We don't really know anything about the Yeerks in-character, much less that they're called Yeerks. From our perspective, though, they're a race of people being persecuted for the crime of existing, trying to hide something they need to live so their oppressors can't destroy it.

There may be sketchy details we pick up after the fact, but from an outsider's perspective, we're looking at the actions of desparate people trying to prevent their own genocide.

I say, we check to make sure our family is all right, and then catch them up to speed with what happened. They might be worried about us, and we'd definitely be concerned about the alien species, whether or not we noticed anything off.

Also, for our Tamaranean transformation, have we noticed any traits besides superstrength, flight, and a surfer dude vibe?

I'm still thinking of words we could use for its name, and I'm thinking we could use words connected to its flight ability, or free-spirited nature. Freeflight, Flightfall, Volantora (volantes + Japanese word for tiger), Skyburst...

The latter two look like good names, but what are your guys' thoughts?

Not seeing many people trying to come up with names for our Tamaranean form. But then again everyone is still trying to get over the shock of unknowingly helping the Yerks, so I can see why.

Pretty much.

I mean, the GM's reason for Ben choosing to help makes perfect sense, but it's still a pretty Yikes outcome.

It likely isn't the last we'll see of the Yeerks though, so at the very least we can regroup and learn from the experience.
