Magical Girl Flesh Horror~!

But I wonder if we can avoid the cost by making the enchantment something independent and not connected to us. Say, write a physical contract on paper and turn it into a magical item which enforces it's conditions on the signer. Or make the magic some sort of self sustaining spell that works purely on Jeremy.

We don't have the time to experiment and keeping the binding words on our core is still worth it anyway, we can use it later on other occasion, parts of why I decided to go for pactmaker in my plan, it is flexible and can allows us to be a magical girl mascot with an asset made for it!

We can spread the love and justice to all the young boys and girls! Recruit child soldiers companions on our road to help this place be better!

Anyway, even if we do want to have Binder or something on our core long term, we should probably stick to the one keyword, and instead give the super spy a bunch of stuff to modulate it. That way we don't have too much of our biomass tied up long term. It would be nice if we could select something that may have other uses in the future. Core keywords are supposed to become parts of our playstyle right?

Well, see my little speech right above on pactmaker for if you want only one word, in that case I'd replace geas by another words to help grow, maybe bountiful?

Edit:

And if we go for Pactmaker, we can say *I offer you an accord*, always a good thing to be able to give, after all:

Edit2:

I was waiting for someone to answer to put it in a new post, but since no one is, here the revised plan:

[] Plan: mascots, not devil, honest!
-[] Recycle: interrogator, ESP.
-[] Recycle the scavenger.
-[] Modify core, add: pactmaker, bountiful, growth, plentiful, roots, split, recorder.
-[] Take care of prisoner with Super-spy: go see Jeremy and propose to place him under a geas, the contract is thus: *he doesn't tell anyone else about us, we don't tell about his activities outside the guard*

I think I've asked all the questions I need to for now, Mister Jeremy.
We still need to ask if he suspects there is some means someone may discover us, regular check up from mind readers on him, need to report what he did here.

That we found the eye doesn't necessarily say anything.
Alright, probably better to put some kind of compulsoin on our prisoner and then send him away before he can prep another countermeasure. He might well weasel out later, but that's honestly kind of inevitable, and buying ourselves some time should be good enough.

That'd also free our heavy asset(s) for investigating the man outside.
Give him fake memory, make him forgot everything that happened here and compel him to ignore any problems with that version of events, ideally, he wouldn't want to know what happened here.

The building was empty, he found some cute rats who lived happily ever after, and lost his eye to a disturbingly persistent crow.

From what I know of this site, you're not going to gain much traction for any real mind control, SV in general is pretty much always against it. Even getting some mild one can be a chore sometimes.

Why? We don't make any changes to him, just compel him to not think too hard about the fake memory of this encounter.

I would understand it if I asked to mind control him into willing drone of us, or go all heartbreaker from worm and change his emotions and personality directly, but I am suggesting just changing the compulsion a little and and wiping his memory, it isn't too different than a geas or a compulsion.

I am not saying I would personally be completely opposed to it, I am saying that from what I know of the voting habits on this site, it wouldn't gain traction from the moment you begin changing anything in his mind.

Well, the vote seems to be open, so let's make it official:

[x] Plan: mascots, not devil, honest!
-[x] Recycle: interrogator, ESP.
-[x] Recycle the scavenger.
-[x] Modify core, add: pactmaker, bountiful, growth, plentiful, roots, split, recorder.
-[x] Take care of prisoner with Super-spy: go see Jeremy and propose to place him under a pact, the contract is thus: *he doesn't tell anyone else about us, we don't tell about his activities outside the guard*

Just a little change from telling we put him under a geas to under a pact, to go with the fact I removed the geas keyword and only kept pactmaker.

[X] Plan extra safety
-[X] ask him if he thinks there is any way people might know about this meeting, regular mind reading, him needing to report, anything that he thinks might reveal us.
-[X] if the answer is no, recover super spy
-[x] Recycle: interrogator, ESP.
-[x] Recycle the scavenger.
-[x] Modify core, add: pactmaker, bountiful, growth, plentiful, roots, split, recorder.
-[x] Take care of prisoner with Super-spy: go see Jeremy and propose to place him under a pact, the contract is thus: *he will forget today, instead he will remember the house was empty, a presistent crow somehow took his eye after he fell asleep on a bench, he will not question this version of events, in addition, if he somehow does come by information about us anyway, he will not tell about it to anyone who doesn't already know that he knows the information, should he break this deal, we would know and he would fall to permanent sleep until we awaken him, in return we would let him go"

I think it's too intricate for our first contract, I much prefer going for the K.I.S.S principle, less moving parts to create problems with the pact.

Your contract also kind of feel easily meddled with, like it wouldn't have protected from the eye, the biggest addition to the plan in my opinion is that part
ask him if he thinks there is any way people might know about this meeting, regular mind reading, him needing to report, anything that he thinks might reveal us.
We already got lie detection and everything, he might have more hidden contingencies like the eye.

Ehh. I would rather not put some of those keywords on the core. Split and growth seem iffy.
Plus a lot of those keywords aren't useful for solving the situation we have here. Lets resolve things here before we start investing in long term growth.

[x] Plan: The Devil and the Dealer.
-[x] Recycle: Interrogator, ESP.
-[x] Recycle The Scavenger.
-[x] Modify core with: Pactmaker, Recorder.
-[X] Modify Super Spy with: Lawyer, Persuasive, Convincing, Mage.
-[x] Take care of prisoner with Super-spy: go see Jeremy and propose to make a pact to not tell anyone about us in exchange for letting him go. Discuss the terms and make sure he can't figure out any loopholes.

The trade off of Pactmaker is that we probably need to get him to agree to it. You don't place him under a pact, you make a pact by mutual (if not necessarily equal) agreement. So augmenting the Super Spy to facilitate the pact is necessary.
Lawyer to help write a comprehensive pact. Persuasive and Convincing to convince him to take the deal. Mage to improve our control, and just in case it results in anything interesting.

Then we can recycle most of these words next turn to put into other stuff like growth.

That's where the let you go part happen, if he says no we make sad face and tell him that we would like the pact more than the alternative, be look sufficiently inhuman while saying it and he will probably change his mind.
Would you also added

That part without recycling the interrogation super spy.

If you added it you get my vote, lawyer seems like a good addition to the pact.

Split I am only putting here because might as well while it's not used somewhere else, the QM said that experimenting was our bread and butter, so this kind of idle *what does this do?* is perfectly in line with what I think is the intended ambiance of the quest.

That however, is something I can agree with, so:

[x] Plan: The Devil and the Dealer, split version.
-[x] Recycle: Interrogator, ESP.
-[x] Recycle The Scavenger.
-[x] Modify core with: Pactmaker, Recorder, Split.

Only difference with yours is Split on our core.

[x] Plan: The Devil and the Dealer, split version.

I like both plans but that one is slighty better IMO.

I've been trying to keep the exact specifics vague to give flexibility in execution. The Persuasive and Convincing are to help with "sad face" part though yes.
We are keeping lie detector for now though. So maybe instead I will add a more general statement about discussing the terms with him and making sure it is airtight.

Hopefully it will catch any other potential contingencies if he have them.

This seems like it takes care of the main problems we're facing at the moment, so I'll go with this one until someone makes a convincing argument for something else.
Also, after we finish this up, we have the opportunity to take our first steps as a magical girl and help out that guy in the alleyway!

I propose using the words: Eldritch, unknowable, madness inducing, horrifying, Cosmic horror and lovecraftian! Nothing can go wrong with such a combination! I am sure we'll make him feels so good he'll have several revelations and reach enlightenment! :V

He might even regrow his eye back, or even multiple eyes, on his brain
