Actually, you are a little below the regular age bracket right now. People usually only start watching girls properly at around age 12 and until they turn 18.
Which... again... is something I wanted to bring up in the next chapter because mentioning it in this one would have destroyed the flow.

So we're probably not as watched, but people just probably keep an eye on girls in general as well, just ramping up the paranoia/how closely they pay attention between 12 and 18.

Naron I know you enough that I mostly think about worst case, because you often enough get me with such things. (More so, because i dont know more than the other players here.)
I dont think that training or figuring out about our mind thing is bad. But I prefer this in that order more. But I remember the situation from the prologue. That makes me worry. (If I worry to much then sorry for that, but I will go with that right after the start and therefore for now.)

Again, the first couple of times it happens we will be able to handwave it. It's only if it becomes a pattern we'll have to worry about it. I mean, if a girl suddenly bursts out in laughter, you probably don't go 'Burn the Witch!' on her straight away. You'd think she remembered something funny. It happens.

We'll need to be careful, yes. But this, here and now, is perfectly fine.

Except for it won't stop with just bursting out in laughter. That was merely one example of many that could end up occuring. The problem with that being that there are enough that a "couple" could happen a few dozen times a week.
 
By the way, most of you have no EXP Plan ready. I usually go with whichever plan has the most votes; if you want to save the EXP, you have to vote for it.

Just saying that too much paranoia can get you killed as much as a lack of caution.
If you are thinking worst case however...

[] Spend time with your mother, you feel bad after giving her that scare earlier
-> You will obviously make a mistake and she will be on you at once, calling down the military the moment she has the slightest suspicion.

[] Read your schoolbooks and see if you can find some clues on how to deal with your situation
-> This is highly suspicious because no child studies by themselves; go to the above reaction

[] Stay in your room and figure out how this mind-thing works
-> You are spending time all by yourself for some inexplicable reason, so you are obviously Magical Girls. See above.

[] Play with Ludger
->The dog is in on it. Burn the witch and her little dog, too!

[] Go play outside
-[] Actually play
-->You are just waiting for a moment to run off and train your magic, the soldiers will know

-->Someone will inevitably see you and you are done for

Those are some pretty nifty worse cases. And makes me feel better, cause my paranoia seems to at least be grounded in reality.

If we want to be prepared for when shit hits the fan, we should be saving up for the Damage reduction and Health increase upgrades.
 
And our Heal is around 50-70% of our max health. Therefore it is enough ... for now.

Edit: Additionally, I am surprised how no one commented on the fact that your dog can take and do more damage than you.
(Not counting spells, that is)
