I kinda want that fight, I feel it's important to encourage fighters who approve of us being a fighting woman enough to take us seriously. Men gossip in their own ways too and it'll be important to getting accepted.

I'm really surprised Beesbury is so popular and kind of sad Rogar isn't. A man shows some potential open-mindedness but because his descendants and ancestors ruin countless people in unspeakable ways that leaves him 'unapproachable'. Of course he could just think our freak matches his freak which would be fun.

Rogar: "I hear they call you 'Visenya Reborn', is that in a 'Ruthless Warrior' Visenya kinda way or a 'Blood Witch' Visenya one?"
Rhaenyra: "...I-"
Rogar: "No...wait. I wanna see for myself, that's more fun."
-Rogar Bolton Has Joined Your Party-
Rhaenyra: "I don't know if I want that..."

Rhaenyra: "...Raylooon!"

If you want to speak substantively with and possibly recruit the Bolton, choose the Conversation to speak with him rather than the Action to spar with him, for two reasons. First, a spar only gets us a fight, against an opponent with an unfamiliar style, and goes to improving Prowess; as we saw with Harwin, it does not go deeper than that. Second, sparring at the same time as we participate in a tourney increases the chance of our mystery knight disguise being pierced before we're ready to dispense with it, while conversing does not.

This isn't about the people, but the actions, though. Training at the same time as entering a tourney carries an injury, risk, as laid out in the action descriptions themselves. And every plan is dead set on entering the tourney. Meanwhile, it's not that we overly love Beesbury, talking to him just relates to our promise to Isembard Arryn from last round, that's all.

Even Azel himself, as the author for "The time has come" has turned his back on that plan again!

I think it's important to speak with Rhea soon. We haven't talked to her so far and it seems like we are snubbing her a bit. She could provide useful insights on our progress so far.

Wyman Manderly has one of the single greatest lines of the books

"So young," said Wyman Manderly. "Though mayhaps this was a blessing. Had he lived, he would have grown up to be a Frey."
The conversation even starts on a banger, too.

Hosteen Frey: We know the man who did this. Killed this boy and all the rest. Not by his own hand, no. He is too fat and craven to do his own killing. But by his word. Do you deny it?
Wyman Manderly: I confess ... I confess that I know little of this poor boy.

May be a bit of a silly question, but why is Beesbury at White Harbor?

Also underrated combo might have been talking with Raylon and Mystery Knight, might have had some good advice

Her and Steffon, yeah. Little Valemen-far-from-home confab.

Disagree on Steffon tbh. I wouldn't mind training with him if it comes up, but I'm not super interested in another character to manage our relationship, opinion, etc. with. I'd prefer to just treat him as an extra.

The whole point of this guy is putting a guy who's loyal to Jeyne on the goldcloaks, which is net good because Jeyne's our ally and most goldcloaks are loyal to Daemon who's our enemy. The reason he's here and not already on his way to King's landing was because we wanted to not make it look so obvious we were favoring Jeyne's suggestion - which IMO wasn't a big deal, but whatever. We can take one training action with him and say "hey he seems an accomplished warrior I recommend him to the goldcloaks," and IMO that should satisfy the point of taking him along with us.

We should not be trying to like vet him ourselves or anything like that. We don't have the intrigue and we don't have the experience, and we don't have the action economy. And we should not be getting his life's story or his sidequest or w/e. If it's a big deal he can elevate it to us, otherwise he's an extra.

Both of these are fair points and partly why I honestly prefer the Feast option most of all since it could net us (if it's anything like the Gulltown Feast) three mini conversations. I, of course, want one of those to be with Rogar but that still leaves us with two more that can be filled by Beesbury and that'll leave us one free that can be taken up by one of our as yet unaddressed companions like Rhea or Redfort. Beesbury is someone we can speak to plenty when we get home and we've already been given approval by our Father for the Isembard plans. I'm sure we'll get something interesting from talking to him, such as finding out why he's in White Harbor at all, but it seems like a missed opportunity to not speak with one of the most important Northerners here in favor of someone we can just talk to at home. Rogar has been mentioned in southern tourneys before which I think is pretty unusual for an Old Gods following Northerner which I think is interesting. He could offer a new perspective on how other people view Tourneys and the classic knights we seek to emulate.

The Manderly's are worth their action no matter what and taking time for talking directly to them might offset any slight given when we aren't 'seen' at their Tourney much as seems likely or their Feast at all if that's how things shake out.

I'll make one of my own plans including it since no one else has. Not my ideal one but I'll stick to my guns here.

I mean, in general yes. But I find it strange to chide him for specifically that. Usually, in the rare cases nobles do marry out of love rather than political alliances, people are cheering them on. Plus, in general his "reconciliation" with the Faith was pretty much using Maegor's subjugation of it to keep it under control, which actually is a political victory. Jaehaerys was a misogynistic prick who couldn't take care of his family and neglected his daughters, but chiding him for not marrying politically just seems a bit odd to me.

...but back to thinking about what actions to t ake. Hm...

I dunno. The feast is basically mandatory, the tourney is something we should take part in, but the hunt seems a bit superfluous. We are already doing social mingling and a martial-social act. Also taking part in a hunt seems superfluous. I feel like we should either study/train something (get Syrax accustomed to northern climate? Prop up our poetry skill? Fight Rogar Bolton?), or have a conversation instead of that.
honestly i went on a hunt cause rhaenyra woul probably like it, and im assuming we can talk to the manderly at the feast

I quite like Beesbury, I think he is quite loyal, and council members are important people to have as allies, their influence even if subtle, runs deep. I'm interested in what he can give us in private and I expect it will be awhile before we can interact with another council member let alone one predisposed to liking us. I'd be okay with him just being interacted with at the feast, though.

The argument that we can simply talk to Beesbury later when we return to Kingslanding is true, but we'll have a lot of council members and more properly watching eyes. While also having to juggle our other relationships, things are going to fall to the sides and not get as much attention as they could, and I want to give the Master of Coin the attention he deserves while we can.
