It Belongs to a Museum

Lizardman relics are too risky for my tastes, and I prefer actual exhibits of some sort over contacts at this juncture. Add in Gems definitely being a stretch, and that leaves four options:

[X] Critters
[X] Beasts
[X] Skeletons
[X] Plants

All of those seem reasonable to me, though I'd favor Plants and Skeletons slightly over the others and may remove Critters and Beasts if it gets close.

That is actually a really tender and sweet exploration of him helping her with her grief. I also like how she's not just eagerly accepting help, just thinking about her late husband, but actually takes an interest in the theory. I am very, very happy with the choice we made.

One of the advantage of the island is that we can Jurassic Park it a bit, so I'm inclined to go with Beasts, and get an animal Wrangler as asistant. But I can be convinced otherwise.

Imagine if eventually we do figure out the 'oh yeah, that's how you get the eternally youthful body, okay we got it. But we're working for someone else now, bad luck Setra'

This was lovely. No strong feelings about the vote, but gosh, that was just wonderful.

I think the quotation marks here are an editing artifact.

my interest in the natural world of Malas is great what can I say

I absolutely LOVED reading this chapter. The interaction between character was amazing and I had a smile on my face the whole time Paht was leading the conversation the way he wanted. Is this how it feels to have a character with high diplo? its amazing! Boney Fantastic job!

I like how the mage was unnamed in Pahtsekhen's thoughts until he realized that she actually is competent (and maybe a pupil candidate) after which he starts using her name when thinking about her.

So like is uncle a very well preserved corpse or a very good looking (for his age) living person

[X] Skeletons
[X] Relics

That was lovely and I look forward to cultivating this connection. I can imagine that she is going to be a lot less likely to want to return her husband to Ulthuan now that she knows his soul is safe and that she can communicate with him.

All I had hoped for... Thank you, Boney.

In terms of the vote: I recommend that here is where we start to advance Pahtsekhen's own interests. Living beasts (leaving aside that we apparently only get the one) aren't going to help teach people about the magic of preservation and bone constructs. Skeletons very much can, while still being applicable to Harkon's story as beasts would (in the sense of 'Observe the terrifying creatures that the pirate captain encountered as he embarked into Lustria for the first time!').

[X] Skeletons
