and mass storage array. As long as a Goo unit is connected to the evolved network, they can continue to use the mass in storage to regenerate themselves.

In essence, with the Goo Network. As long as there is plenty of mass, the Goo Army can regenerate and replenish it's numbers on a scale like no other. (Maybe the Orkz and Tyranids can contend.)
Siphon Technology - Developed for the sole purpose to combat the Shroud, the Silent Ones are a species comprised of energy. The Siphon Technology is a developed response so as to give the Goo a fighting chance against the coming silence. Its use can be varied, but most of the time the Siphon absorbs energy and purifies it through a process and converts it into an aura of mass in order to heal nearby units.
Navigator Chair - Absorbed and Scanned by Eien on the Incorruptus, this technology should provide some insight perhaps on how to map and locate areas in realspace. Further testing required.

Bridge Controls - Absorbed and Scanned by Eien on the Incorruptus, this technology can be compared and/or merged with human ship control technology from the Goo's creators.

Incorruptus Wargear Armory - Absorbed and Scanned by Eien on the Incorruptus, the numerous weapons and armor pieces that were found in the armory can be recreated or integrated and improved upon within Eien's forces.

Type-W Menial Drone - This is the original chassis of UR-025/R0-NU-5, instead of the assault cannon and power claw, it originally had more industrially bulky arms with four 'teeth' clamps for hands, supported with multiple hydraulic pistons. It was originally meant for heavy duty menial work such as carrying heavy objects around.

1000 Different Decipherable STCs - Recovered from the memory banks of the integrated UR-025/R0-NU-5, a lot of these STCs along with their physics packages are variants of main STCs, it is from these STCs that Eie The Great Machine Mother managed to retrieve the STC for the highly volatile MK.I Volcano Cannon, it is still currently being compiled together.

Current Units:
Goo Mother/Large Protean/Small Protean - Each class of Protean mass functions similarly but still have differences. All of these protean masses are capable of breaking down anything they eat and converting it into mass to add to the Goo Network. They may be a little slow, but their goo-ish nature allows them to basically traverse any terrain with no effort at all. They can also 'wash over' formed units to quick repair them rather than let the units repair on their own.

The differences they have in function are specialized in nature, Goo Mothers are the only ones capable of EFFICIENTLY harvesting and storing the mass in the Goo Network, they can store it and later on share it with the rest of the units connected to the Goo Network. Large and Small Protean masses of Goo are born from Goo Mothers, and they in turn form themselves into the units desired. With the Large Proteans morphing into shapes that can be considered as the Goo's 'Armor and Heavy Units', and the Small Proteans morphing into shapes that are considered as the Goo's 'Infantry and Specialist Units' it is possible that this can change as new units are developed.
Drover - Originally a surveyor drone, these close ranged walkers fire a plasma shotgun blast. However, since the plasma isn't concentrated, the damage output of the plasma blast is not that great. The Drover is best used in large numbers for wolf pack attacks, this is an effective way to use them since Drovers are morphed in groups of four for each small protean.
Strider - Originally a bioscanner, these walking guns fire a concentrated plasma bullet that pierces through armor like a hot knife through butter. The attacks of the Strider are more akin to an anti armor rifle than a rocket launcher's ordnance. They are morphed in groups of two for each small protean.
Radiant - Adhering to it's original purpose as a mobile radio tower, it has fulfilled the role of scouting for the Goo force. Armed with a weaker version of the Tempest's plasma grenade. It is a scout and infiltration unit capable of detecting cloaked units all the while being cloaked itself, they take an entire small protean to create.
Tempest - Originally an atmospheric monitoring unit, the Tempest is the Goo's anti-air specialist. Generating and controlling three highly concentrated plasma grenades that float between the appendages in a lazy circle. These plasma grenades act similarly to flak on top of a high yield plasma explosive, their targeting system is excellent at air but awkward against anything else and while it can fire at ground units. It is horribly inaccurate when targeting ground forces. Similarly, they form in groups of two similar to the Striders.
Dweller - These function as burrowing units, with the addition of pouch that is filled with a mix of volatile plasma and unformed goo. They can help dig ditches, tunnels, and underground caverns if needed. With the yield they have in their pouch, they can also function as mobile landmines. Upon detonation they release the unformed goo that eat whatever was left behind by the initial plasma explosion and form into two Small Proteans for use. They are formed in groups of two per large protean.
Destructor - The Destructor was not changed much from their original purpose of clearing rubble and landscape with their high impact explosive plasma cannon. These are the heavy hitters of the Goo force, their plasma attacks explode upon contact shredding multiple targets in a small radius. They are formed in groups of two per large protean.
Crescent - Designed to traverse extreme terrain, these former large scouts have been converted into the Goo's mobile artillery walkers. They lob a specialized mass of goo that contains destruction nanites, not connected to the Goo Network these nanites have one purpose only. To eat away at what they land on and detonate themselves after a few seconds. It is hard coded into the nanites and any attempt to hack (if anyone is even fast enough) will just result into an earlier detonation of the destruction nanites. These units form in groups of two per large protean.
Bastion - Functioning exactly as it was designed as a way to shelter smaller Goo units and protecting them from large predators. These units are the largest formed unit in the Goo arsenal, while it has no ranged offensive abilities, it is still an extremely large unit and can use it's bulk to run over its enemies. Due to its size and defensive capabilities, it is essentially a walking fortress wall. Bastions are extremely dangerous when up close, as on death they can explode like a dweller as well as use its remains to form a small protean. They take an entire large protean to form one of them.
Purger - The Purger, is a protean mass like the Mother Goo, Large and Small Proteans. However it can be created by any Mother Goo, as the Purger is simply a Mother Goo that has grown far too large. While it is uncommon for a Purger to form the 'natural' way, a Mother Goo can sacrifice other Mothers in order to speed up the creation of a Purger. The Purger is like a moving mountain, the multiple tentacles of goo it can create can tear into the ground and rush at enemies from below, like the other protean masses it can consume any poor unit that gets caught in it. While it is unconventional, the Purger is capable of acting as a Goo Mother.
Siphon - The Siphon, a unit which was made in direct response to the Silent Ones. Its use is to extract energy of all kinds and convert it for the Goo to use to heal nearby units. Aside from the energy extraction beam, which does little physical damage, the extraction of energy can drain power and energy from units to structures. With the introduction to Warp Energy, it appears that it can also be extracted and converted, albeit at a slower pace. These units form in groups of two per large protean.

Designed Units: (See any lights as blue)

Standing just about as tall as the average human, the Goblin is the 'standard' infantry combat unit of the Goo, made with the design of the Vex but with the technology of the Goo and Grey Goo's Humanity. It is a superior 'cannon fodder' type unit. With its specially designed ball jointed limbs, it is capable of rotating its limbs in unnatural(To most organics) ways in order to catch their opponent off guard. The Goblin is armed with the Plasma Shifter Rifle, a rifle that can be wielded one handed by the Goblin (Two handed by organics) that can fire single, burst, or full auto plasma projectiles at the enemy. If need be, it can shift the chamber and switch the barrel to be able to fire shotgun blasts of plasma instead.

The Hobgoblin stands just a few inches higher than the Goblin, but it is more of a specialist between the two. Hobgoblins come with a few extra appendages in the form of barbed tails that can grab, choke, stab, or slash foes that come in melee distance, and a cloaking device that has been inspired by the Human Dagger and Goo Radiant. They are equipped with the Cracking Sniper Rifle, a magnetically charged rail-gun type sniper rifle that fires rounds similar in size to the Bolter rounds of the Adeptus Astartes. Combining the cloak and the loudness of their sniper rifle, these units are meant to sow discord and disarray on the battlefield. Due to their mechanical nature and advanced rifle, their effective range is far superior to most other sniper units.

There have been sighted Variants to the Hobgoblin. The Guard Variant and the Spotter Variant. The standard Hobgoblin is a cloaking sniper, while the Guard Variant feels akin to a more armored and smarter Goblin. The Guard Variant has been seen more so on the frontlines with the Goblins and Minotaurs, often acting as some form of captain that can direct the units around it to focus fire at a designated target. It is armed with the same Shifter Rifle as the Goblin as well as having a built in Shield Generator, this generator allows for the Guard Hobgoblin to generate a small energy shield for a few brief seconds.

The Spotter Variants are usually seen or rather unseen along with the standard Hobgoblin. These Spotter variants have a far more impressive camera system that allows them to view and calculate distance, wind, bullet drops, trajectory, pathing, infrared, and more. They are armed with the same cloaking device and a Shifter Rifle. They have a port on the back of their heads that allow for a standard Hobgoblin or Guard variant to interface with one of their tails in order to use the Spotter's highly advanced camera.
(There is no horns on this hobgoblin)

The Minotaur so far comes in two sizes, 3 meters and 10 meters. These are the heavier hitters of the Goo's infantry combat units, larger, more armored, and deadlier cannon fodder. Both sizes are capable of picking up a human and anything similarly sized with one 'hand' and throwing them away. Armed with the Hammer Cannon, it is a plasma ball cannon similar to the Goo's Destructor unit's cannon, modified to additionally give the charging plasma ball a containing field of nanites keeping the volatile energy contained and ready to detonate before launching the 'container' and by extension the ball of explosive plasma using a magnetically charged rail system similar to the Cracking Sniper Rifle of the Hobgoblin.
(Discard the redlectro whip please)

The Harpy, the Goo's First Flying Unit. A sleek design that is the size of the 3 meter Minotaur's torso chassis, built with a shifting frame, anti-grav core and several ion propulsion emitters. This unit is capable of flying at rapid speeds with little to no drag. Should it shift and open up its panels it will unveil the three plasma repeaters on the frame. It is useful in many operations, from frontline massed assaults, to hit and run wolfpack attacks if needed. The six thin tentacles on this frame are filled with the flowing nanites in the frame and can be used to either grab, stab, or to 'interface' with other technology. (Usually in the form of eating)
(There are only six tentacles. Not that many.)

The Cyclops, it is the Goo's artillery/anti-tank combat frame. Larger than even the 10 meter Minotaur due to its legs giving it extra height, the frame is originally meant to be a defensive emplacement meant for protecting areas. Since then the design has been retrofitted with four powerful legs with clamps to dig into surfaces, a few gyroscopes to keep itself from tipping over, and a more sophisticated targeting system. Its armament is that of an oversized charging plasma cannon, the projectiles of this cannon can be switched between its normal high-yield projectiles for anti-tank roles and 'weighted' plasma projectiles to allow for arcing shots for its artillery role. It is then armed with two extended stalks that carry plasma repeaters meant for anti-infantry just in case if an enemy manages to get close to one.

The Hydra, designated as the Goo's 'tank'. Features a multi segmented design with a size that makes it seem like on is going up against a moving building. Fitted with several anti-grav cores, few ion propulsion emitters, and a few gyroscopes, this unit while heavy is able to traverse all types of landscapes. Its weight ensures that it is unable to truly fly unlike its more designed cousin the Wyvern, it makes up for it for its survivability and deadliness on the battlefield. In its three lower segments, each segment is host to two plasma repeaters and two nano-tentacles, meaning that overall it has six plasma repeaters and six nano-tentacles for anti-infantry and anti-melee. On the upper main chassis segment on the other hand houses the 'heavier' tech, two underslung plasma cannons arrays for anti-armor, two longbow energy gun emplacements on the top for anti-air, and on the sides of the main chassis are two exposed energy shield emitters modified from the Grey Goo Humanity's energy wall emitters. These two emitters allow the Hydra to fully surround itself with a spherical shield that allows for it to shoot all its weapons through the shield and for enemy projectiles to harmlessly dissipate on said shield.

NOTE: Friendly-designated units may actually cross the shield while Hostile-designated units will actually be repelled by said shield.

The Wyvern, a war frame that is primarily built for combat. It is a large walker that is larger than a Hydra frame and nearly just as armored. Unlike the slower Hydra however, it is deceptively fast on the ground and is capable of jumping and even kicking at any ground foes. A dreaded attack from the Wyvern is the aptly named 'Wyvern Dive' in which the warframe jumps and uses its anti-grav core along with the numerous ion propulsion emitters to quickly launch itself at a targeted foe with one of its talons out.

Said talons can also be used to grab enemies or objects and it can be used as well in its air configuration. The Wyvern is capable of shifting its appearance slightly into an air configuration that puts it in the heavy fighter class, its armaments of twin triple Hammer cannons next to the connector holding the 'wings' are more than enough for anti-armor although it is not capable of homing on targets, below its 'head' are a pair of plasma repeaters for anti-infantry and anti-light capabilities, the numerous tentacles flowing on its back can be used in conjunction with its legs to grab at unsuspecting foes. There have been sightings of flying Wyverns grabbing onto enemy fighters and crushing them or ripping them in half.

One of its most dreaded tactics however is that the Wyverns' tentacles have been known to repair morphs and 'revive' fallen frames. If a combat frame is still intact but has lost its puppeteer, then the wyvern will simply separate a chunk of its own puppeteer and inject it into the inactive frame reactivating it.

(The pic just think the legs are swung forwards and connected below the 'wings' and the tentacles are there. <:3 )
The Puppeteer Protean mass, is a specially designed unit meant to be used mostly to commandeer or 'puppet' the various infantry units of the Goo. A recurring problem noticed by the creator Eien, is that the unit needs to be 'shown' how to puppeteer the unit before it can learn it. [NOTE: IS USABLE ON ORGANICS]

Aaaaaaaaand this be it, I'll just keep editing this as new stuff gets revealed in later chapters. Hope I did a good with this! <:3
