I was thinking to decrease the stamina training so that nothing else gets affected as much.

@BookMouse You sure you want to use our favor just because Tavish is a Shirou-expy? He is barely an acquaintance which we promised to teach a little bit (ignoring the fact that he broke into our house to steal magic books) and he will be training with us a little bit with our legal teacher.

I agree that while it is not the BEST choice to use our favor on Tavish in the short-term (that's why I tried to do the Write-in option of trading the blood and heart) it does give us plenty of options in the future, with a travelling companion, someone to watch our backs, etc., and it is a good idea to get that companion trained up.
Plus, I don't think it's worth it to alienate Cervitou, and there is a non-zero chance that he might take back his offer.

Cervitou is not the best to train Tavish (since he is a Black Mage) , Yes , we will get him trained up but with us and a legal magic teacher which is more logical, and considering our mother when she discovers Tavish frequently visit Cervitou she might want us to severe our relationship with him.
I don't think he will take back his offer, too cheap in my mind, he said we can ask for anything so he can repay us, and even if he doesn't want to we can ask for another thing, trying won't hurt.
Well, yeah, I would be willing to change the vote for something more beneficial for us, and something that doesn't immediately undo all the progress that we just had in making Cervitou an ally.

Also, Cervitou is capable in a lot of magical schools. He's what Nasuverse heads would call a "first-rate magus."
Also, being a black mage doesn't mean one can't be a skilled mage in anything but evil stuff. A black mage is just a label for a mage who practices magic that is seen as morally corrupt, or that taints the soul, mind, or body in certain ways, or a mage who is also an infernalist (worships, works, partners with, or bargains their soul/body/mind to demons.)

Cervitou is already willing to sell a quarter of his soul for us so don't worry about him not wanting to be an ally anymore.
Currently the ritual is a the most beneficial for us than giving away a favor for barely an acquaintance just because we know his alternate in another universe.

Leona already guaranteed Tavish will be trained by us (canon omake), her discovering we are sending our new "friend" to the ex-black mage for training will appear as us being lazy.
Cervitou's social skills also aren't the best around (I assume it extend to teaching as well) You can be good at magic but not the best at teaching it.

I don't think there is "Draconic Magic" , we will have a huge boost to our Stats and Magical Capabilities, which means a boost to everything but our skills, this is passing a huge opportunity just for Tavish.

You know, in many fantasy universes dragons have a stronger manipulation of elements, strengthen their attacks through magic, etc.
Then I don't think I'll change my vote, since this will probably hamper our ability to restore Excalibur, as the factions who have that information, are likely the ones who would take offense to our soul-eating.

Wich will be masked by our already existing curse, that is like stripping naked and jump in a pool of mud, we are already heavily tainted, as for Draconic Magic wait for the QM's answer.

No need to make it worse though, and if ever in the future we DO break our curse, a stain willingly made is much harder to brush off.

They just use normal spells but happen to become talented at them over time.
Actually, no. Cervitou's barrier prevents the evil from leaking out. Think of the curse as a stream of mud threatening to fully corrode an otherwise perfect, blue pond. Cervitou's built a dam to protect the pond, but the mud will eventually leak out and the barrier will fall. It is but a matter of time. Especially after the crystal ball incident.
Anyway, no aura reading can pick up this brown, ugly taint of mud deep within the pond, sealed away... yet.
