Did you guys discuss about what our plans are for the spirit fox? We gonna try diplomacy, defeat it and ritual bond it to us/bro or try to ally with the person chasing it?
Personally I rather if we picked diplomacy or find out whose chasing it. We already have Yato so I don't think we can bond with it and it's not a kitsune but a kumiho? If it was a typical kitsune which are natural tricksters than she would have fit well we with Yamato's intellectual/cunning mind set.
As for the one chasing it I'm just curious, but either way now that we have more apps I think it best we start working on our speech skills to gain more allies.

Quick question. You mentioned that Education would scale up, somewhere around Week 10. What exactly are the requirements for Hayato's martial arts? Aka our expected skill level in order to keep our scholarship?

Don't wanna give too much away but, around Week 14 they'll start talking about weeding people out for the Competitions.
If you guys wanna be considered for it, get at least one Mundane Martial art to 45 or Higher.
If it's just about keeping the Scholarship, just stay in the Club. You don't even have to enter the Competitions.
On the other hand, there's a hidden tournament (cause it's Shounen of course there is). The only thing I'll tell you guys about that is: Your Sensei is there to listen to you.
....Ok, you know that sounds weird but considering how your last visit went, it's surprising to be able to come here and not get yelled at by someone you don't know. Though you do find it slightly concerning that other students in the library actively try to avoid you. People walk over to your table, spot you, then turn away more times than you'd like.
Hmm, maybe it has something to do with your shirt like Munagi said?
Eh, not a big deal. Just focus on your studying.

Your weekend goes by in relative silence and calm. Not much happens as you go about your day. Mostly cause you spent it actually getting your shit together. With the planner you bought from the shop, you found that there was a lot of time you were wasting just doing nothing. Now, you've got a much better schedule so you can make better use of your day!
You're walking up the stairs to your dorm room and run into Yamato coming down. The two of you stop on the middle stair and stare at each other. You tilt your head in confusion, "Hey, bro. Where are you going?"
"To locate you. Follow me," he turns around and starts heading up. Still confused you follow after him and into your room. As you enter, you notice a particular scent in the air. A strange but pleasant mixture of fur, flowers, and you think oranges. Your confusion grows until you enter the living room...and stop at the sight of a five fluffy tails waving behind a girl with fox ears.
"Do not jump to conclusions, brother," Yamato reads your intentions long before you've made a move, "This is an actual Kitsune. Her name is Yameko and she was the one chasing the Kumiho."
"Her name is Hiroko," Yameko speaks with a dignified voice that is much older than her appearance would suggest. She bows in greeting, the chair squeaking beneath her movements, "And it is a pleasure to meet you, Hayato-san. Your brother has informed me on the current situation."
You look between the two of them as your bro sits down right across from her. You settle your gaze on your brother, "So, how'd this happen?"
"After we finished the video, and Munagi attempted to goad me into another rematch, I used my remaining time to follow up on your story. I began searching the area where you encountered the Kumiho and began scanning the for clues."
"Which is when he met me," Yameko explains as you sit down next to your brother. She sends a smile his way while one of her tails moves to cover her mouth, ears twitching to and fro, "I was impressed at how he managed to see through my disguise. Yamato-san is quite attentive."
"It was a simple deduction. There are only four individuals who be in that area for anything other than transit, sightseeing, or other recreational activities. My brother and I are two, the Kumiho, Hiroko, is a third. The only remaining person is whoever was chasing after Hiroko and left when she ran into my brother. You searching around the dark alleyway between the dorms is what gave you away."
You've grown used to your brother's ability to figure stuff out from the smallest amount of information, but that doesn't mean you can't be surprised by it. Your mouth hangs open as your mind tries to catch up with what he said. Eventually you shake your head and turn to your "guest", "Ok. So, why were you chasing the Kumi-"

One of her eyes twitches making you stop. You correct yourself, "Sorry, Hiroko. Can you explain what's going on?"
Her eye calms down as her tail falls to reveal lips formed into a frown. She sighed before shaking her head, "Hiroko is my responsibility. I was trying to help her become human. But...we were separated and her baser urges began to take hold. I don't know if she's fed on anyone yet, but I need to stop her."
"Her plan is to challenge her alone while Hiroko is still weak. But when she tried to corner her, Hiroko ran into you. Yameko didn't want to put your life at risk so she retreated," Yamato explains, "After I met her and explained our side, she came here to promise us she'll handle Hiroko by herself, and offer us her protection."
"A foolish plan," Yato suddenly chimes in, his voice echoing through the room, "Between the two Foxes, the Kumiho is much more powerful and dangerous. Her kind are both tricksters and murderers. If she faced her alone, she'd be slaughtered within moments."
Yameko, completely nonplussed by Yato's surprise appearance, simply frowns while her ears jerk to the side, "I appreciate your concern, Spirit, but I request you not insult my pride as a Kitsune by underestimating my abilities."
"And I request you do not insult my pride as a warrior for suggesting my assessment is incorrect. When we met the Kumiho, my Lord and I were close enough to feel her power. Even if she is weak, she is still a threat. You would be crushed."
"Oh?" another tail moves to hide her mouth as she continues, "Are you admitting that Hiroko is strong enough to give you pause? Perhaps it is not my safety you worry for, 'warrior', but your own?"
Yato is silent for a moment before he says, "I request permission to punish the Fox for insulting my honor as a warrior my Lords."
"Uh, no," you speak quickly while turning to your brother, "What do you think?"
"While her decision is understandable, it is not logical," he leans forward, steepling his fingers together while staring down Yameko, "No matter how confident you may be, battles are dangerous and unpredictable. Not to mention our lives are at stake as well. If you fail, Hiroko will come for us next. We have a higher probability of survival if we combine our efforts to stop her actions."
Yameko moves her tail away, lips held tightly together while her eyes stare into your brother's, "And what, exactly would you accomplish by helping me? I can understand your brother. The warrior he's bonded with would give him a chance against Hiroko. But what of you? Your intellect is impressive, but you are still mortal."
"Indeed, which is where the next part of my suggestion comes in," he doesn't hesitate as he says the next words, "Bond with me."
"What?" Yameko replies, her ears and tails all swiveling to focuses only on Yamato. Your bro doesn't back down, but you see him glance at you out of the corner of his eyes. A silent understanding passes between you, telling you that he's asking for your help convincing her.
[] If he wants your help, he's got it. You'll back him up with emotional appeal while he uses logic.
[] And, as much as it pains you, you've got to decline. You have confidence in your bro. He's got this in the bag.
