State of the Craftworlds - Part 1
(Another piece of food for thought for you all, while the vote is in progress.)

A little sneak peek into what the Craftworlds are doing at this stage in M42.
  • Craftworld Alaitoc - Currently present in the Ultima Segmentum, Alaitoc is tailing Iyanden like a hawk, determined to safeguard it from any threats.
  • Craftworld Biel-Tan - Biel-Tan is currently in the Tempestus Segmentum, trying to recover its strength after a series of bruising battles with the Tyranids of Hive Fleet Leviathan.
  • Craftworld Iyanden - Iyanden is hovering around the borders of the T'au Empire in the Ultima Segmentum, with Alaitoc some distance away. They are trying to avoid major combat for now.
  • Craftworld Saim-Hann - The Wild Host is currently in the Pacificus Segmentum, engaged in a bitter, dangerous hit-and-run campaign against the forces of Chaos and the ancillary tendrils of Hive Fleet Leviathan, with valuable assistance from Yllentoc. While being successful for the most part, they will pull out of the region should the situation spiral out of control.
  • Craftworld Ulthwé - The Song of Ulthanash is maintaining a thankless vigil near the Eye of Terror.
  • Craftworld Yllentoc¹ - Currently present in the Pacificus Segmentum, Yllentoc is engaging in a high-risk hit-and-run campaign against the forces of Chaos and the ancillary tendrils of Hive Fleet Leviathan, in support of Saim-Hann. In spite of their successes, their Farseer, Irliraniel, is chafing at what she sees as a wasteful and distractionary campaign and is busy making plans for pulling out of the Segmentum.

1.Yllentoc is a Craftworld of a scale similar to Alaitoc, Biel-Tan, Iyanden, Saim-Hann and Ulthwé.

Much like Saim-Hann, this Craftworld fled the homeworlds of the Eldar prior to the birth of "She Who Thirsts", and developed the Path with a degree of flexibility.

They have kept in touch with the Exodites, as well as several of the smaller Craftworlds.

They have been in the thick of conflict very often ever since the Fall of the Eldar, with several battles fought against the Orks and the forces of Chaos, as well as the Drukhari. They will attack the Imperium only if they are proving to be a significant threat to the Eldar (like taking over a Maiden World, desecrating Eldar ruins on a world, or to help retrieve the remains of and resurrect Phoenix Lord Irillyth on Bethalmae). They have fought the Tyranids on quite a few occasions, and usually prefer not to engage them, but when they do, they try to inflict as much damage as they can.

Unlike most Eldar, the Asuryani of Yllentoc have no illusions as to the fact that the Eldar Empire is gone, probably for good. They are thus, fighting to secure a region/regions of the galaxy where the Eldar might live in peace. They are also more likely than other Craftworlds to co-operate with lesser races if it brings them benefits, and also averse to going on genocidal purges against them, seeing such endeavors as mere distractions.

Due to the similarity in their culture with Saim-Hann, they have warm relations with that Craftworld, and consequently, bad relations with the others (except Iyanden, who they helped out a few times, and Ulthwé, who doesn't see them as a threat). However, they are liked by quite a few of the minor Craftworlds, due to having helped them in some way or the other. They are quite proud (but never arrogant), and respect the value of honor.

Their relations with Biel-Tan are the worst (bordering on hostilities). It is due to them not being genocidal, and also due to rejecting the Ynnari.

Their color scheme is: Purple body armor, Red helmets, White faceplates. Their rune is a spear placed upright, with purple and red coloration in the background.

(A big shoutout and thanks to my dear friend @Spartakrod for the name suggestion.)

anythng about Yvarne? Also our xenos ever saw the eldar or anything close to them?

Considering our species has only been sapient/sentient for a few centuries, probably not.

On that note, even for a setting like Warhammer I find it impressive that our Monkey Xenos were able to get to the Space flight stage within a few centuries.

Even the Tau needed a few millennia before they were at that stage. So good on our guys then.

"Clears throat"

I think I already mentioned that 1 year for the Drak'xarim is 4 Imperial years.

And our species has a civilized history of 750 years.

Do the math.

However, about our technological prowess....given time, the T'au will look primitive compared to us.

Oh....so we're way over 750 Imperials years old as a civilization......right, so we're closer to average by civilization.

At least we'll be able to beat out the T'au though....and hopefully the Imperium eventually given how much the Mech hate innovation.

The imperium have to much dark age tech to get around so it would take a while, is not like invention mean we can pull super weapon our of asses every turn, it can take a few turn here and there.

Well, our own homeworld has quite a few DAOT ruins.

If we crack them open....

That alone will push us to the Low DAOT tech level.

State of the Aliens - Part 1
(A little more food for thought for you all.)

A sneak peek into what some of the major alien races are doing at this stage in M42.

  • T'au - The T'au are busy with military expeditions to expand their domain via the Fifth Sphere of Expansion, even as Chaos incursions have slowed them down.
  • Orks - The Ork Empires of Octarius and Charadon are engaged in a vicious stalemate of a conflict with Hive Fleet Leviathan, even as Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka, the Prophet of the Waaagh! is busy uniting several Waaaghs! of varying sizes under his banner.
  • Tyranids - While the bulk of Hive Fleet Leviathan is fighting and devouring Orks in the Ultima Segmentum, three of its tendrils - Nautilon, Promethor and Grendyllus - are carving a swathe across the Pacificus Segmentum, meeting heavy resistance on the way.
  • Necrons - As more and more Necrons awaken, Szarekh the Silent King is making plans to unite them and seek to re-establish the Infinite Empire. However, he is not unopposed, as Imotekh the Stormlord and Anrakyr the Traveler have their own plans for Necron unification and will brook no rival.

That Dark Age tech is actually the Imperium's weakness.

For they can only go so far in maintaining them. Replacing them if lost is impossible, as the Adeptus Mechanicus will never conduct thorough research on Dark Age tech, even if by doing so, they could mass-produce them.

I think Plan: Build Build Build is missing a few lines for slots, research for example only has a slot 2 line.
Also its better to name them:
--[] Infrastructure Major Slot 1
As the tally removed duplicated lines, so only one Major Slot 1 line will show up in the tally

@sunrise

Hmm....

Good plan, just a small reminder.

Your science ship will need to rest for 3 months after each expedition, so you might want to factor that in for the Naval Actions.

Also the increase to Mineral and Nanomaterial production that you calculated seems to be off.

I copied those from build, build, build but that plan must be building both minor facilities twice to get to that income and i missed that.
Added one line to the infra slot 2:
Start the Orbital Shipyard (Infrastructure Option) if research is done before the end of the turn
If both research projects complete at try one we can start this 5 months before the end of the turn

Hold your horses on the Orbital Shipyard. I haven't said how long it will take and how much it will cost to build.

I suggest you wait for Turn 2 before doing that.
