I do feel it's good to remind that this creates units with equal Power, but nothing else. No other stats, and no traits. So if an enemy has a skill that boosts their power through, say, Trickery, and they rely on attacks that can only be avoided with Trickery, their clone will be much much weaker. It's great against enemies that rely on brute force though.
True, but it does give us another body to throw in a boss battle/fight on future adventures

It does involve combat traits but point.

Still. Action economy is a thing, and even outside of that for mass contests like between mooks they literally have nothing but combat power which roll wise would effectively negate the enemies troops. Which would give us a rather large advantage.

I'm worried the game's going to be less interesting should we get to that point, but we shall see.

*Looks at the distant continent, looks at Space, looks at Anti appearing out of nowhere*

...I think we'll have more than enough to deal with. Besides it's probably safe to assume that the other Kings have something similarly busted if they're a proper king in this mad world.

Doom for instance can just blow up the whole planet if he ever gets all the emeralds, and is near immortal besides.

The ark isn't as big of an issue as you'd think since we're Eggman the guy who made a cannon capable of wiping out an entire solar system. We can make an anti orbital cannon and cripple the ark and it's own doomsday cannon, we've just been swamped with other stuff we need to do.

Well sure, but strangely they seem to get more expensive the more you make them.

If one is destroyed however, that seems to reduce the price as well.
Dang, who knew creating multiple portals to the mirror dimension to extract its mirror juice (which rapidly disintegrates outside of its dimension) destabilizes the passageway? Looks like we'll need extra metal to create stabilizers to ensure the portals don't fall apart.

While on the subject of badniks. I now know what super badniks look like and i kinda know the ballpark for basics. But which badniks fall into the elite catagory?

I want to ask becouse im trying to see the ballpark the tarnished Blossoms will fall in. I also kinda want Sage or Belle to be the ones to make them. Both for crit potential and becouse belle and rusty are friends and safe will be living rent free in rusties head with an upgrade

Mecha "M" Robotnik VS Rusty Rose

After moving some Badniks around, i have increased the bonus for the Rescue of Sleet and Dingo by so much, that we could send Mecha "M" Robotnik with the Darc Egg Robot and have the same odds of success as Rusty Rose. I made a poll in Discord to decide who to send, but i also want the opinion of the people from the thread.

Rusty Rose, she would have the highest bonus and would not need to take the Darc Egg Robot with her, if she goes Thunderbolt will distract Omega with the Darc Egg Robot and Mecha will just rest. If you want her to go use the Insightful button.

Mecha "M" Robotnik, she adds enough to succed even with a roll of 2, but only with the Darc Egg Robot, it would be her first mission, if she goes Rusty will fight Omega. If you want her to go use the Hugs button.

Thunderbolt, didn't offer this option on Discord, but she would add the same bonus as Mecha with the Darc Egg Robot, so she is technically an option too, if she goes, Rusty will fight Omega and Mecha will just rest. If, for some reason, you want her to go use the Funny button.

Huh, with all the potential Brain upgrades Rusty Rose can get, I can see Blossoms being hybrid bodyguard/field reaserch assistants.

They might be times when we want to research something that we are unwilling or unable to move into lab (Valkyrur ruins for example?), and Blossoms would be perfect badniks to assign to that.

Finally, caught up to the thread
It seems like we're at a point where we would have to try and actively sabotage ourselves if we wanted to fail

...Can't say I understand why we'd send Mecha so soon after she woke up (We should talk to our daughter should't we?), but I can see the logic in sending Thunderbolt.

Putting Ms. 'HAIL EGGMAN!' on TV ought to get our minions attention, even if we don't achieve that with the tournament.

There was a theory about them scaling to Rusty's own upgrades...unconfirmed but having a bunch of reasearch battle bots would be great.

Now now it could also be our enemies sabetoging us, but we are in a pretty good position yes.

Though what exactly would we fail at?

Tarnished blossoms as field researchers sounds very fun

Ragcoin Mining Scheme???

We are making our first ragnite mine, but we have to decide where. Due to how the Egg Golem works, if it gives the bonus to the mine it would take 14 from the Badnik cap of 20, reducing our bonus by 60, but there is another option.

Build the Ragnite Mine in the Egg City, we would have a full bonus of +112, crit with a 8 and double crit with a 68, with this option the Mine would be built in our territory. If you want this option, you can vote for it with the Informative button.

Build the Ragnite Mine in our Hidden Base, we would have a full bonus of +172, double crit with a 8 and triple crit with a 68, with this option the Mine would be built in the Restoration territory, if they find the Hidden Base we would lose the Base and the Mine. If you want this option, you can vote for it with the Insightful button.

The explained, superior, defended, enhanced and oddly familiar SUPER prototype post Mark VIII featuring Egg Golem from the Sonic Adventure Saga

Ah. I forgot to mention this eariler but would giving Belle the guitar risk showing it to Sonic's siblings? That...wouldn't be ideal.

Also any chance we can take Eggman's tinker action again soon?

Ragcoin Mining Scheme???

There's a third option actually. We don't use the Egg Golem's bonus and build the Ragnite mine in the city and get a free double crit.

We lose the bonus on the Disguises and Metal upgrading but we've already throughly ensured those successes.

The best units to make them mechanically speaking would be Isara, Sage or Belle in that order (unless Egg Boss gets applied on actions with the Egg Golem). Eggman adds 52 to all of them.

Isara has 28 logistics plus 4 for 32. AND another 20 from Mechanical Valkyrie for 52. Her loyalty modifier should also go up to the 20% threshold with the Egg Road (seems to be our action for next turn), but that would only raise the modifier by 1 for 53. 105.
Crits on a 25. 10 with the Egg Golem's +15.

Sage has 38 logistics with another 7 from loyalty, for a total of 45. 97.
Crits on a 33. 18 with Egg Golem's +15.

Belle, right now, has 16 + 2 (Loyalty) + 15 (Last Name Makes Sense) for 33. Assuming finishing her personal gives her another 5 to the trait, that would go up to 38. 80.
Crits on a 50. 35 with Egg Golem's +15.
Still solid, but pretty far behind Isara and Sage.

We can also assign Egg Scientists for another +5 to each if we wanted, but I assume they'd stay in brains actions.

If we had a guaranteed crit, I'd probably take Belle doing it as my first choice. I think that potentially skews them towards non-lethal combat, which would give them a niche as a more combat capable Klagen if they don't end up being research bots.
Otherwise, no preference, since Sage can already inhabit any Badnik she wants and she's our only way to have a second Brains action while we can have two or three Logistics each turn without her.

Guitar should only become visible in case of emergency, since it'd normally be in medallion form. In which case... they will probably be more focused on the Black Arms invasion.

And I'd absolutely love to, but that's a work action. Trying to get the focus on work personal cost back down to 3.

Point. If the Black arms show up we'll have bigger problems...though doesn't Belle have the Steeple?

Fair fair...I assume that Talking to Cordie would also be a work action?

Anything, we haven't really had a big fail in a while, unless you count the depression

That was a big fail yes, albeit balanced by character devlopment.

Personally I'm quite happy that nothing has gone disasterously wrong, and am very willing to keep rigging the board to ensure that...though it should be said that we haven't had anyone really trying to stop us yet.

And contested rolls are...risky.

Personally I'd prefer we not use the Golem and put the mine in the City. We get all the benefits for little cost. Please vote Insightful on this if you agree.

Also difer would you be willing to swap some ring bots into the plan?

I could change 2 of the Quizon for 2 Eggmelets, but we don't know how much metal they cost.

Fair enough.

And is the Golem really that vital? It's only going to take effect on two actions and those will be fine on their own. And yes I am saying this because I think we can get more out of the mine without the Golem in play.
