Who exactly rolled the 95 in battle? (I thought it was one of the 2 Ethiopian armies in their current civil war.) If so, what basis do we have to assume that a decisive victory for one of them is advantageous to us?
In the absence of other information, I would think that's the worst possible outcome of that battle for us, whereas we would prefer both sides to be locked in grinding attritional warfare with each other while leaving Ethiopia open to our forces.
In particular, I'm worried that a decisive victory for one side could be followed by rapidly rallying forces under their banner to fight the invaders (that is, us).
