Magical Girl Flesh Horror~!

I think my favorite takeaway from this chapter is that the phrase "It's not a magical girl phase, MOM" is probably said in this city unironically. As for future plans, we should probably try to either beef ourselves up in some way to ready ourselves for our outing as a magical girl or give us some sort of specialty to make us stand out (maybe some form of magical singing attack?). We should also go look for our first evil villain to fight when we do.

Okay if people want to keep the scout as an eye in the sky then fine, but it probably doesn't need Swarm for now.
Then I move the Shield from our Super Spy to our Core. Seems safe enough, and our core is more important to protect. Also we have more assets now so maybe spreading the protection around a little would be good.
The Ghost Explorer Doesn't need Ground-Penetrating Radar. We have tunnels connecting to the sewers and basements, which is where we will be exploring.
But I would like to make sure it's invisible. Just in case someone walks down into the basement while we are exploring. Or in case one of the ??? locations is like, the underground cult headquarters or something.

Instead of augmenting the Super Spy I would like to make a separate Doctor asset. That way we don't tie up the super spy.
I imagine it as us having breakfast with Martin this day and introducing him to the Doctor before we leave.

Anyway, I would like to tie up what problems we can before moving on to the next ones. Spend the next few days helping Martin and collecting biomass. Then we can move on to looking for Evil and developing infrastructure.

I was a bit torn on these plans, but ultimately I think making our own biomass production is a good idea. I don't want to wear out our welcome by patrolling our street every turn, and I do want to see what is going on with the theater.

Yeah, I want to point out that the last update began by basically telling us *it may be time to stop staying too much in a routine*, so a vote to do exactly that doesn't seems like a thing to do, we have patrolled our streets enough, it's time to go elsewhere, and look! We are searching for a vilain and know of a potential one, why not go and see if it's true? That way we get a whole week to prepare our approach on how to do our debut.

Martin is not a problem that will be solved just by doing one thing like that, it's a long term thing to work on in the background, and we already spent several turn just on him, time to move on and let him live a little, give him time to trust us and appreciate us, if we try to heal him completely right now, he probably will clam up if not flee outright, we're too new and this seems too good, he'll never believe it's true.

Plus we have a job and everything. Sure it's pretty informal, but maybe we should try to work out some sort of schedule? Regularly working a job is a completely normal thing to do. And unlike most normal people we can be in multiple places at once so it won't even tie up a lot of our time.

So I don't see any reason why we can't say, have the super spy working 3-5 days a week, while our other assets go out and explore and stuff. Remember, our super spy isn't us. Lets just make a second humanoid asset for going and exploring the markets and other places.

Plus working a job is just better for biomass generation then any plant we have made before. Even the best plant only made 1 biomass every 2 turns. Whereas working makes a minimum of 2 per turn. Sometimes more like on some days like when the boxing ring happens.

As for Martin, I don't think the Doctor asset will instantly solve all of his problems. But we aren't going to make progress with him unless we try.
My realistic hope for Martin is that we will be able to get a better idea of what he needs and maybe improve things for him a little.

Make his situation a little more stable. Like, right now we know he isn't following Sabrina's directions on his medicine. That worries me. Once things have been set on a more positive track then we can let it develop in the background.

We can check out Herman's Theater of the Soul sometime in the next 3 days or so. I would want more keywords for it too when we do so then just Soul Senses. Maybe something to do with magical machines.

Not really a suggestion for the current plan(s), but I feel that it'd probably be a good idea to just straight up test what Magical Girl would do as a keyword, seeing how there's that new one week goal of going out publicly as one.

Personally I don't think we should abandon the work routine. I just think we should do it once every two or three days rather than every day. I'm actually more concerned with freeloading meals off Sabrina's mom.
 
I will note; since we know it exists, there's nothing stopping us from making more assets with Fals Humanoid. No better alibi for not being the Magical Girl than being seen at the same time!
And we really should work on clothes.

Still, I'm not too worried. I assumed that we would just use our sense of social mores to not visit if we feel like we are being a burden. Or alternatively show up not at meal times just to talk to Sabrina. Nothing says we have to eat there every day.

You can specify if you want to skip/avoid certain things, or bring up specific topics! If not, it will be left up to me.
 
Hey, we should take over the sewer system entirely. Spread underground threw the sewers doing our best not to disturb it externally, perhaps consume the leads and camouflageourself as the walls? Or maybe pretending to be some weed?

Just imagine how much biomass we'd get out of that!

It isn't, not really, not when it's a deadline, we have several things we'll have to check, and we don't even know where the theater is or if it's really evil.

The first thing you do in an operation is scouting the place, you want as much time as possible to decide what you'll do.


And in the end, I find the patrolling routine boring, and I really want to make some actual passive growth. Martin can wait a little, no need to blow all our words on healing him today when we can scout the target today, leaving us more time to plan, and heal him tommorow.

He's been like this for a year, one day ain't gonna kill him.

On reflection I don't entirely disagree with your priorities. I guess we can do the stuff in my plan on another turn. Maybe be a little more daring for now.

I guess my only critiques of your plan then would be Ground-Penetrating Radar on the Ghost, and wanting more keywords on the super spy.

Ground-Penetrating Radar to Traceless because we will be looking through peoples basements and stuff. Ground-Penetrating Radar also won't be necessary as we should already have things mapped out with that sense. Was unsure of if Traceless or invisible would be better, but I figured that if we heard someone coming we could hide inside a wall or something.
Recycle Swarm for Artificer on the Super Spy. My hope would be to figure out more of the why and how of the theater of the soul. It's supposed to be because of some sort of machine.

Sold on your version, swarm isn't that necessary so it can give us the word on super spy without problems, and I put the radar partially because of lack of other ideas, was thinking on seeing what other proposed.

For the magical girl form: it helps that we technically don't need clothes for this, we can form some out of our flesh, nobody will know, hell, I'm even curious on what adding *clothed* to an asset like that would do.
