"Not all skills are trainable, but we're going to focus on the damage-dealing ones. Taylor, I want you to work on your Combat Specialization: Yo-Yo skill. Moose, you'll do Bite. It's at level 9 already so if we can push it to 10 that will help a lot. Drew, you'll do Weapon Focus: Spears. Calliope, you'll do Sword."
What about the trainables that aren't feasible to train? Like cocktoach (unfeasible because it requires risk of death to train)?

You are welcome to attempt to train Cockroach. This involves repeatedly killing Drew and praying that the AI counts each such training attempt as a separate fight, since Cockroach only activates once per fight. Do you want to suggest this in character? If so you should include it in a write-in plan.

So the Training room doesn't make it safe, got it.

[X][Loot] Transfer Taylor's boxes to Leo to train Rollup ADDENDUM

BUT Leo doesn't open the boxes. Instead we wait until the 6 hour timer refreshes and we can transfer the boxes back. This also goes Leo a chance to get 1 more Silver or 2 more Bronze boxes to raise our Gold total.

If I'm mathing right, (always a dubious prospect)
Bronze 7 + 9 = 16 which gives 8 silver
Silver 4 + 3 + 8 = 15 which gives us 3 gold and 3 silver (stupid 1 box short)
Gold 5 boxes total
2 Platinum
1 Legendary

I'm torn on how to split this but I think we let Leo open boxes Gold and below. She loses a Platinum box but gains 4 Gold. Taylor gets the extra Platinum box to make up for losing the Golds and doesn't lose out on his Legendary.

This accounts for 12 hours of Sysop abilities. If we really want to work on Roll Up either Drew or Moose should not open boxes and save them for the next 12 hour window. I know we were exhausted this last time but there should never be a time that Taylor doesn't transfer boxes before going to sleep. Yes, we only sleep for 2 hours now but that's a third of our cooldown.

[X][Action] Get on the Sapphire line and grind up to the next transit station
[X][Action] Get on the Coquelicot line and grind up to the next transit station

I don't really care what line we get on as long as it isn't one of the special ones. We aren't ready for that yet. Either way we want to prioritize two things
1) finding bosses to take advantage of Plunder and just general box generation.
B) getting into special rooms on trains for prizes. Yes, they can be trapped but Drew's luck should help us come away with some good stuff, hopefully.

Also, we shouldn't go nuts and spend all of our money on upgrades. Remember it's easier to make money if you have money.

You can transfer "unopened boxes". That includes boxes in inventory or boxes that have manifested but are waiting to open. Unfortunately, boxes open in ascending order, which means that if you are transferring boxes that have manifested then you'll be transferring the ones that are better than the ones that have opened.
All right. Followup. If we transfer boxes to Leo that don't get used by Roll-up, will they still be adjusted to be better for her, or will they fit the achievement that earned them in the first place? Because I'm not willing to spend twelve hours on this one transfer, but I also want to keep Taylor's Legendary box giving an item that actually fits someone with Two Body Problem. So that determines whether I would vote for having him transfer his boxes now, or wait to see if Moose or Drew has more before transferring the one that does.

We could just transfer Mooses boxes instead of Taylors.

Yes, but that doesn't give Leo enough boxes to get the bonus exp for failing to make a Platinum for not having enough levels. It ends up being 3 Gold boxes instead of 4. That's still something I'd prefer to messing up the Legendary box from Taylor's Lazarus reward, because I do not want an item that heavily linked to death being adapted to Leo, but I would be willing to accept some delay in order to see if Drew can give her slightly more.

I remember someone saying you'd mentioned in the Discord that we could start opening boxes and then have Taylor do the transfer partway through, after we'd opened some of them? Is that correct, and can Taylor open his Platinum and Legendary boxes before transferring his bronze and silver ones over to get Leo enough to actually trigger the higher skill XP bonus?

Second question.

Is this a white list or a black list? That is, did Borant have to approve certain skills as trainable in a training room, or deliberately exclude them, and thus possibly miss excluding Roll-up because they didn't expect anyone to have it? Because if there's a genuine possibility Leo can train Roll-up in there, it may be worthwhile holding off on opening boxes at all until she has a chance to the next day. An hour of opening boxes would be far more than she's had in the entire Dungeon so far out together.
That is an absolutely hilarious exploit that we need to try.

What if it starts generating boxes for her to keep opening as the equivalent of the sparring partner? Once the generated items go on her inventory borant can't touch them without *really* fucking themselves over.

Rip, ninjad. This would be a funny omake though. Leo strolls out of the training hall dripping in celestials

"Sup"

We definitely don't want to transfer Taylor's boxes, we need whatever is in that Lazarus box.

I'm happy with transferring Moose's stuff
We want to stick to colored lines, the other one means 'Poppy'. Ooh I wonder if EJ is being tricksy and only some lines have drugs, those related obliquely to drugs in the name

I agree that taylor shoul get his legendary box loot, but we shoul still focus on leveling up leo's skill, using drew's and moose's boxes
Also, maybe drew is high and thats why he isn't answering? woul be weird to be sleeping after 1 hour training if he just got a full night sleep

maybe he decided that after one hour of intense workout he should sit down a minute. Then the system went "you want 2hrs of acceleated sleep? Ok!"

Why do I have the feeling that Levi ensured Drew would take a second nap so that there's no way Taylor would transfer his boxes?

I got my eyes on you Mr. Manatee. Your eyestalks are twitching suspiciously.

Another option that we haven't talked about is making contact with that Astronomy group who said we could farm them for boxes. See if they can have a couple of people start stacking them up or if they've already done that since we talked about it last floor. We can use the Desperado Club as meet up.

I think Drew is being sulky cuz he fucked up, again. He thinks he's this badass, super creative guy and wants to show off to everyone how cool he is but then things go Splat (as Leo would say.)

Whew, finally caught up with this quest! It's an excellent read, and I'm really enjoying the characters and dialogue. Honestly I think you do pretty good at capturing the whole emotional angle of the situation. The opening prologue chapter with Taylor visiting his parents for what might be the last time actually made me tear up a bit.

If anyone in the astronomy group has plunder we are so incredibly set!

Or we use the chat to temporarily invite the boxed folks to team trickshot, they enter our shared home, we transfer the boxes and let them have a nap and a good shower before they return to astro army.

Thank you! Much appreciated. How did you find us?

Yes, it (character actor) cannot be copied.
What?! When was this mentioned? D:

Since this is a thing that I've been gleefully waiting for someone to ask ever since I first put the box-reassignment ability into DCK and now DCY, I'll go ahead and answer it even though the characters don't know: yes, if the top of a lootbox is closed then it counts as unopened for purposes of Taylor's ability to reassign loot boxes. In other words, yes, he can reassign the boxes that are waiting to be opened in the middle of an opening session.
This is the way to get as much high-level gear for as much of the party as possible. Leo will miss out on Legendary stuff, but she'll be able to get a few Gold boxes which should still be great.

Do I understand correctly that, under this plan, Leo rolls up her + Taylor's boxes, and then Taylor transfers them all back to himself to open them?

No, she doesn't transfer them all. Leo gets to open all boxes Gold and below and then Taylor transfers the 2 Platinum and 1 Legendary back to himself after that. Then he opens those
That's entirely my fault, I missed the third paragraph
