I never got the annoyance. Meowscarada needs to stand on two legs so it can swashbuckle. Antonio Banderas and Ikue Otani said so.

[X] plan prepping for a successful week
It's already basically a landslide victory for this vote but eh. Proper prep is pretty vital I feel.

I see no harm in voting for the better plan name.
(and I don't hate them except Tinkatink because our family heirloom is not a item to give to a pokemon we got because we fangirled over it at a festival.)
That's a (for the most part) mischaracterisation of why the Tinkatink fans want to give them the knife.

It is true I wasn't as inclined towards Tinkatink before that, but that was because I had no idea they could have weapons other than a hammer in this AU. I do also think it'd be neat if Mariana did become a knight, but there's enough potential issues with that (even just counting the time commitment it'd require) that I'd be perfectly happy with just the Tinka-mon.

The dagger itself seems like it'd give a buff to Steel/Flying type Pokémon and moves. Tinkatink literally makes their weapon out of scrap Steel from other Pokémon, so I shouldn't need to explain why a lot of people jumped to the idea of giving one our dagger. Steel type aside, I and some others think the Flying type would also be useful if the Dragoon idea can actually payoff, where instead of using a hammer to smack things at enemy fliers they build a spear and yeet themselves. Which would be useful against Sunny the flight-capable Monferno but also any other flying Pokémon in keeping with the Tinkatink lines theming.

Typing aside they're also just cool, both in design and in their gremlin energy (see: their complete refusal to allow Corviknights to exist within their airspace).
Even if we got a Tinkatink, I wouldn't want to give it the knife.

That's just Skarmory metal. If we're aiming to catch the sun we should search for better.
We're not exactly swimming in Pokémon material? If we'd voted for the Pokémon caring club we might've had more choice, but even then I'm struggling to think of something better for a Pokémon like Tinkatink. A fourth badge level material is pretty damn good, even setting aside the near perfect match for typing.

Meowscarada is based, and I am definitely not biased about this.

So people want to give Tinkaton the Skarmory Dagger so it can learn Bounce? Cause they don't really have the physiology for most Flying Type Moves. Theoretically, they would only really be able to learn Bounce, Aerial Ace, Acrobatics, and maybe Peck. And Acrobatics is a bit of stretch because of the whole stronger while unarmed thing, which would kind of defeat the purpose.

I guess using it as a base for some kind of war fan would give access to the more wind based Flying moves?

I think Air cutter and Air slash might be on the table with the right weapon, though that may just be my wishful thinking because I think flying slashes are really cool.

On the Subject of the dagger, it depends for me. If it would just dissapear into a pile of scrap to become part of a hammer somewhere I would be against it. If it was used somewhere prominent, like being reforged into a speartip or folded in as the cutting edge of a longer blade, I think that would be pretty cool.

I don't really need to vote if this plan's going to win but I might as well. I rather like Tinkatink as an option, but I'm hesitant to get it when we have a Nacli right there. Nacli not my favorite mon, I find the design... meh? It's like a far more successful Stonjourner with a slightly more creative design (slightly). But, man, Garganacl is just an amazing pokemon overall, and it's a good matchup against the gym, too. I still think we should wait a bit to see what options the Aron and Tinkatink get, but that Nacli is really fun, even if it gets no special traits like the others likely will.

I'm also on team tink though I feel conflicted on the dagger, I want to see something new but also feel like oversized hammer just fits

As a certified pink gremlin enjoyer, giving one the skarmory knife is an exceptionally dumb idea. It is a pathetic, tiny weapon that does not put the fear of Arceus into your foes.

A tinkaton's armaments should be an overly large and disturbingly deadly abomination of a weapon, more akin to a Monster Hunter weapon than anything practical. That is the whole appeal - tiny pink thing with MASSIVE HAMMER.

Basically what I'm saying is, get that gremlin a chargeblade. Or a gunlance. Gremlins love gunlances.

Just give the Tink the hydrolic cutter that was mounted on Metal Gear Ray that can cut through an entire steel ship. We're making this thing a water type now as well.
