No matter that Erebus is yet to born, the moment that fucker tries anything, we kill him double.

Amidst the chaos, another figure emerged, glowing with life and vigor. Settra, restored to the peak of his physical health, stood tall and proud. Alongside him were his followers, also brought back to life, their faces reflecting a mixture of astonishment and joy.
Settra looked at Lorgar and Dharok, his eyes filled with emotions. "You have done the impossible," he admitted, his voice ringing with authority.
wait, whats the flaw with Ankhaten again? could have lorgar and dharok fixed them with the world restoration or was Fan the only one who could?

QM comfirmed settra took him with himThe flaw was that he was dead, killed by Dharok and the Chaos Gods were being sore losers and preventing the Liche Priests from raising him. Fan was the only being with the metaphorical weight to tell them to but out in that place at that time Fan was the only one who could slap them aside. Now that this circumstance has passed I imagine he's fixable.
Mars did not have Navigators, it had basically zero FTL capabilities save for blind firing ships into the warp, and hoping they made it. And it did so in enough numbers that the Admech as a whole had a substantial presence thou-out the galaxy by the end of the Unification Wars. And Mars being able to nearly tie against the Emperor, and his forces which include Space Marines legions which we know predate the end of the Unification Wars say more about them then it does the Emperor forces.I'm not so sure about that. To be clear I don't doubt you that someone said it in some 40K book, but for the world-building to make the least amount of sense Mars alone cannot be that powerful because it would have crushed the Emperor like a bug. Mars and Tera are called out as near equals at the end of the Unification Wars with Tera being able to eke out a win at ruinous cost and Emperor or no Tera was still mostly radioactive deserts at that point. And this isn't just one statement in canon vs another statement in canon that parity makes IC sense given the concessions the Red Priests got. One of the foundational pillars of the setting is based on post Unification Wars Tera being about in the same ball park as Mars.

so Settra hit SoW (who bullied Kairos and his 81 Lord of Changes attendants in a fight) So Hard that the Chaos Gods decided to stop interfering due to the fact Settra can hit you through illusions, etc. (does chaos corruption count for Settra to hit them through?) and allowed his lich preists to do their jobs so they don't annoy him any more?
No. Both her and Fan's family are dead. The Shard never had them.

Reminder this is before the Surface of Mars was turned into the hostile hellscape by the Dark-Admech. Realistically any planet could easily build millions of ships with quadrillions more possible, The problem is that once the easily mine able surface resources run out anything only 0-50 miles down is gone, getting more is incredibly difficult. You need Borehole mines, or some way to tap the Mantle.

Mars very much did not have Navigator access, to the point the Treaty between the IOM and the Admech has the IOM being required to supply Navigators to the Admech, in the same manner as the Admech is required to supply technology to the IOM. Also in the same system with the Emperor, the guy that can teleport armies, on top any teleportation technology scattered around Terra. The theater of battle when such powerful players are on the field is smaller then it seems. There were navigators in the remaining habs of the outer planets (Jupiter or Saturn I'd have to look), if Mars had the ship-building capacity to conquer the galaxy on its own it could have grabbed them. Space marines are also entirely worthless against orbital supremacy, you cannot punch a fleet doing an Exterminatus on you, Horus proved that rather definitively at Istvan. Tera just come out of the Unification wars had to have the ships to at least contest Mars enough for those marines to matter.

So @Alratan do you have any idea how we are going to explain all of this to the Imperials? On the one had it fits with the story we already made up before DAoT survivors, we can pretend Fan is one of them, on the other hand... how the heck do we explain the mass resurrection? That was not all Lorgar, it was an interaction between Lorgar rolling like mad and all those people already being undead. Do we talk about the Shard?
I do not doubt that they would have liked access to Tera's navigators. Even allowing all of the above about teleporting armies if they had the material means to conquer the galaxy in say I.Y. 1, the time of the Treaty of Mars, then they would have had the power to conquer most of the galaxy in I.Y. -100 before there was any hint of the 'Lord of Lightning' ever showed up, missing only the Navigators they could have grabbed from the outer system. That they did not indicates that Navigoators were not their main bottleneck even if they played a part in curtailing Martian expansion.
Random accident from warptech weaponry being thrown around at the end of the DAoT trapping people in a bubble in the warp, who we found a way to rescue. Any memories of being undead or dying are just a fiction induced bydaemonswarp xenos to torment them during that.
Thing is they are not all ancients, some of them are present day Colcisians who got killed by evil ghosts/zombies, raised and resurrected. We cannot hide all of them, there are going to be hundreds of thousands.
Hmm. Their memories of their deaths was actually a telepathic attack from a powerful warp xeno psyker trying to do to them what he'd done to the DAoT survivors and Lorgar released them from what was actually an induced coma
