[X] Plan: I am SPEED
-[X] You will go to the Hall, to save Artemis's brother. She'd be devastated if something happened to him, and the thought of a place of knowledge being used as a trap is offensive to your sensibilities as a scholar. Getting accredited will also be good, as well as checking in with the Revisionists there. (Choose 3 Learning Options and 1 Social Option)
--[X] You'll get Lacroix's help and get there as fast as possible. You'll have to leave Belle and Kelton behind, but you can guarantee that you'll get there in time to prevent any trouble, and having Lacroix around will help you be taken seriously.
-[X] Social Options: Who do you get to know better?
--[X] Lacroix Skyfire (Only if flying with him)
-[X] Learning Options (Can choose the same option multiple times to focus on it)
--[X] Continue learning Yellow magic
--[X] Begin learning Runewrighting
--[X] Continue along the Path of Awakening
-[X] Boons: (Choose one for free)
--[X] A boon unique to your path forward appears.

I'll take that bet. When Ryza tells Belle she's heading into the heart of the country at war with them with only a nominal ally to protect her. Well, assuming Plan SPEED wins.
"Are you fu--freely traveling without having been mind-whammied by the mage?"

I'm waiting to sleep and wake and see if tomorrow's version of me has any better ideas about which plan to pick.

Well, to be fair, the last time Archduke Letoro talked about going to war Artemis had been at risk.
I mean, I guess. But Ryza should be aware that there are plenty of things that could start war that aren't Artemis getting kidnapped again, that Artemis is unlikely to be kidnapped from what is probably the largest and best-defended castle in the southern kingdoms, and that an imminent war would be bad for a lot of people.

It feels more like a kid worrying about the people they know first. Which is a normal reaction, for either a 93-year-old manakete or a 9-year-old human, but not so much for the small adult which Ryza sometimes acts like.

Do keep in mind, we're already a bit behind the times. Taking the Long Way means that the Event might already be in progress by the time we arrive, while moving right the fuck now might let us get there in time to spoke their wheels. That is, in fact, a feature of Going FAS

Personally I'd take additional boons and banes (Like Ryza's nature dismissed, friendly voices in the Empire, and unique boon against old enemy returns, and unique bane or something like that) but it looks like the window for that has closed by now. Chaos is a ladder, More things going on = More opportunities/chances for interesting things (even if it may also increase the difficulty), etc etc.

also denied my siri hangout once more

Alcor will remember this. :V

[] The friendly voices from the Empire start getting louder.
This boon is the most important one, so I'm voting for the only plan that has it.
[X] Plan: Storming the Hall with Backup

@SoaringHawk218, would Ryza arrive even faster if she gave up on stealth and flew straight to the Hall herself?

Artemis's voice drifting from the north: "Don't even think about it Ryza!"

But seriously, it'd be pretty close. Firescale is faster than Ryza's heart form, though not as fast as her half-shifted form. However, the wyvern doesn't have to take breaks every few hours to rest and recharge, and Lacroix knows the way to the Hall much better.

If everything went perfectly, Ryza'd probably arrive a few hours or so earlier if she went herself, but everyone would tell her that things aren't going to go perfectly.

EDIT: Although... Ryza wouldn't have to set up a meeting place to meet Lacroix, so that would cut a few days off... Yeah, she'd probably arrive 2-3 days faster if she could perfectly find her way/avoid getting ganked by people who really don't like dragons.

-[] The friendly voices from the Empire start getting louder.
-[] A boon unique to your path forward appears.

[] Banes: (For every Bane chosen, choose an additional Boon)
-[] Stories of your true nature find fertile ground in the Empire.

Would friendly voices help with your true nature being known in the Empire?

They'd help a bit, since they're the true believers of Thaddeus Wyrmblood's push to bring lasting peace to the continent without punching everyone else into submission to do it, but it would still be dangerous. Not "instant bad-end" dangerous: remember I don't give trap options, but the more the Empire knows about you, the more they're on the lookout for you and the higher on the list of People To Suffer A "Tragic Accident" you climb.

About a day left, and plan GottaGoFast has a pretty commanding lead. Sad QM noises that nobody's interested in prophecy.

I'm not against Prophecy, but a Prophecy that we don't necessarily find out about in character for a long time isn't a very good thing to throw a Boon at!

When has knowing a prophecy ever helped literally anyone?
