What Happens Next (Slay The Princess/RWBY)

She didn't have that much time to accumulate a collection, expect something reasonable, like... I don't know, around 20 of them? :V
Truly a number only a casual hobbyist would have. When is Stella gonna talk shop and make recommendations on how to expand to a more sizeable collection for any social occasion?

Penny knows Ruby has high scores in weapon maintenance/creation, is she gonna get recruited/commissioned in hand crafting more tiaras?

Stella cheats, she has one tiara for all occasions... because she has one tiara that adapts to all occasions.
So when are the students gonna run a mystery investigation on finding where Stella is hiding her tiara collection? On the assumption that Stella doesn't explain the embarrassment of not having a tiara collection after Penny talks about hers.

I mean, they don't have access to her room, for all they know the place is full of nothing but tiaras (it's actually strangely empty, both Sable and Stella prefer each other presence to objects, partially due to them thinking of even the most resistant thing as impermanent. Now, connections with people and the memories of them on the other hand....).

Facts wouldn't get in the way of good gossip. Depending on how often Stella mixes up her tiara, the more time passes the likelier it is she shows off more tiaras than could fit in her private room (even if one argues she's a maniac and her room is nothing but display cases and a bed in a corner).

[X] A reference to two second year students asking for apprenticeship under this woman, which she agreed to. (The Mentor)
I think people will feel less shame/hesitation if we are known for being good at the "cool" stuff

[x] A dossier describing a promising young woman, with a good handling of psychology. (The Counselor)

Is it really surprising that I think psychologist is the most interesting option? It should allow us to be more hands-on with certain characters' issues.

I would prefer staying the course and poking the Firsties.

Vote changed due to clarifications.

I love your Penny, she made me smile.

I love that Penny inherited an obsession with tiaras. I'm imagining that she is going to have a huge collection of them when she moves into the dorms.

Also, Princess needs to talk to Pietro about their unintentional child. Hopefully any future family get togethers don't get too awkward.

Yeah Weiss doesnt get to complain about Penny's tiara collection when she brought so many clothes. I also loved Penny's POV!

Stella will have a tiara collection if and only if the majority of people around her decide to believe that she has one. That is generally how the Princess works, after all.

another privileged kid
It is rather funny that fully half their year does have some flavor of privileged background. 5/8ths if you count Yang having Tai & Qrow as mentors.

Cardin... is also a privileged kid from the rich Winchester family (i do think it has a hunter history), he's just not as skilled as the others.

He has nothing to complain about lol

She would still be a counselor even though we don't pick this right @Nyarky? Would the vote just flavor Stella's interactions with students?

She is staying the school counselor, the vote is what big thing jumps to the public and students eye about her.

This is a vote for your chapter III form, evolving from the teacher, you will keep what the Teacher has no matter what.

It's additional abilities.

It is even worse for Carding in particular, first you have the fact that he is an hypocrite about privileges, as this post points out:
Cardin... is also a privileged kid from the rich Winchester family (i do think it has a hunter history), he's just not as skilled as the others.

But also, he is not just amongst privileged kids... his team consists of:

-A prodigy that skipped two years, and she's the leader at that.

-Another Prodigy, didn't skip years, but is a celebrity and has a reputation as outright invincible.

-Yang may not be as big a prodigy as the last two, but she is one too.

Team PRNS, the main interaction he had and one that his whole team will want to stay close to is also only made of prodigies, with one (Penny), being on the level of Ruby and Pyrrha on that.

Then you have Cardin, it's not that he's bad, he got there, but he's... average.

Worse, he's the only man, and his dossier indicates he has mysoginistic tendencies.

Only way to make him feel worse at this point would be if everyone were Faunus around him.

Hmm. If the given choice wouldn't interfere with responsibilities already taken, then there is no reason not to pick option 2.
Vote will changed accordingly.

Looks like what he needs is some emergency character development (also known as a 'chill pill'). He may just find his niche in the team and, perhaps, will have an even better time than in canon.

To be more precise:

First option means the public is most exposed to Stella through the little incident with the wild and her *cover story* for it, and the students that she will see are likely to have some remarks on it during talks between them, for example.

Second Option would mean that the two students she has taken as apprentice will be around her often enough the first years will know she is doing that. (In case you want to know, since Stella does know who they are, I could tell)

Third is her mostly being known for her position, with the discussion being about that or her life if the students talk about her.
