They'll jump in anyway once this little play war either goes on long enough for their objectives or it starts spiraling some other way anyway. And besides, while it may be nice to have Griffin T-dolls with us, that might just result in te military jumping in...
While all true, and something I agree with, we still need a living/functioning example of their programming and hardware to come up with any kind of solution to the issue.Even setting aside the challenges involved in resource management, trustworthy associates, and such, we have to take into account just how... convenient the whole story is. Like; yeah, if what they're saying is true, then it's horrifying that the G&K dolls are treated the way they are, to say the least.
But... just then, they'd said that the dolls had their memories erased (or something to that effect) following the completion of an order. That doesn't mesh with what they said earlier, with what they witnessed regarding the man who... pleasured himself (ugh, I wish there was a better way to word that) with the doll at the base. That doll suffered from a suicidal impulse. I can't help but question that.
IDK, maybe there's a perfectly good explanation that I'm just not seeing right this moment, but it's curious, nonetheless.
And then you get into the fact that they're pushing the MC into going for some kind of... mass brainwashing program, rather than what they initially intended to do, which was liberating the dolls from absolute servitude. I kindof get where they're coming from, but...
On top of the discomfort I feel with the effective brainwashing, it also wouldn't stop the cycle of hatred, and in fact would be liable to make the dolls hate 'our' side of the conflict even more. It's just... not a great look.
There's no contradiction here: the directive was brought up in a very specific context. It's also consistent with Scarecrow saying not every transaction requires using it.But... just then, they'd said that the dolls had their memories erased (or something to that effect) following the completion of an order. That doesn't mesh with what they said earlier, with what they witnessed regarding the man who... pleasured himself (ugh, I wish there was a better way to word that) with the doll at the base. Better late than never: it's about committing Architect's time in the nearest future. To equip her champion for the mission, to organize theQuestion, is the vote to fully commit the time and resources it would take to capture a Doll? Or is it to just ask Alchemist, Dreamer, or Ouroboros about it and see what they think? If it's the latter, I don't see the problem with just asking.
