A Game of Supers (The Gamer/Original Superhero Setting)

In both options, we're moving silently. You do realize that right? Nothing really changes in either option besides us trusing Clara to take out one guy by ourselves while we do the other.
So, yes, this is about doing it ourselves or not.
] The guy watching TV is distracted. You and Clara should team up to subdue your "guide" without a sound before moving onto him.
Right there, "team up", work together. Not doing it ourselves, we are doing it together.
[] There are two of them and two of you. Split the duties and deal with both targets at once.
-[] Clara gets the near and you the far one.
No where in there does it mention the ability to subdue them without a sound.

So what basis is there to assume that, if we don't take the option that explicitly says we are taking down the guy "without a sound", we'd still be taking down the guy without a sound?
@Kinni How likely are we to take down the two guys silently, if we do it separately, rather than teaming up?

[X] No.
Stealth ahoy!

@Kinni How skilled in Cold Reading would you say Sherlock was? Because it's kinda hard to tell what we can and can't do with it, so thinking of using the famous Sherlock Scan as a measuring stick.

The kind of bullshit he was capable of definitely deserves a twenty. And even the limit of human capacity doesn't mean the same thing as perfect.

I actually have a lot of problems about how Sherlock's skills are portrayed, but let's not get into that, let's just say that to be able to do things on his level, she would have to be at 20 in Cold Reading.

Communicating the plan to Clara wasn't difficult at all. The group had previously decided on a few simple gestures to allow orders to be passed without the need for words. And so, you took a piece of cloth from your pocket while Clara took out her knife. And then you both moved at the same time.

In a single, smooth motion, you wrapped the piece of cloth around the mouth of the man, muzzling him, and Clara put a knife to his back and whispered "Don't move."

She then brought his hands behind his back and put him in handcuffs. You followed by tying the piece of cloth so it would remain steady and forcing him to the ground, upon which Clara bound his legs together. The entire operation had been completed without a hitch.

Without a word, you two pounced on the man in the couch, managing to subdue him with just as much trouble as you had with the first one, that is to say, none. Then you pulled the two to a corner of the room, getting them out of sight.

That done, you proceeded to put on your gang masks, since scamming wouldn't really be useful from that point onwards. And seeing the empty room, you thought of asking the other two members of the team to come, even though that would alert the gang members inside that something was wrong, but eventually you decided to keep following the plan.

Of course, now you needed to decide what should be your next actions. There were still four gang members inside the house, so to deal with them you decided to:

[] Remain on the same room and attract the other enemies by making noises.
[] You and Clara shall move on together...
-[] To the basement. It's the likely location of the drug lab, so it's almost certain to contain one or two enemies.
-[] To the west wing. It's the place with a kitchen, so people should go there relatively often.
-[] To the east wing. It's the place with a bathroom, so people should go there relatively often.
-[] To the second floor. It's the place with bedrooms, where people would likely go to rest.
[] You and Clara shall split up...
-[] Write-In your specific movements.
[] Something else? Write-in.

You know, I more or less ignored it before, but the more I think of it, the earlier comparison someone made to us being a demon isn't that inaccurate. Especially for anyone who knew who we were two months ago, and such know we weren't always like this.
In those two months, we have became the greatest liar in the world, creating a literal disconnect between our thoughts and our actions. We've got no physical tells we don't want, and could murder our family without the slightest twitch of the smile on our face, no matter what we might feel on the inside.
Speaking of what we feel, we've gained extraordinary control over our own mind. Not only are we approaching enlightenment via meditation with the complete understanding of self and iron will one would expect of Lvl 20 Meditation, we've also gained great skill at manually altering our own mind into whatever we deem fit. We can erase memories, implant false memories, disable and mess around with our senses (we know we can turn off pain, odds are we can cause hallucinations and synesthesia if we want), and make ourselves believe whatever we want ourselves believe.
And then there's our fighting skill. We could take down an entire medieval army on our own, and know instinctively what the best way to hurt anything is.

Lowkey, I'm kind of ready for Iara to get a gun.

The main thing is, guns are kinda super lethal and super noisy. There just aren't many situations yet where using a gun would be smart move, as it would not only kill someone and draw far more attention then knocking them out would, but the resultant bang would ALSO attract a lot of attention.

So we need some silent, high skill weapon that works at range. Batarang? Actually we could likely work wonders with a bow and arrow. They are not even illegal in most places. Still if we can get a silent gun it is likely to be better. In that it is not as big, easy to hide and we can carry more ammo.

The gun I linked has a silencer, your point is kind of invalid. Plus, Inscrutiabae can make us a silent, none lethal gun.

And if we need the bow and arrow to be non-lethal, we can just put boxing gloves on our arrows. Flawless plan.

But slighly more seriously, I was thinking of us trying to pick up a Throwing Weapons type skill at some point.

Silencers are a misnomer. They should be called Not-Quite-As-Loud-eners.

As for Inscruitable, who knows if she can, and if she does that makes us completely reliant on her for continued usage of said gun. Plus, it's still lethal.
