It would almost be preferable if we did lose, because that would give us the needed excuse to slow down and let Mary recover. But we committed to this course and so I'm following it until she goes down.
 
No mather what wins, we all agree that the next planning session its going to look like a Pokemon Conquest Warzone, minus the legendaries and Oda Nobunaga.

I have no desire to go full tilt into chasing the sun, and have no interest in letting this obsession eat into our AP. I don't care if it is possible that we can do both. I know I was the only person to vote against chasing the sun last vote, but I want to prioritize our bonds with our classmates or just doing other stuff than trying to keep up with Nemona. I don't care if we wind up having a crisis from falling behind, or if most others want to pursue this rivalry as much as possible.

[X] During Field Exercise II

We have better things to spend AP on than trying to do a gym we're not ready for with a crippling disadvantage that we should be able to kick by the end of the second Field Exercise. Like taking advantage of our last turn of double Know XP gain, bonding with Renne so we can actually use her, and training so that we can continue our streak of publicly kicking but during our gym challenges.

Plus, the third gym challenge is where things start kicking up in difficulty, and I want us to do the challenge there between exercises so that we can shut up people who say Mezagoza students have an unfair advantage by being able to skip those by doing the difficulty spike one as our first one and utterly crushing it. So that means we have to do our second gym fight during a Field Exercise and our third challenge outside of one to get that narrative.

Gotta commit. Plus, we do have great match ups into Larry or Iono.
 
As much as I like us having other priorities, I also feel like committing to following the sun and then half assing it will hurt Mary's psyche more than going full force and failing. Because she will know she wasn't trying her hardest.

Gotta say, don't think this vote specifically will affect the "do a shit ton on KNOW actions" plan specifically.

We have three weeks, one of them loses an AP due to being Leaf's Class Pet, and we lose... at least one more AP if we were doing Both, but Week 1 should be unaffected?

Anyway, once again, not in it for the actual chasing of the Sun, just in it for the totally practical reasons of needing to get strong faster, and this is the fastest route... even if we fail.

We can absolutely take both gyms. Plus chasing the sun means pushing Mariana to keep as close a pace to Nemona as she can. So if Nemona fights two gyms we have to try and match that. Anything less and we're just chasing a shadow.

either we win, which is cool and good, or we fail, and we get the tasty tasty drama of mary's unhealthy focus on chasing nemona coming crashing down (or at least starting to collapse, depending on what exactly happens and how mary's friends react to/support her)
