A Game of Supers (The Gamer/Original Superhero Setting)

It's actually the dogs. Guard dogs barking loudly as they attack are enough of an alarm.

And you could definitely train strategies against dogs, but it wouldn't solve the main problem.

Well if you can't shut off an alarm of you try and get people to ignore it. We could have people annynoing the dogs over the course of the week before the break in.

why don't you give the option to learn science and physics
If I had to guess, it'd be because those are too theoretical and abstract to count as a skill. Physics isn't a thing you do after all.

Or, maybe it is something we can learn, and like the half a million other skills in existence we just gotta do a write-in. All we know for certain is that what we are doing in school is not netting us any skills.

would crafting even have a limit
Don't see why it wouldn't. Humans can only physically be so good at something after all. Not to mention the limitations of the skill itself, that if we transcend those limits we are technically not even really doing the original thing anymore, either enhancing it with some other thing or doing something completely new.
Example, Origami. We can reach level 20 Origami, and do rather insane things by folding paper, but we are still just folding paper, and are rather thoroughly limited in what we can do by folding paper till we learn other skills to use along-side the paper folding aspect.

i would like to see mental Discipline at max because i think that it will make her a psychic
Eh, maybe, but I doubt it. I'd think it's more likely to let her treat her brain like a computer. That seems like the logical conclusion of a skill that allows for easier memorization mental sorting of information.

See: Superhuman verse.
Superhumans are Superhumans, not humans. We haven't gotten any indication that every single human has the innate potential for awesomeness, that you just have to train into being.
If you think about it thats the whole point of the essence also meditation should be for magic
Not really. Essence means we've reached the limit. There isn't anything more about it we could understand, we understand the very Essence.

Magic might be related to being a psychic.

A Quality of Life skill we should look into picking up at some point is Cooking. Life is so much nicer when you can make great tasting food out of cheap and easy to find ingredients. Iara is putting so much work into becoming Batman 2.0, she deserves some skills she can just enjoy, even if they aren't super useful.

It would be nice to be able to go home and know that you can make yourself better food then money can buy.

so i don't know if its a thing you'd allow, but you've allowed some weird things but how about the MIND OVER MATTER bs from crocodile dundee,
i mean, we've already got a knoife.

Cooking seems like it'd be more fun, and actually marginally useful. While we might be able to ink utility out of Origami, it'd wouldn't be as easily done as with Cooking, and Cooking leads to more fluff which is good for stories that are somewhat short on it.
