I'm dismayed by the blatantly suboptimal plays here :V We must hunt the Living Forge, drain it of all it's blood, and then make sure to safely and responsibly dispose of the rest of such a potent spirit beast's remains using the Iron Kettle Stomach. The fact that a Living Forge also probably has good synergy with the Iron Kettle Stomach is immaterial- no other ingredient will do and anyone who says otherwise is trying to sabotage the young mistress' foundations :V

I think it might be the other way round lol.

He's been a reliable and surprisingly durable minion she apparently has no better trusted person she can discuss revelations with.

Decent chance she catches feelings along the way
