[] Plan: An Ally, and Invaluable Research
-[ ] [General] Establish an Empyric Research Station (2/3)
-[ ] [General] Forge Alliances (Who?)
-- [ ] Legio Cybernetica
[ ] [Research] The Question of the Machine Soul
- [ ] Rites of Communion

I liked Solpinr's plan, but I feel getting critical research done is more important than a long-term alliance with Genetors. Legio Cybernetica is critical though.

I'd want at least one alliance before we go into the underworld
Agreed.

So this list of potential allies is pretty unhelpful, because like half of it has only been mentioned once, by name only, and we just have to guess at what the QM thinks they do because there are no concrete answers.

Are Runes different from Wards? If so, which faction in the Cult Mechanicus are the Rune Priests under?
None, Rune Priests are the Space Wolves' psykers in denial about being psykers.

I'm not sure Titanicus will fit down in the tunnels
Bc this is 40k, I would bet the tunnels are large enough to fit Castigator titans, bc there are Chaos corrupted ones run by MOI deep in there, somewhere. Somehow, everything super advanced in 40k is XBAUX huge.

I Would definitely go for Titanicus after Cybernetica, figure Cybernetica gives us more diverse options and sizes of combat units to start tactically implementing.

Meant this one, but noted.
Those seem to be 30 year old lore that hasn't been mentioned since, but if they exist they seem more like a lesser designation similar to Enginseer (so not a faction we'd be allying with so much as a type of employee we probably have). I wouldn't expect their rites to be anymore effective than the rest of the technomysticism the Mechanicus engages in.

[X] Plan: An Ally, and Invaluable Research

I expect any alliance to have some conditions so we shouldn't just ally everyone from the get-go, we have the time to test the waters.

So uh. Is nobody else noticing how the assault into the Vault is an Urgent priority? As in, if we put it off much longer other factions might be rather upset?

Of am i mistaken about the red coloring of the mission?

Its only partially red. Its counting down, getting more red each turn and when the whole thing is red then its urgent.
