I like the vote that won though I wish I could have added in a special scene that would have been gotten in the ends as well, like if you completed a hard puzzle like the path of pain from hollow knight where you would see a mysterious figure in a clock climbing out of a manhole and taking a breather before they hear a sound near the alleyway they are in and then begin to climb the wall to escape.

Only to see that the sound was a girl being chased into the alleyway by two guys until she comes to a dead and and begins to beg for them to leave her alone which the my only laugh at and say that Spider-Man isn't coming to help before the mysterious figure webs up both of the guys to the building.

The girl release shouts out "Thank your, Spider-Man!" As the clock figured climbs back up the building.

The clock figure once's she's out of eveyone sight, looking over that pet of the city mumbles out in a female voice, "Spider-Man, huh." The clock figure says as they let the hood of their clock fall back to reveal a girl who looks exactly like Gwen Stacy, before she shoots out a web to web swing away, deeper into New York City.

You know if it was allowed by marvel.

104- Captain America, Wolverine, and Gaming.

You had decided that you weren't going to get a new script done. You weren't stupid after all.

After that, you also decided that you were going to at least attempt to gain the rights to Captain America and The Wolverine.

It probably won't work, but it'd at least be worth a try.

First things first, you had to see if Sony itself would be amicable to trying this.

Sony Negotiation Roll: 108.

Well... apparently, they were all for trying to gain the rights to Captain America and Wolverine.

They didn't see any way it'd hurt to try, so you went to Marvel and began negotiations.

Marvel Negotiation Roll (Captain America Rights): 110!

...And they literally gave you Captain America, The Howling Commandos, and all of his villains right as you walked in.

This included Red Skull, Baron Zemo, all of HYDRA, Doctor Faustus, Hate-Monger, Flag-Smasher, the Serpent Society, the Winter Soldier, Viper/Madame Hydra, Baron Von Strucker, Crossbones, Arnim Zola, and a plethora of other villains.

Apparently, they thought the Captain America property was cursed after their failure with the character, and wanted you to deal with that bad luck, instead of them.

...You just took the rights with a smile, and left the building, heading off to 20th Century FOX to attempt to get the rights to Wolverine.

You weren't optimistic about your chances at actually getting the rights, but... fuck it.

It's already worked once today, after all.

FOX Negotiation Roll (Wolverine Rights): 110!

You had entered the building, to see their higher-ups already there.

Apparently, they'd been notified beforehand of your arrival, and... wanted to hand you the rights to Wolverine, and all the characters connected to him themselves.

This meant you weren't just getting Wolverine. You were getting Laura Kinney, Sabertooth, Silver Samurai, William Stryker, Lady Deathstrike, Draken, and various other characters, purely connected to Wolverine.

They even added Shadowcat and Jubilee, due to their ties to Wolverine in the comics, which you were surprised they added... but you weren't going to complain about it.

You weren't going to ask them why, you just took the rights and left, heading back to your office at Sony.

...You had no idea how the fuck this happened, but, once again... you weren't going to complain, whatsoever.

After that, you had decided to get to work on getting a new Spider-Man Game made.

The idea you had, was that you'd have Peter Parker awaken within a laboratory of some kind, with absolutely no idea as to how he had gotten there, he quickly discovers that the lab is infested with all manner of beasts, ranging from The Last of Us style zombies, to God of War style monsters.

Through careful exploration, Peter comes to understand that this is more than just some mad scientist's experiment gone wrong, as the true scale of the operation is revealed to be an unauthorized series of corporate experiments within the heart of New York's sewer system, utilizing a fair amount of stolen research from across all manner of disciplines under the guidance of Miles Warren.

Roughly midway through the game, with further exploration and narrative progression, Peter makes two discoveries: the first, is that the vast majority of enemies he's been fighting up until now are normal people that have been extensively genetically modified in a bid to create stable supersoldiers, and Second, that the vast majority of experiments have been derived from not only his DNA, but also derived from the DNA of other Enhanced throughout the world.

Horrified at this revelation, Peter storms his way through the rest of the compound, determined to put a stop to this madness... and, at the end of the game, after managing to finally escape, he discovers that he's not the original Peter Parker, just the most successful experiment in a long line of Spider-Man Clones.

Depending on the choices the player made through the narrative, various moral choices, and even their equipment. The Clone will choose a different identity as their own; from Kaine, to Ben Reilly, from Scorpion to Doppelganger. And a plethora more.

But you already decided that, canonically to the SCU, the one to escape the facility is Ben Reilly, the other clones would be hinted to be other characters, such as... Kaine being the true identity of Mac Gargan, as everyone who had gone through the facility, has had their memories extensively modified.

You also decided to have the death mechanic reflect the protagonist's nature as a clone, as each time the character is 'revived' it will be implied that they were replaced by yet another clone of themself.

Throughout the game, the Clone would encounter various other clones, including Mike Murdock, Laura Kinney, Danielle Fenton, and others. who they have the chance to ally to their cause.

At 100% Completion, the player would unlock the secret ending, discovering that Norman Osborn not only saw the entire operation, but that he was directly responsible for having the Clones released in the first place, using them as unknowing pawns to tie up all the loose ends that trace back to OsCorp. So he's fully aware that Peter Parker is Spider-Man.

And now, you had to find a company that was interested in making the new Spider-Man game.

Game Company Interest: 104.

And just like the other times, the game companies had come out of the woodworks, wanting to work on the new game.

You had a lot of options to choose from, in terms of game companies to work on the game.

What company do you want to hire to create this game?

@Yite
So...
Can we Write-in FromSoftware as the studio, and what would their bonus entail?
Because, to me, The game setup just screams soulsborne kind of game.

[X] Plan: Borne of Spider's blood

it might have a late start but let's see if the idea if a Soulsbourne Spiderman game can gain traction. Because the premise of this game seems quite literally made for this.

Its early 2015 so Kadokawa has already acquired From Software last year in our timeline... but I wonder if things are different here. Perhaps in this timeline, Sony and not Bandai might become From Software's publisher? A connection with Miyazaki might be as valuable as Kojima if not more so in the longer run.

Also, it's entirely possible that the requirements of a Spiderman game give From Software invaluable experience for making an even better Sekiro, whose concept is so dependent on player character movement.

Edit: I did a check, and Sony Computer Entertainment was the publisher of Bloodborne. So there's a chance to put From Software firmly in Sony's camp rather than Bandai, and Bloodborne was a collaboration between From Software and Sony. From Software being given a Spiderman game easily could have been an extension of this relationship.

While I would like to see this game produced by Hideo Kojima, 2015's the year they stopped working on AAA games to expand their mobile gaming division (essentially dismissing Kojima from working on the next Metal Gear), and while FromSoftware is a great company, the stiffness/slowness of their player character movement isn't something that would reflect on Spider-Man's abilities very well (not without a massive overhaul that would like delay the next Souls game). This isn't even going into a Sony Exec mindset where they would more than likely want to go with not only an owned company but one that produces consistent results, doesn't lock out the overall vast majority of players from participating in the game behind an ultra hard difficulty barrier (reducing purchasing).

Also went with less consoles because 2015's when the vast majority of companies had transitioned fully into Eighth Generation consoles given that two years in most of these companies had stopped supporting the previous generation.

At this point in time, Sony might well have been courting From Software, because From Software was working with Sony on Bloodborne for the past three years. I can see some Sony executives from the JP side seriously recommending the prospect of commissioning From Software to the Producer if Sony considered extending or further developing their collaborative relationship with From Software, possibly with an eye to future aquisition.

The real surprise I get from an update like this is how we keep getting IPs handed to us. I'm honestly not sure how we can keep juggling all these IPs without going into massive debt or a flop.

At least we are not Disney and what they did with the Star Wars brand.

...I still have no idea how the Avengers movie in this quest was approved with a 100 grand budget and no one made a single comment about that disaster? Like... what kind of $#*@ing rolls would create a budget like that!? Five Natural 1s!?

At this point, I'm wondering if we will just gloss over the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and just have the Shedder deal with the other heroes instead. This version of New York is very cramped with other heroes after all.

That is not even going into acquiring Captain America and Wolverine with the entire gallery from both films? Although a WW2 plot with Captain America, Wolverine, and Magneto could have some interesting potential. It probably would have to be a distant prequel movie that is a self-contained story though.
