@Space Jawa If you add the ability for the giant bee to vomit forth a swarm of small bees as spies, repair bots, or to poison people while the giant bee serves as a distraction - or, alternately, to shoot a bunch of missiles that look like a bunch of bees - I'll help you make it.
@Rotekian I'm trying to buy the mine site so I can turn it into a farm/eco restoration project >.< but it costs. How has the Junkyard not finished yet? I thought y'all were going to do it???
As awesome (and fascinating) as it would be, the project right now is too big and relies upon at least upgraded versions of starting inventions.
For now I'll just split this into smaller projects/ideas.
1)Inter-dimensional Spider Caller
2)SpiderJerry RGA Ray mutated hybrids
3)Inter-dimensional Shadow Gate
4)Integrated Telepathic Control Circuit (we can't assume they'll be willing to serve us)
or Area-Based Telepathic Control
5)Mounting that on appropriate machine (or perhaps a Pokeball-launcher?)

@Umi-san I can try a variant, though I'm not looking to make a large combat unit here, I'm looking for something smaller. Would it be acceptable if the mouth instead was able to vomit up stuff like flames or toxins, or if it was able to carry bee-shaped micro-missiles?
Tentative vote for the turn...
EXECUTIVE DECISION: Will M.A.D. assist SASRI in recovering their captured member?
[] Yes
[] Design a blueprint - "Buzzkill"
-[] A flying combat and surveilance robot that resembles a giant, red metal bee. Incorporating flight from a combination of high-tech 'wings' and miniature repulsorlift technology, the Buzzkill features advanced sensor and targeting systems for locating and locking onto targets. For combat, the Buzzkill includes a 'stinger' that, while by default is loaded with a buster pistol, can be swapped out for other small-scale weapons options, as well as four retractable high-speed, diamond-tipped buzzsaws sshould it be required to fight in melee combat (two hidden in the chest, one in the mouth, one in the 'stinger'). Comes complete with a self-destruct system for creating distractions, preventing capture by enemy forces, or other emergencies.
[] (special) Commit forces to SASRI raid
-[] Assist with Arial Support and Surveillance from the Eggmobile
--[] If successfully designed, bring along Buzzkill unit to assist with Air Support
--[] Bring along all Motobugs to assist with Ground Support
That's about as good as I got right now; I want to include more details and numbers but I'm not sure on stats or if the Forging Furnace allows production of items as a free action (or if you can produce those items but the first few are free depending on how many you have) or even if Motobugs would be worth producing to bring on the raid in the first place (hopefully we'll get an updated list on stats before turn is locked so I know that kind of stuff).
Also not 100% sure if the Raid is a free 'third' action or if I'd have to contribute one of my two action to it in order to participate directly.
Also, would I be correct in assuming that I'm not allowed to try to build additional Buzzkills (if successfully designed) in time for the raid beyond the prototype?
Anyway, will be getting ready for bedness in a few minutes.
EDIT: and yes, Forging Furnaces build stuff as a free action. TBH, if you want them to make Equipment, just say they're making that type of equipment, and I or another Co-GM will figure out a balanced cost per unit.

Oh!! Sorry, it's just when I see "[large synonym] bee" I imagine like... car-sized.
Yeah, bee-shaped micro-missiles are fine. FLames and toxins sound un-beelike, but maybe the mouth could drip "honey" aka acid or something? That it could spit? Which then maybe turns into fire but otherwise just melts stuff??

I'm leaning towards this for now but if anyone has a task they want support on I'll change my actions.

Also, can anyone confirm for me if contributing to the raid direction does requires one of our two actions or if we can take part 'for free'?

At the very least, I'm assuming the Motobug isn't getting updated this turn, but while waiting for the update...
@Trondason , you asked about air drones last turn, how would you feel about helping me design an air unit this turn?

I'm open to design suggestions if anyone's got them.
Telling minions to go is a free action, going yourself is an actual action
On the topic of how no-one noticed eachother in the supernatural community, I'm thinking perhaps it isn't the veil dropping or whatever, but until 6 months ago Mad Scientists were the only supernaturals on the earth. This earth, to be specific. I'm thinking that a dozen or so earths might have gotten smushed together, each earth having it's own supernatural community operating in secrecy.
@I just write Is it to much to ask to get price tags on everything? Cause it's a bit hard to figure out hwo to most efficently go about stuff without knowing how much money stuff will cost. Example, would it be more cost effective to jam mercenaries into those suits, or make a bunch of robots? The Mercs themselves will probably be free if we don't feel like paying them and use them as lab rats (and possibly get a bad rap in the merc buisness), but those suits and guns we'd be giving them cost money.
And something really useful to know, how expensive are those forges? Half as much as a Replicator apparently, but no price tag on either.
Also, two questions about my Capsules. 1) Is the limiter that they can only be applied to small things something permanent (part of it being a painful success) or something that can be fixed with more science? 2)It makes it sound like that making something into a capsule costs money. Is that so (and if so, how much), or am I reading that wrong and we can now make everything small enough into capsule?

I think this is probably a question a lot of people are waiting for an answer on; I know I'm still waiting on my basic starting tech to get listed (and the character roster is still out of date, too, anyone who's joined after Umi-San isn't on there). We've even got my basic Repulsor Flight Tech that's presently absent.
I would honestly just suggest waiting. Most of the strategizing that can be done is dependent on information that I Just Write (and co-writers) have not given us and probably have not figured out yet.
