Very devious, quite nice

Are our acting skills something we want Clara to know about? Even if it solves our immediate issue elegantly I think it would be a better decision in the long run to keep that a secret and just handle the situation with good old fashioned violence.

What we are doing here is hardly showing off what we CAN do. We are, after all, only wanting them to hesitate. I think most anyone could probably have a chance at succeeding, so she would have no way to tell the difference between luck and skill.

I dont think we have enough to work with in regards to mimicing him.

We only heard two syllabels before taking him down

I do like the ambush though

The clothing, sure. But we have no idea what his normal voice sounds like (we heard two syllabels of shouting) nor what his allies names are so how can we hope to impersonate him for even a short while?
Say we accidentally clothesline ourselves on something, making it rather darn hard to talk, and thus messing up our voice. As for their names, don't gotta say them. Could say stuff like "Guys" "Buddy" and so on. We only need it for, like, a minute max. And really, I've carried on MANY conversations without having the faintest what the other persons name is (I'm terrible at remembering names).

The current plan is to pretend we're him for a few seconds, probably less than that, to make these people hesitate.

Obviously they'll right through that charade with only a bit of mental effort, but the moment they spend realizing that is the moment we close the distance.

That's my current understanding of the plan at least.

My man, I meet with a person whose name I don't remember almost every week. I can definitely attest to the ' carrying conversation without knowing name'.

A remarkable idea suddenly crossed your mind, and you changed your plans, actually muzzling your guy before raising your voice and speaking in a deep, male tone:

"Damn it, Man! You almost gave me a heart attack!" Combined with the walls in between there and the rest of the guys, this should be enough to fool them. But just to sell the illusion, you looked at Clara and whispered "play along".

She understood what to do immediately. It really was great to work with competent people:

"HAHAHA! You should have seen the look on your face!" She shouted in a passable imitation of the man who had tried to give the alarm.

With that, you had probably gained an extra chance, but it wouldn't do to get complacent, as unexpected things could happen any time. Like the other two could move from their positions for some reason and end up stumbling onto the restrained enemies.

So, you decided to stack things up in your favor as much as possible. You took one of the lab coats and wore it, since it could possibly make an enemy hesitate for a precious moment. Clara followed your lead, and the two of you went back up from the basement.

Upon reaching the main hall, you discovered that everything had gone right. The two men you had beaten earlier were still tied down, and it seemed like no one had noticed them.

Knowing that this was a great opportunity, specially considering that there should only be two enemies remaining, you acted quickly, bringing Clara along as you hurried to the west section of the house.

Your luck held out, and as soon as you entered you managed to see both another gang member sitting at a table and a pistol at that same table, and it didn't seem like he noticed you.

Moving at your max speed, you easily managed to subdue him before he even noticed that something was wrong. And calling upon Clara, you got her to pick up the pistol, while you two went back to the main hall.

After that, the last part of the operation was easy. You ordered Clara to stay there and make sure nothing unexpected happened while you checked first the east hall and then the second floor (there finding the last gang member) and the house was cleared.

After that, the next steps were simple. You finally called the other two members of the group into the house. They dealt with the dogs by using the nets and muzzling them, and all that was left was finishing the mission and potentially the secondary objective.

The division of tasks was easy. Roberta and Clara started dragging the gang members outside the house, while Susan was the one who held the bomb and would plant it in the basement. Naturally, she would also look to see if the information she wanted to get was there.

You would also search for it, and the place where it seemed the most likely for it to be was:

[] The ground floor
[] The second floor

A. N: You guys got some really good rolls here, and that's why things went so perfectly.

Almost at the end of the operation now...

With our Parkour we can jump out a second floor window no problem.

[X] The second floor

You decided to get the second floor searched, and the group split up between their respective duties. You kept an ear out in case of anything unexpected while you carefully searched every one of the second floor rooms in search of any documents that looked important.

The fact that the house was only a shelter, instead of a place where people actually truly lived, was something that really helped you. There wasn't really an excess of papers of things like bills and similar, which would not be the case on a real residence. Still, looking through wasn't exactly a quick and easy process, specially considering that you didn't know what it was exactly that you were looking for.

However, you managed to find something good. It was a small notebook, that you looked through and found several names of people and phone numbers, together with names of several different substances. Those were probably the suppliers for the raw materials used to make drugs.

You still kept looking to see if you'd find anything else, but that was already a pretty good result.

You did not in fact, managed to find anything else, and you went back to the ground floor in time to see Susan coming up from the basement. You informed her of your find and you two went to check out how the other two were doing with their task.

They were pretty much done, so Susan set the timer on the bomb to two minutes before all four of you left the house.

All four members helped drag the six gang members a little bit more away from the house, just to be sure, and then you left through the gate. Susan having gotten the key from one of the enemies.

You waited until the explosion happened, and then all four of you split up and left through different routes.

You headed west, cutting through a sidepath, and your intention was to enter a relatively secluded spot before removing your mask.

But you were stopped in your tracks by a horrifying sight.

It was a girl, wearing a set of clothes that looked like a coat and jeans, along with a hood, except that every single piece of clothing seemed to be interwoven with shadow, giving them an otherwordly impression.

Standing at the top of a nearby house, looking straight at you, was unmistakably Shadow Crusader.

What do you do?

[] Faint.
[] RUN AWAY!
[] Wait a minute, why are you so scared...?
