Taylor can turn the transparency of the UI to 100% with a touch... how effective does he think this would be in combat? Would he be able to cripple a Crawler's ability to operate their system? What if he turned the opacity to 100% and cranked up the brightness as high as it would go, to serve as a Blinding effect?
It requires touch and it's not instant. The only way you could do it in combat was if you were successfully grappling the person. That said, the basic interface is just health bar, mana bar, and minimap. Editing anything else won't have any effect since they can simply not bring up their interface.
If its a book, should try having IT be casted by one Taylor to see how it interacts with having multiple bodies.
It's a scroll, sorry.
Note: This should be doable for Moose. Grab with frontpaws and dig with backpaws.
Unfortunately, Moose can't wear gloves in order to gain the skill and he doesn't have it now.
When the conditions for the Rearrake skill are met, is that bonus for all attacks or just the ones part of the activation requirements? (Imagine someone were to bite while doing the Rearrake)
It's only for the disemboweling kick attack.
Were the settings for relay messaging, media sharing, and auto deduplication invisible or just way out there?
Some of them are invisible, some are visible but you need to scroll for ~60 seconds to get to it.
Drew and Moose didn't need to wait on Tay and Leo to open their own boxes, it was a mistake to do so but they got away with it this time
Watsonian: It's fun to watch your friends get cool stuff.
Doylist: It's easier to write loot chapters if only one person is getting stuff at a time.
I agree, Barbie line is the goal.
Note that you are currently at station 113 and the Barbie Pink line is first found at 139. Stations in this area are usually 15-20 minutes apart, so you're talking about 7-8 hours to get there.
It will be 6 hours before we can pull more Sysop moves but with the full menu now visible we can play around with the chat functions. If I'm reading it right, we can use the names on the mass chain messages to send messages to those people via the peer to peer relay function and if the message is "accept direct contact?" and they do, we get to add them to Taylor's contacts list without a fist bump for future Sysop shenanigans. Or even if we don't get the full lists we can we can work back from the people who sent to us - ask them the ID of the people who sent to them and then use the P2P to send a request for direct contact. Then repeat.
@eaglejarl is that right?
You can't add names to your contact list per se without physical contact, but once they have their relay set to Open it doesn't matter since you can send them messages and it looks the same to you as if you had sent the message direct. The only difference is that you need to keep the crawler names in your scratchpad instead of your contact list, which isn't particularly relevant. Note that you can't message anyone until they have set their relay options to 'Open' so you'll need to get the message out the old fashioned way.
I'm afraid crawlers do not have access to space!internet or space!credit cards and thus cannot buy the Premium edition. :>
Also, two minor retcons:
- I removed the 30-hour cooldown on Soul Sprite so now it's only limited by mana availability. Not sure why I had the cooldown there.
- I forgot to do Taylor's Gold box. It contained an Arsonist's Toolkit, which allows for limited crafting options while outside a saferoom, for incendiary devices only.
