Alas, the setting is Warhammer 40k. There will always be some kind of threat. As long as we're not dealing with apocalypse level threats anymore then it's fine.
I'll take a silver ending, where we've beaten all the galaxy ending monsters, Chaos continues to eat itself and is slowly whittled away by the sane, we've collected the full black crystal set (not having done so is quest heresy), and we've managed to get the Men of Stone STC into use (which is a different kind of heresy, but hopefully not if we can make them into machine spirits).
