Why people want to fly in Arvus Lighter?

It ain't Valkyrie, its poorly armed and barely has any armor.

Leave Airborne assult to Marines they can handle it, let's support them the best way we can with armor and long range firepower.

[X] Uncaring :
You only see a purpose to physical affection for reasons political and persuasive
Herrand has no desire for physical intimacy beyond political or economic reasons.
[X] Plan: Desert Storm
-[X] A genewrought limb
-[X] For a moment, pour out your heart to your parents
-[X] Gyptus
-[X] A completely Mechanized ground force

Those are 40k Lighters.

The ones used by the Auxilia are hardier types able to drop in loads of troops very easily, and come in NUMBERS.

Also to sweeten the Mechanized Infantry.

Dracosan transport come with either Demolisher Cannon or Twin-Linked Lascannon.

Plus pintle mounted weapon (Multilaser, Heavy Flamer or Heavy Stubber).

Seriously they would give us answer against enemy fortification and armor.

Edit: Oh and they have Hunter-Killer missile mount.

Yet again, this is not a mechanical vote. We are going to have access to the same equipment no matter what. This was explained very clearly in the post. What we are voting on is aesthetics and narrative.

Just because it is how you deploy your infantry squads, doesn't mean you can't learn to also deploy an Armoured Company or two. This is just.

"How do you move squads around."

You can absolutely eventually make a doctrine of.

"Land most of the infantry behind enemy lines with Lighters. Send in the Malcadors and Dracosans."

[X] Plan: Desert Storm

Surprisingly, training in airless worlds probably makes sense since the Cohort last fought in a moon and a space station.

And we're going narrative soon! Hopefully! :V

...I hope I did't jinx something...

Oh, I hadn't even noticed. I'm going to just swap my vote for that then since that plan was proposed first. @patrickxx you already voted for mine so here's a headsup to swap yours as well.
And to be fair, you did post the list, but I was knee deep in reviewing and didn't register it as a viable plan until I'd made my own, so I think you deserve at least the credit of coming up with it, and will edit to give attribution in a mo

Well, I don't reallly agree with pouring out our heart to the parents, but this option is good overall.

Also, yeah, the joke was funny.

i can see the logic of airless world training as I mentioned in my plan, but if we're going to do it, then we should do airless world training that also lets us be effective in worlds with little to no light as an added benefit. Also past the frost line worlds tend to have other harsh conditions that would be good to have our troops prepared for.

Desert storm at best gets us useful airless world training and desert worlds which, i highly doubt we're going to be focusing solely on, so it's wasting a chance to prepare our troops for things in the short and long term.

My own plan is this one due to multiple reasons:

1. transhumanism fucks.
2. we are Franc after all and is a nice neutral option for people.
3. traumadumping is needed.
4. training to fight at the fringes is a must.
5. If shit hits the fan we must be able do GTFO really well.

[x] Plan Death from above:
- A brutal cybernetic replacement
- Just confused
- For a moment, pour out your heart to your parents
- The Canad Wastes
- A completely Aerospace capable drop-army

[X] Plan: Desert Storm

We're the French. Being completely air-mobile is more America's thing.
