That's... a decent point, actually? I'm kicking myself, how did I not think of that? Before I go to bed, I'm going to have to point out the reason I didn't go with 'Eagleland' for the semi-joke EDF option is that Eagleland doesn't exist.
Feels a little weird to be in the Eagle Quarter calling it Eagleland. And I worry that might, in much the same way as people worry about being overly space themed, also result in getting the wrong kind of attention from people in power.

Honestly, going to go with:
[X] Plan: Angels in the Outfield
Think the baseball thing with the flag is a little bit tacky, but it kinda sorta works as something trying to hide what it really is I guess? I honestly think the default flag is really solid and think a lot of people are trying a bit too hard with flags, but that's just me.
I also know that my personal choice probably isn't going to get it. So I guess this will do.
True, but while (speaking as an American) I'd accept US in an organization's name (given it's literally just an abbreviation), maybe even America, Columbia is unacceptable as a way of referring to the United States in an organization name (in no small part because there's the South American country with all those cartels and such named the same thing, no offense to any Columbians). And I don't know why, but now that it's been pointed out to me, Eagleland sounds (...smells? ...looks?) more like Columbia than the other options.Eh, Eagleland is the canonical name for the Eagle Quarter that's just been changed to better fit the corporate and dystopian setting of 8BD. My logic is that, while the Eagle Quarter is the official name for the region, Eagleland is an unofficial name commonly used by the populace, much like how some Americans simply call the United States the US, America, or even Columbia on rare circumstances.

True. I just feel like this focus would be more fitting if we had let CD play baseball.Baseball and sports in general is a great excuse for having weapons, armour, and gear on our members constantly too. Baseball bats, hockey sticks, goalie gear, that kind of stuff.
Yeah, but we need to break the cordon before we can do anything. That requires 2 things - defeating Titanic Ant so that Pirkle doesn't flex his control of the Cops, and actually getting the Cops to lower the cordon somehow.I do have to say though, I'm a bit worried about Paula--her situation was sketchy even by Earthbound's standards, and this is not nearly as 'Nice' a setting.
Well, I can also definitely see that argument as well, but we are talking about a fictional setting and comparing to a real place. I feel like this is subjective, really. So, agree to disagree and all that.As another American I can't say I agree with you. Eagleland sounds far closer to 'America' to me. In that it's technically wrong but it's what the actual people of the Eagle Quarter will say when they aren't filling out legal documents.
While it obviously depends on what type of criminal organization we found, the reaction will likely be something along the lines of: Local delinquent starts a gang, won't someone think of the children?I guess we'll find out what people *in universe* think of it when we see the results of faction founding, could be a good source of feedback for what angle to take when trying to expand later on.
"think of the children" ends up different when the children are indeed very relevant and solving important problems, thank you very much XPWhile it obviously depends on what type of criminal organization we found, the reaction will likely be something along the lines of: Local delinquent starts a gang, won't someone think of the children?
Implications of being outside of the majority, as expected of a gang of delinquents and criminals, with the hidden meaning of the outfield position, catching those which the main players missed. We're gonna catch those aliens where others failed.
