Even though the official period for the free upgrade from 7 to 10 ended a few years ago on paper, the part of Microsoft's servers that handles the free upgrades is actually still fully functional, so you can totally still do that (provided your computer hardware is compatible and you don't have any software you need that's incompatible with 10).

Okay then it's not Denuvo's fault and the game is literally locked to Windows 10... *Deletes everything and refunds Steam version* Screw me... I will just buy it on SWITCH next time.

System specs on Steam says that you need either Windows 8.1 or Win10.
 
With Win 7 being so old and no longer being supported, it is no surprise that game developers stop making their games compatible with it. No matter how good it was.

I know, thanks to P5/P5R, that as long as the Shadows think fake firearms are true loaded ones, such 'weapons' will behave as if they were real and will always be loaded at every fight.

Was I stupid or something? Did I completely forgot that was a thing in P5 or was that added in Royal to explain the reloading and I skipped reading it somehow?! What the heck?!

The "Shadow's belief is the reason that is reloading your guns" part? Because I am not asking about the quality of life game machinic.

I need to confirm is that a canon thing to the Cognitve World written in Royal and I just miss remembered, rather than some headcanon BS some guy on Reddit made it up.

Yeah... I definitely botton mushed through it because P5 Royal is like the third, forth playthough of P5 lol and I was tired of the beginning hour.

I don't know... The reload thing made sense, however it does feel like an over explaination on the writer's part because in OG P5 I just assumed the running out of ammo thing is a gameplay limit to stop you from abusing Gun weakness, and in story the thieves always bring extra ammo.

This entire thing started because the person was basicially asking "okay, if we are adding Royal things and this is how it goes there... then does it work with the Mana Battaries? Can the girls just get infinate spell to abuse because the Shadows don't know any better?"

There's the thing, AFsiW actually have the Mana Battary as a battle machinic. Because all the witches but Akko can use them as extra elemental attacks to down Shadows. With infinite gun it's limited to Gun weak enemies, but infinite free elemental spells?! Are you crazy!? That's multiple All-Out Attack every encounter!

That's my response. No refilling Mana Battaries because free elemental/special attacks every battle will be extremely broken. Even if Cognitive World can allow it. Think of it as an Expert Mode limitation or whatever, but just no.

(Beside, it adds to the degrading magical world thing since why the hell Witches have to recharge from a source instead of truly you know... Make magic from their heart?🤔 Something something future plot development something something... )

Balance wise that makes sense, however my story suggestion, the public's perception of wizards/witches have shifted from all-powerful magic-slingers of doom to burst DPS sprayers due to D&D and other TTRPG's tendancy to lean into Vancian Magic; thus making it to where shadows are convinced that the wizard should be running out of magic "aaaaany time now."

Pretty cool. It's always nice to see stuff getting updated, especially artwork/designs. Will be waiting for the next chapter.
