So basically as long as the Mechanicum has not been pushed past the godzilla threshold they will not unleash the horrors. For the the Gene-Cults Godvilla was not an answer it was a question and the answer was yes.

[X] Plan: Healing, Rebuilding and Preparing
-[X] [General] Expand the Castellum
--[X] Restore and Heal
-[X] [Military] Restoring the Ranks (0/2)
-[X] [Military] Redesigning the Doctrines
--[X] Reinforcement of the Mind and Soul
As the ranks were restored and doctrines revised, Magos Majoris Vehlaris stood before the assembled council. The room still bore faint scars from the battle two years ago—a jagged crack along the wall here, a patch of replaced metal there—but the spirit of the Castellum had been rekindled.
"We have survived," Vehlaris announced, his voice reverberating through the hall. "But survival alone is not enough. We march forward, and we do so stronger than before. Every loss we suffered is a lesson burned into our code, and every victory earned shall serve as our foundation."
The Castellum was fully repaired and ready for the future. The Magi Ætheric had learned—painfully and thoroughly—that the Immaterium would not relent. But neither would they. Their new doctrines, their reformed ranks, and their expansion were proof of that determination.
"We rebuild not only our walls but our spirits," Vehlaris continued. "The Machine God demands progress, and we shall provide it."
And so, at the turn of a Terran century, the Ephemeralis Astra Castellum rose from the ashes—a beacon in the void, fortified by its scars, prepared for whatever horrors the Immaterium would send next.
You Have 3 [Three] Actions.
The Procession of 12 + To finally See = 0.1 Research AP per Action
Research Domes = 0.1 Per AP put on Research
Research Banked= 1AP + (0.05 AP)
[ ] [General] Expand the Castellum
The Ephemeralis Astra Castellum, already a beacon of knowledge and defense, can evolve into an even greater citadel of power and discovery.
- [ ] Infrastructure (0/3)
- [ ] Military Stations (0/3) - [ ] Research Domes II (0/3)
- [ ] Voidship Dockyards (0/3)
[ ] [General] Forge Alliances (Who?)
Now that our faction has the respect of Mars' other Tech-Priests, the opportunity to forge alliances with influential Mechanicum factions presents itself.
[ ] [General] Empyric Mapping Arrays (1/2)
With every map drawn and every anomaly charted, the Machine God's servants expand the boundaries of knowledge and ensure that even the Immaterium itself will bow to the will of Mars.
[ ] [Military] Restoring the Ranks (1/2)
The Scars of this battle must be mended. And never forgotten.
[ ] [Military] Redesigning the Doctrines
This updated doctrine ensures their forces are adaptive, vigilant, and spiritually fortified, merging human ingenuity with warded automation to confront and conquer even the darkest horrors of the Empyrean.
- [ ] Initiation Protocols in Hexagramic Wards:
Every initiate, from the lowest menial to the aspiring Magos, would now be drilled in the understanding and application of warding symbols. Wards would not merely be a passive tool inscribed upon armor and circuits—those who wore them would know their meanings, strengthening their spiritual and technical discipline against the Empyrian's denizens.
- [ ] Integrated Combat and PsyTech Readiness:
In previous battles, inexperienced tech-priests had failed to recognize the subtle influence of Empyric incursions until it was too late. The new doctrine demanded that all combatants, including maintenance crews and servitor handlers, be trained to use the Warp Geiger to detect and respond to esoteric threats, with combat drills integrating PsyTech into every battle simulation.
- [ ] Legio Cybernetica Coordination Protocols:
The bond between the Magi Ætheric and the Legio Cybernetica had proven invaluable, but the chaotic nature of battle often saw independent automata break formation. A new series of network protocols was devised, ensuring smoother coordination between Battle-Automata cohorts and their Ætheric handlers. Teams would be drilled to anticipate both physical attacks and Empyric disruptions, trusting not only their machines but their wards.
[ ] [Research] Enhance the Wards' Capabilities
Currently, the Wards are powerful, but they are also fragile and limited in scope. Further research could yield advancements in durability, range, and flexibility.
[ ] [Research] The Question of the Machine Soul
The Wards, as they stand, protect the spiritual aspect of the sacred Machine that reside within the vast array of Mechanicum technology. With the Magi Ætheric possessing this groundbreaking ability, the potential for greater communion with the Machine Spirit becomes tantalizingly within reach.

- [ ] The Narrative of the Soul (0/2)
- [ ] Refined Rite Overhauling (0/2)
- [ ] Rite of Manifestation (0/2)
[ ] [Research] Develop New Warp-Related Technologies
The Warp Drive and Gellar Field are merely the first steps in the exploitation of Warp energies. With the Ephemeralis Astra Castellum built, the Magi Ætheric can now seek to develop new machines, perhaps even ships, that interact directly with the Warp in novel ways within a... safe-ish environment.
Arrays, Restoring the Rank and either refining the Doctrine further or Military Stations. Though I'm inclined for Doctrine the Initiation Protocols to be exact.
We do need to do Scope and Strength eventually for our commitment to the Cybernetica... So next turn?
..I'll check later on what we promised the Metallurgists later when I'm more free.
Keep in mind we have a free research AP now and the Research Domes made it so we get 0.2 AP per action done on research instead of the normal 0.1 AP per action. We can finish the military instillation and still do one research while getting halfway to another free research AP.
Edit: doing the math if we start using Two AP on research every turn we can get 1 free Research AP every other turn which we can then use for research which allows us to use a non-free AP for anything else without losing progress to the next free research AP. Also every once in a while depending on how often we use more then two AP to research we could get two free research AP every 5 or so turns.

With the extra research action I think we should focus on scope refinement. Initiation in wards will let us expand the number of people applying and maintaining the wards. I feel like getting the military stations started is a good idea as well.

E: @Dav Inc ended up making this exact same plan. with [ ] Plan: Completing our agreements and restoring our ranks
this plan Completes our Alliance obligations, is it optimital probably not, however I would rather do so before reaching out to another group. Uses the 1 AP of Research Banked to complete them along with finishing restoring. Risks Getting an incursion because it does do research though. (which will always be a risk). Also our wards are Basic for going against Khorne and petty for chaos in general, fuck yeah upgrades!!!
Basically I'm fine with any plan that doesnt pick up new alliances without atleast completing one of our obligations.
Obligations Completed also has my vote. Though I'm very leery of having two Research Rolls especially with single digits being iffy.
I hope QM doesn't decide that a mix of the Fours' Numbers (67, 68, 69, 78, 79, 89) will be a thing... Though there's no guarantees. :X It might just be because we Research Warp Denial that any of the Fours' Number for that roll single digit or no attracts their attention.

We only got so fucked because we got hit 2 times in sequence and the date was Khorne's number, with our ranks restored it shouldn't happen again. Besides that we need to research to get the bonus AP and to strengthen our defenses with the Cybernetica agreement completion as well as the effects of the wards themselves.
The Chaos Incursion begins, and ends five seconds later when the opposing demons all kill each other.
Investing in Ward research should help with fighting daemons. We'll have to spread out Military Stations and Doctrines across the turns to come, though.
Start clearing our plate before taking on new responsibilities. Next turn, make room for the Ghoststone research for the Metallurgicus. Then, we'll be clear to make new joint projects.
Whilst it does rack up another Alliance Obligation to meet, I strongly suggest we make an Alliance with one of the remaining Militant Orders. Because frankly, we need a better pipeline for replacement combat strength and additional security forces to survive the attention of the Warp we have definitely started drawing (even if it's not to the point we start having more chances for Chaos Events) and those are how we get them.
The Skitarii are probably the best for the specific role we need filled at this time, so I favour them. I'm not saying avoid taking some of the other Military options but I think our biggest lack (other than Military Stations, but that is the next aim rather than the current one) is just raw numbers to fight Incursions and the like which aren't, you know, our rather important Magos and such skilled research/manufacturing/training/etc personnel.
That said, we do need to meet the obligations for our existing Alliances so spending at least two AP on those, if not all three other AP we have this turn, is a good idea. I do suspect that our existing allies however wouldn't be too frustrated with us if we reach out to the Skitarii though. After all, they probably are just as, if not more, concerned about how violent in the unapproved methods our recent research efforts to (in part) try and meet our obligations to them have been.
That said, there seems to be some questions on the general use of an Alliance with the Skitarii outside bad luck so... What do our Magos believe would be the expected benefits of an Alliance with the Skitarii in the everyday order of things @Khororhoth ?
