I picked the parties I did for few reasons; the Humanists because they also seem to mainline biotech, the Lighting guys because I like hyperspecialists like that, the Faithfull of the Omnissiah because I wanna see if we can faith powers, and Warriors of the Machine god because well it's 40k we need those guys.

Naturally I am still willing to join a coalition with other hyperspecialists or Genetor groups.

[X] Plan: The Work Continues

Given the parliamentary nature of the politics setup and the low placement of the tech heresy points, I don't think the worry about chaos is all that relevant, and long term adding in better housing and education can only help our society and in fact reduce the temptation the lower class feels to join chaos based on "What have I got to lose?"

Plus, if we want a pure rational non-moral justification, a well fed, well educated child from a safe home will grow up to be less prone to mental issues and better able to handle complex labor than one who got nothing from society and grew up sickly, illiterate, and malnourished, making anti-poverty and mass education actions some of the most effective long term investments we can make in our human population.

Chaos draws from all parts of life, so that's not really a good argument, but since they draw from all walks, nothing stopping us from improving life

Mh, but we can also just vote for parties without the "if that point is done like that, it can blow up in our face bad" Points.
Other parties want to build out education and homes, too.
Like we, the party "Illuminated Mechanicus", do in our plan "Illuminated beginnings".
Just without the sucidal " Heavily reduce restrictions on various forms of 'tech heresy' " point.

It's not suicidal, it's done by every member of the mechanicus they just do their xenotech study and innovations in secret alone while I am proposing combining our resources so we can do it better

innovations in secret alone
Actually the mechanicus do innovate, but it's a mixture of "finding" "archeotech" and actually researching, the issue with the last one is that all research needs to be vetted hard by techno-exorcists ( and totally not GWs using that to pull tech in each edition)

It's why there's a lot of mechanicus research stations out there, might take 100+ but eventually your tech comes out Vetted or it doesn't come out at all.

Another is that forge worlds don't really share between each other .

Given the above, would actually throwing more resources at vetting ie more people, more funds and bigger research areas reduce the time it takes to get vetted into a time scale more in line with our 8 year per turn quest?

Getting another forgeworld to share research would be good but that's a big project all on its own.

Right so I'm proposing we cut down on that unnecessary 100 years of vetting as well as the mindset of keeping your work secret from all the other members of the cult, which makes it much harder to get anything done

We could also send out our Skitarii Legions out to search for Archotech to improve our knowledge, if only we cared about supporting these warriers of the omnissiah
