Disney Villains Victorious: Gridlocked - Rise of Heroes

I wonder if he even fit in that he was forced to stand outside for hours as a lawn gnome. Because there's got taken away. Even though his dad had a prize winning dog, the same dog he called Only Son. Like that is some next level abuse even by Doofs standards.

Apparently he wasn't the only kid that happened to. There was another kid next door, Kenny, who was forced to be a lawn stableboy statue.

I deliberately left it ambiguous just how much he told them specifically so that if there's ever a need to drop horrifying new lore about his childhood he can do so and still get appropriate responses. Monogram knows a good chunk of it, but I like to imagine there's depths of traumatic Backstory that even he hasn't heard yet.
Cobra hears about Onlyson: "So your father gaslit you and your brother, playing you off each other when the only being he considered as being worthy of his son was a dog." *sound of metal warping as he clenches the steel table* "I hope to god I never get sent to Drusselstein or there's going to be a couple murders."
Oh yes, as horrible as most of Heinz' backstory is to anyone with any amount of heart in them, I imagine Cobra is especially horrified by what he hears.

The aliens are the most important, thus I'm sending the diplo master, the muscle (to keep Mr. X restrained by force if necessary) , and the alien enthusiast to meet them. This does mean the Show Stopper mission is a bit weaker unfortunately, but Betty is really strong intrigue wise, something probably necessary against Doom, Monogram loves to sing and will probably interact well with toons, might even start a musical number or two with them. And Woodrow is merely fine, but I like the turn a bare failure into a succes trait, even if the +5 to the DC could be a pain.

Toons going under because of Doom woulr be sad yes, and a pain, but even if he wins in spite of us he still won't be as big a problem as the aliens could be. We need to make sure that succeeds.

Edit: I could be convinced to swap Mr. X and Woody really, now that I think on it further.

[X] Plan First Missions

Honestly it does make more sense to send Doof on a mission that probably requires good Diplomacy to succeed. Who Framed Roger Rabbit? is a mystery after all, so sending three damn good Intrigue scores/average to slightly above average Diplomacy scores makes sense to deal with it.
*laughter* Amazing! Simply amazing! Slight critique, Betty would've known a few of those stories as well, due to them venting to each other about their siblings (Doof mentioning his mother's love being inexplicably linked to kickball at the very least). Take 20 XP!
I will happily take it! And yeah, Betty would probably know at least a couple stories so he presumably interrupted himself at least once or twice to say "You remember that backstory right Betty?" Or something to that effect

Well now, i know it's not worth it, for me. 5 of those quality of omake's to make a single roll 1 point easier.

I wonder what the government will be doing to prepare for the... everything that's going to be happening in the next half a century? How much do they know?

...ah yeah. One day we, or Mr. X if he gets his alien org running, will have to deal with Stitch and that entire incident. Which will be a pain in the ass as Jumba is straight up evil and isn't going to want to work with us (or at the least will eventually betray us) and I have a hard time imagining Stitch eventually becoming good any other way then how Lilo taught him in canon.

Since they can't access the Book of Doofenshmirtz without us (unless they manage to find someone else with Doof's rather rare hand shape) they probably don't know anything we aren't willing to tell. Our "hero entrepreneur" plan apparently has enough chance of success that as long as we don't really screw the pooch we can probably be in position to nudge things away from the distressingly numerous Bad Ends of the greater Disney canon.

Mr. X's diplomacy problems might atleast be curtailed by sheer numbers?

...well, we can hope atleast. Maybe the Intrigue score will help cover.

We just have to sit X down and make it clear that there will be absolutely no dissections, not even if they volunteer. Hopefully the knowledge that he's right about the existence of alien life will be enough to keep him in line, even if he can't really brag about it to anyone not already in the know.

Plus, it's the very first missions of the quest. I'm not expecting our QM to go easy on us, but I figure as long as we're smart about this we have at least a chance at success.

It occurs to me we didn't ask about the specific benefits and drawbacks of entrusting the BoD to a Doof Trooper.
It did mention at least one benefit and drawback in the post itself though.

Pro: That hero(and team) would gain access to the knowledge inside the book, allowing them to act on it.
Con: The government is liable to take that character and make them a government patsy, utilizing the journal without us. Need someone you can trust to not have that happen.

Edited Note: We did not give it to one of the best candidates for those we can trust. In fact we gave it to the person we can trust the least, in addition to trying to force him to not act normally. This is rightfully going to have us lose the book.

To be fair, while that whole thing was incredibly fucked, they specifically needed a gnome for mystical threats. A guard dog wouldn't work.
This isn't stitch. This is first contact where bubbles in canon convinced them that mosquitoes were endangered and that they were essentially a wildlife preserve. Thus keeping them off of our lawn
Which honestly never made sense to me. What is GalFed's metric for endangeredness? Considering they were otherwise willing to render humans and dogs and such extinct, it can't just be "life that only exists on that one planet". Also it's kind of weird this is happening now since Bubbles already lost his hair and it's been over a decade since 1973.

Eh, Stitch's arrival is subtle enough we might only catch on when Jumba or Gantu arrive, giving time for Lilo to get under his skin. Plus, Jumba can be redeemed, and doof is the type to give chances like that.
