Yknow I forgot about the Moon Presence's pre-existing wounds until now. Was it keeping Gherman on as a bodyguard so it didn't have to defend itself in this wounded state?

Or maybe it just always has its ribs sticking out? I mean, I'm pretty sure if we're judging it by human standards, having tentacles for a face sounds pretty unhealthy too.
Or it's trying to do the 'this is a form you are comfortable with' thing and failing miserably.

"Humans have lots of ribs, right? I forget how many, but surely they will think I am dominant if I have lots of them on proud display."

There is a reason I wanted to perform an exorcism on Gerhman. If he is our beckoner, there is a real possibility we'd die when he does.

It was the only non-lethal solution I could think of.

Oh well. Now there is his boss.

It turns out the Moon Presence is actually just the Angel of Death sent to deal with the Egyptians.

He was redeployed in another universe to deal with Yharnum, but they kinda just rolled with the rivers of blood and unending night. They even shook off the death of the firstborn pretty well...except for Oedon; he kinda went berserk when he lost Mergot.

MP was about ready to give it up and turn this place into the next Gomorrah, when Anderson showed up.

Now, he's offering the good priest a job--killing multiversal heathens that are too bizarre to be bothered by Plagues.
