A Fool's Study into Witchcraft [Little Witch Academia X Persona]

No, the joke here is that Basilisk gets conflated with Cockatrice all the time in RPG. Basically the backstory is, all the Basilisk evolved(or devolved?) into Cockatrice and became extinct.

This is also based on the Harry Potter Basilisk even though it looks like SMT Python.
oof. and when i said "missing some context", i had meant i had no clue what that supposed boss you were (seemingly totally justified in) ranting about.

I am referencing how if you gamify this chapter, you will have a boss that resists everything but Electric. Automatically sets up Tetrakarn every turn and mass inflicts Rage while increasing your attack/lower your defense with taunt, and basically make you kill yourself with one hit if you fall for it.

o h . yeah that would be absolute bullshit.

o h . yeah that would be absolute bullshit.

Ah, the beauty here is, because that's the thought of an inexperienced player.

This fight is also a total joke because you can bring Null Rage and make everything the boss did complete worthlessly. Angra's also here spamming Salvation, FULLY HEALING YOU while Akko has Argus Sniper that ignores Tetrakarn.

See? No bosses are actually BS as long as I give proper balancing and the players aren't gaming journalists.

that is until you realize if you put it in early game or even some middle game you arent going to have reliable methods of dealing damage. sure, you might have 2 or 3 thunder users, maybe a ailment spammer, but youll run out of mp healies and rev items eventually.

"Oh no! What a pitch! He saved his trump card for last! I can't watch! Can he realize it fast enough to hit it!?"

PON
Hundreds of cheering audiences exploded in an uproar. The batter had managed to do the impossible. IT WAS A LEGENDARY HOME RUN!
It's those bear arms!!!
However, things were starting to get a little... chaotic. There were angry gamblers for sure, but Akko began to see unrelated people joining the angry mob… Housewives, office ladies, even a young child. The audience rapidly began to resemble an army of zombies. If zombies liked cursing out sports events and throwing garbage instead of eating brains.

"W-What's going on?!" Akko exclaimed, "Look, I know you guys are angry, but please! Control yourselves! Where's the security—"

Once Akko realized building security had joined in, she knew this was no normal dissatisfaction.
This reminds me of how my group's Persona ttrpg campaign started.
"Oh… right. I was angry… Didn't the Bear win…?

To Akko's horror, her expression was distorted and returned to fury.

"HOW DARE THEY"
Oh no, it is an auto-effect.
"Oni, Yaksini, Berserker, and Yomotsu-Shikome…" Akko labeled. "Fought a lot of them before… but this is way too many!"

"Akko… wasn't the dome sold out?" Aradia asked as realization set in; even her composure was rapidly slipping. "...Wasn't the capacity over 57,000?"

Both Persona and User screamed as the unending sea of chaos attacked.
This is not Persona Strikers!!!
"What are you doing here!?" Aradia exclaimed. Her tone carried an emotion Akko had never heard from her before. "Angra Mainyu!"
Angry Mango has arrived!
"WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU ALL OF A SUDDEN?!"
Akko's loud outburst silenced everyone. "PEOPLE ARE BEING HURT OVER THERE!" She pointed in the direction of the Tokyo Dome and shouted harshly. "Aradia, don't you dare say this again! This is totally our business, and we are seeing it through!"
"I-I don't understand what you are trying to get at," Akko replied, outright mad now. "If you are trying to say I shouldn't help save those people, then forget it! Who cares if I get rewarded or not?! THEIR LIVES ARE MORE IMPORTANT!"
That's our Akko, hero in the making.
Sounds resembling computer beeps straight out of an old video game rang out as the red light dampened. What was once thought of as a crimson sphere of madness and rage, was in actuality, a cluster consisting of hundreds of dark cubes no bigger than Akko's palm. They all had one face with a crimson square, looking almost as if it was a magical rune.
...Croix Meridies, is that you?
"WHA—" Too busy charging his spell, he was caught off guard as the massively empowered Shadow Selves buried him under an avalanche of bodies.
Wanna re-think what you said about needing help?
When the smoke cleared, what remained in the crater was a cluster of cubes. Compared to the massive number from before, barely a third of them survived the onslaught. Static electricity danced all over their cracked shells as they twitched like glitching game objects. An emotionless, artificial voice echoed:

"DAMAGE EXCEEDS CRITICAL LEVEL..."

"PRIORITIZE PRESERVATION OF BLACK BOX DATA…"
Definitely Croix. This is bad.

AuthorNCS: I don't goddamn understand baseball... or any sporting event in that matter. I've only ever read 2 baseball manga and one of them is a Doraemon spinoff where everyone in it cheats with gadgets, and it's much more fun than the actual sport.

But from what I understand of the Japanese baseball scene, all the teams are like what? Prefectures funded or something? So those hotblooded shonen mangas where some no-named team from the backwater areas kill their way to the super league was probably impossible. So suspend your disbelieve for the Bear I guess, baseball nerds.

This was meant to be a lore bomb and create speculations... but reception's been disappointing, oh well. My reader base hates giving me dopamine.

I actually rewrote this like 3 times. Angra Mainyu was too nice to Akko originally and kinda became her teddy bear of evil (ahm...comparable to the cringe version of Ryu from Ninja Gaiden 3), which makes no sense. Even now I still am not that satisfied with it, so don't be surprised if I come back a few months later and rephase the entire thing.

AM's current personality is inspired by Raven of Guilty Gear (at least on the same wavelength as him).

Artist741: I was so hyped about being able to draw Angra Mainyu! I have to cut down some details to make him fit into LWA's style but he's really is the coolest demon in SMT:IF... !

(From a game where he did jack sh*t in it.)

I thought designing original N.F.S is going to be a pain... and then I realized they are all basically RWBY grimms. Like I can probably rip one out of the show, recolor it, and redrew the skull, and no one can tell the difference lol.

Just what are you doing behind the scene, Ursula's ex-grilfriend?

AuthorNCS: Our new Patreon, tinomartino, went out of their way to write a very nice speculation post on the story. They don't feel like making a forum or Tv Tropes account so they told me to just post it here.

I like the ego boost so please excuse me.

Recently I have been thinking about the appearance and symbolism of the Team Dipper's members' Shadow Selves.

Shadow Sucy: she looks like an eleven-year-old Sucy, and is much more open than her Real Self about her feelings and desires; at the moment, we don't know much about her past, other than that she lived in an orphanage overflowing with children who couldn't stand her, and that she hated them back, and that she had a strong relationship with Ramzan, her guardian. At one point, Sucy decided to live on her own, between the ages of 11 and 12, exploring the world in search of poisons to sell to the highest bidder, but I guess all that loneliness and constant dangers soured her further; by the age of 12, she began to believe that she didn't need friendship, even though deep down she secretly longed for it.

Shadow Diana: She looks like a six-year-old Diana, and this represents the innocence and wonder that Diana, at that age, felt when she saw Shiny Chariot's show. Shortly thereafter however, Diana found herself dealing with the mysterious loss of her magical powers, the death of her mother, the wickedness of her aunt, and the taunts of her peers about her love of Chariot magic, which led Diana to denigrate the performer to keep up appearances, and to focus exclusively in the study, thus giving up her childhood, and causing her Shadow Self to become corrupted, and become what Diana fears most: a corrupt and evil version of her noble-spirit ancestor Beatrix, who looks eerily like her aunt.

Shadow Chariot: She looks like Shiny Chariot at 18, at the height of her career as a performer. She obviously was very happy when her performances brought joy and happiness to the audience, but over time she lost their interest, and was later deceived by Croix, unknowingly stealing the magical potential of her audience during her show in Japan; then her appeal in her last shows was practically meager, and in her anger and discomfort, she inadvertently damaged the Moon and lost the Shiny Rod. She has since become a meek and regretful woman, a pitiful image compared to the sunny and lively self of 10 years earlier.

Shadow Amanda: She looks like an 11-year-old Amanda, the age when her beloved grandmother was still alive and by her side, and was free to have fun and explore the world with her. However, her grandma died ignored by the rest of her family, except Amanda, who found herself entangled in the power games of the O'Neill family, trying in every way not to be their puppet, but at the same time becoming a cynical, opportunistic and selfish girl, masking at the same time, with bold and defiant behavior, her frustration and sadness.

Put simply: their Shadow Selves' appearance represents the last moment they were truly happy and/or hopeful, before falling victim to cynicism and/or depression.

Accepting their Shadow Selves and earning their Personas also means recovering that lost innocence and living more peacefully and happily.

Huh, that does seem to hold water. Now lets see if the rest of the team follows the same formula.

Interesting i wonder for the others any theories people. Mmmmmm i just have a idea for lotte persona look at least in my opinion

Outside of Andrew's school... no?

If they try that anyway, then those mob are basically suicidal. Akko's team is so powerful that they are asking for the biggest hospital bill possible.
I imagine Akko and the team standing atop a mountain of defeated boys after that, with all of them moaning from the beating they got and Akko wondering how they got in this situation, and everyone else having no idea how that happened.

EDITED TO SOUND LESS LEWD

Nah, that's a complete waste of their time. The correct scenario is:

Mob witchhunts for moronic reasons > Aradia automatically comes out > Cast Evil Smile > GG no re

Or Sucy throws down a testube and marvels at the spectacle of utter idoitcy.

it would appear that they have been met with inexplicable Doom.

Ahhh ok that kinda sad to see them react or a option be solo each one experience a witch hunt but ok i guess.

Mmmmm here my guess to who awoken next: Lotte sinse she is the only one left of the original trio to not get a persona and it look like she next sinse they really need a nav. I don't know what persona she may get but im gonna put three possible suspects: Thoth Egyptian god of magic and knowledge, one of the fates from norse mythology or saint martha (why no idea)

Those are my guesses you can tell me if in even close to what possible mythology she be of my two guesses related to the divine.

Another question: at the moment what persona those akko have? I know arabia, mermaids and silky but i know im forgetting ones.

Good night

Someone please PM him the link to TV tropes...

Note: if you people don't have anything important to ask, please don't randomly nerco the thread. The update's gonna be slow these days and it's just wasting people's time.

LWA wiki is pathetic.

This is basically: "Yeah, we are so bored of waiting for another LWA thing that we alarm people about a nerd rage video and LWA fanfiction and pretend they are official news."

We understand their pain... but this is pathetic and we will mock it.

=====================

Artist741: Anyway, NPC pack time:

They are just his cells pretending to be insects.
Yes, that super cursed locus inflicts Charm.

1/3 Akko's best friends
1/3 Akko's loan sharks
1/3 Unfunny comedians

Special thanks to that one Izakaya that operates in an isekai.
SMT Nekomata will never wear pants.
