Turn 114
You decide to support the Dark Angels to the maximum extent they requested, sending 20,000 settlers along with a regiment of Krieg infantry to Tagus IV, along with 2 full companies of combat engineers along with blasting charges and construction equipment to build them a proper Fortress base, and establish a mountain town, where the chapter can draw serfs from in the future and to provide them with some wealth and economic development.

The Krieg Infantry, will serve them as combat-serfs, operating artillery guns, heavy weapons turrets and providing tactical support as light infantry for their new Space Marine masters.

You opt to repair the Mechanicus cruiser first, while it can serve as a generic heavy cruiser, its unique design(even if its originally from the Dark Mechanicus) is built around Explorator missions and long-range expeditions for the Tech-Priests in their eternal quest for knowledge and lost technology. While it was gutted, its design is built to accomodate a mini-manufactorum, allowing it to serve as small factory in space. While that would not necessarily serve your forces that well, you could have a repair shop installed, as well as a small tech-forge, allowing you to recover damaged and destroyed vehicles and equipment, salvaging them or repairing them on campaign, as well helping you keep your vehicle fleet and high-end gear in top shape while on campaign. In addition during peacetime, it could provide a small trickle of special equipment from its techforge.

In addition 4 regiments of Krieg vat-born troops have come of age and are wrapping up military training, they are expected to join the order of battle in a few months, deploying to the outpost system in the realm for garrison duty, where they will be conducting additional training while in garrison.

Finally the Inquisition expedition into the webway, presumed lost after no contact for almost a year has returned to your defenses in the webway, apparently with the differences in the passage of time, they believe they have only been gone for a few days....

They have dropped navigation transponders and believe they have found a webway portal to an unknown destination near the Moran gateways....

(I would like to open up an additional write-in option for long-term planning as well as naming the Dark Angels new chapter)

This should help if we have to go help protect other worlds in the sector. Tho loosing all the Dev points hurts.

-[X] Have all our forces not part of the fleet train for a possible invasion, incl militia/arbites and any other semi independent forces in our system.
-[X] Begin stockpiling of food/water/guns/ammo ect.
-[X] Clear out any bandits/gangs and groups that would take advantage during a possible siege and turn them into servitors to help with invasion prep.

We don't really have enough ships to make a warp capable fleet at this point but I have nothing against it beyond that.
Training further void regiments for boarding and drop regiments for rapid deployment and shock assaults though would definitely be good.
Might be worth trying to set up specific training schools for them in the long term to allow for a steady supply of reinforcements to damaged units and fresh regiments as we expand, drop troopers especially make a great counter balance to our Krieg infantry.

We seriously need to get proper artillery into production though, what kind of self respecting guard force doesn't have artillery?

Our pre heresy dark angels come from rangandian wars, probably the second biggest war on the crusade only after Ullanor, I think I can imagine this guys being fierce anti Xenos really. hence slayer title

You decide to install a repair shop and small tech-forge on the Mechanicus cruiser, losing your last dev slot for next turn.

You also attempt to create more Geno-warriors, with your first geno regiment only 7 years old and undergoing basic training and psycho indoctrination, based on Krieg practices as well as the practices described to you by the 30k Geno warriors for their upbringing.

I also realize I forgot your previous tech-mining roll so we'll do two of those as well as the geno warrior roll

Both roll types benefit from +2 bonus and follow similar rules.

While we had a crit-fail I will be nice and process the second roll first for the tech-mining

The tech-mining operation finds a massive trove of ancient tech, which the Mechanicus quickly secures and ships off-world. However per our contract they have to pay us for what they find.

Unfortunately in the following days, there is a major tunnel collapse, killing dozens of workers, along with a few tech-priests as well as majorly damaging some equipment, and it will take another turn before they can mine again.

The Geno-warrior spawn goes ok, but not great, with roughly half the two regiments worth of Genos surviving their first few months without mutation or major health issues.

This is pretty big, honestly even just armed merchants would be a huge boon to our space faring capabilities!
