IF we go the supervillain route we could end up rogues like Calculator Man who works for both villains AND heroes so long as they provide recompense and respect Nuetrality or Super heroes like Raven, Spoiler, Tigress, Ravager, Wally West, Robin 4(Damien),Jericho, New Aqualad, More kids of Supervillains who ended up heroes

We're gonna be a supervillain or rogue. The Penguin is actually one of the best villains we could have been associated with. He's a man of business, who just has to use ill means, as king have to at times. Being a mafia princess is awesome, and we really can't be a hero unless we want to put our Dad in jail, which, just, no.

We can infringe on the Carpenters shtick and make deathtraps for Dad and other supervillains, supply Oswald and his goons with arms and armor, AND inventions for the civilian sector.

All of those kids...really, really hate their parents, and the feeling is mutual. I'm admittedly fuzzy on Tigress and Wally, not sure about them.

I want Adrian to follow in her Dad's footsteps, and to maintain their relationship even as she grows older. He's a bad guy, but he's not a monster or psycho.

I dont want her to be a supervillain though. I'd rather emulate the neutrality of Daddy Penguin and have her build a Ture Neutral (or as close to) area of Gotham where the criminals get to mingle and the heroes can try to broker deals and bargain for Rules of Engagements like Flash does.

Also does quadruple duty as a kingdom where we rule, broker all the deals, launder all the cash, and research all the things.

A semi legit black market if you will. This would probably have the nominal support of Batman due to us being a source of the more mundane supplies villains need without going crazy, and also as a known source for possible questionable objects or information without having to hassle too many people.

I would actually get behind this since we may help bad guys but we just want the body counts low and see where we can help

Batman/Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul, you wouldn't have been able to remember much of anything similar to Taskmaster because your Grandfather would have been terrible at child care and you would have fallen into a Lazarus pit as a toddler

Nah, this is better. We would have just been stealing Damian's thing. And unlike the Penguin, Talia is a complete bitch who we would have to put six feet under.
 
Yeah, Penguin is a MUCH better father than all the other choices. We can basically go for the best of both worlds of heroes and villains.

I have to say I didn't expect Cobblepot. Also it feels like too many people are already wanting to jump down the villain or grey! routes without really letting the character develop.

Eh, Cobblepot is okay, whom the mother of his child is could be disapointing. My guesses for the choice that gave us Cobblepot were Mr. Freeze, Two-Face, Bruce Wayne (not batman, but Bruce Wayne, the playboy of gotham, and a Selina Kyle, it fits perfectly), and the Zeus guy (rich, tech, insane badass, at mook level). I threw Cobblepot out due to him being a mob boss, CEO isn't really his most public act. Similar to Lex Luthor moving to jump city to be a gardner, no one would trust their product.

its just a general goal to go towards. Best to set the dreams early so we can build the foundation solidly right? Also who would want to be a Hero with Cobblepot as a dad? Chaotic Good mercenary is probably the best one can hope for.
 
I'm completely convinced that the only reason we have the genius trait is because Adrian's appearance picture looks smart.

Adrian looks Asian in some capacity, but I don't think the identity of dear old mom matters that much.

Meh, it seemed like you were going to try and turn us into someone like Kitten just because we couldn't be batgirl. The phrasing kind of indicated a "If we can't be the one I want then we cant be anything even similar" kind of deal.

We can scale up from there, but dad needs to LIVE first. You can always make it the underlayer of a power suit or hand him an umbrella next tuesday.

Failing altogether, though, might result in a dead dad.
 
Maaan, I know the update wont come for a while yet, but I keep checking anyway. Having Penguin as a dad is just awesome! And being able to be solidly on the other side of the law majes our inventions all the more amazing since we have to conpete with Batman's stuff.

Hope we get trained like Robin does though. A harmless genius is too much of a delicious bait for other crazies to pass off kidnaping.

I'm curious if our skill will cause the bulletproof suit to be better than usual. Plus, an umbrella gun isn't really that much of an improvement from a regular gun.

And the umbrella IS the penguin's signature weapon. Imagine the significance it would have if it was made by his "Little Princess". Things like that hold some serious weight in worlds like DC.
