On second thought we do need to placate the Gunpowder Eucharist (and the Ravs of Labor) as a more pressing issue right at the moment. I hope we can put more effort into expanding Doctrine over the next couple of turns and move towards mass education and the priesthood of all believers.

I'll also throw in a pitch for the Northwest here. The caste issue seems likely to come to a head a lot sooner than serfdom, and there's already more pressure and potential allies to do something about it. We should pay attention to be able to seize an opportunity to push toward confrontation with the Perusian Rite. Also I like the idea of paying more attention to the outside world, since foreign powers can interfere with political developments on a scale all but the most powerful Banners or Sects cannot; and foreign ideas might offer key opportunities to develop doctrine and expand ideas that might not be found in Vaspukaran's domestic environment. Also Mystic Amalism is becoming very influential and may entrench itself pretty heavily in the region and that development bears close watching both for opportunities and threats to the revolution.

And finally since not pressing for mass education in the other action, doing so with Ma'on makes the most sense. And picking up the skills to effectively mobilize bodies on the streets of the capital might not allow the same reach as press skills, putting tens of thousands of marchers in sight of the Temple Mount is also a very effective multiplier of Sect influence.

As always , all issues are important and should be dealt with now. But I want to focus on the integration of Ma'on and the revival of pugilism for the moment.
 
Hmm I think it's wisest to pick the Center to be the one we initially focus our expansion of influence on because edit:the one we pick as our initial focus is likely to become our main "base" & it quite literally surrounds our current core base in Nachivan.

Meanwhile, a narrative bonus to picking the Second Gender is that we add into our influencing works by another HaKhofshim ally & fellow Mushad Bridge Oathtaker after Nasir; Oshana.

Also I think either tackling Orphanage or ending Child Labor is a better option regarding Ma'on's agitation for now because they're both the prerequisite to meaningful effectiveness for expanding access to education.

It's a hard choice between mass education and women's rites... but we've ignored womens issues for long enough. And we're still a Pugilist sect at hard, we want to keep our skills at using local power to combat corrupt and regressive institutions honed and remind others they exist.

I can agree with points about the Center and Women's Rights, but the Orphanage System is an abomination we must take radical direct action against.

A simple brawler looks at his own arms and legs, and strikes with abandon, hoping to hit and win. A crafty fighter looks at his opponents limbs, to anticipite, to disturb and to win victory with ease. But the angel has taught us, that to truly master the struggle, one must master his own center. For ones limbs might move the fastest, but balance rests in the core, and without the core the strongest strike might topple over not the enemy, but us.

Let us strengthen our core, let us build on the foundation that the angel has laid for us, and let us stand tall in the center of this holy kingdom.

I do like the idea of working with Mystic Amalism and inserting ourselves into the Northwest's implosion yeah.

Thinking on it more closely. I think the Doctrinal ideas that the Northwest will bring, Castes, Witches, and etc, will do a lot to help us expand our reach and power. Focusing solely on Pugilism and the plight of the workers and toilers I feel will give us tunnel vision. Its not to say that a worker-focused doctrine is bad or that it limits us, but as Pugilists, we are already well situated to look at things from that perspective. So its more advantageous for the Sect to have a view of the wider world, which Mystic Amalism offers.

Mystic Amalism is also a very strong growing power, and Cetash has said multiple times that the Amalists are the ones most open to ideological cooperation with us. Which is extremely useful, and it opens the possibility of the Sect expanding its power and reach into the Northwest with potential friends. Which is not something to be scoffed at.

A too strong focus on the center has the chance of leaving the Sect isolated from greater doctrinal workings and alliances outside of the core. Pugilism is a populist movement, and it would really help it catch fire if, in addition to labor issues, it took on the social issues of the wider world and the long underrepresented segments of the population that are flocking to Mystic Amalism.

    My fellow creatures of god, a dreadful incorporeal beast has Vaspukaran in its grasp! It is a beast who has sown discord among all the peoples of the Kingdom of God and impoverished the pious masses while their wealth lines the pockets of the false prophets of the golden calf. This beast, of course, is the Gold Standard. Many sensible propositions have been put forward by fellow supporters as to the ways Free Silver would restore the dismal state of our ailing economy, but it is my firm belief that not enough discussion has been had about the spiritual necessity of Free Silver in immanentizing The World to Come.

    Every part of God's creation carries within it certain immutable energies by which it attracts and repels other manifestations of creation, gold and silver being no exception. In fact, the energies of gold and silver have long been recognized by peoples of different tongues across different times as so fundamental to the order of the universe that they have been linked to the similar energies of the masculine and feminine. It is therefore no surprise that the Kingdom of God itself would choose a metal so close to God as gold as the basis for the currency, but here the faults of mere imperfect humans have brought about an obvious stain on the perfection of the Kingdom of God, for in this system gold is without its natural companion of silver. Bereft of a silver counterweight, the economy of the Kingdom of God was flooded by the essence of gold for so long that the economy too became unbalanced and lopsided.

    To restore balance to the Kingdom of God and align its essence in preparation of the world to come it is therefore imperative that we introduce silver by means of the well-known and popular policy of Free Silver, without which all hope for a better future will surely be lost. Just like the masculine yearns the feminine the gold of Vaspukaran's economy yearns for silver. Like a man tossing and turning in the night haunted by the desire to embrace the ephemeral feminine self of his dreams, the economy of Vaspukaran tosses and turns by way of financial crisis and ruin calling out silver and we will no doubt be beset by misfortune no matter how many well-intentioned financial measures are enacted by the Sanhedron or others until this imbalance has been spiritually addressed.

    Therefore I urge every brother and sister of the HaKhofshim: take up the cause of Free Silver as your own! Free your spirit, free your mind and free the plentiful silver of the Kingom of God to usher in the World to Come!

    Restrictions on child labor will ultimately follow from expanded education. In fact I would argue one has to come before the other; making it mandatory for children to attend schools is a crucial step in making it harder/impossible for parents to view their children as a pool of free labor to allocate to round out the family budget. Growing up as a child in France you're taught that universal schooling was one of the most important reforms in the history of the nation and every student is taught the name of the guy who did it and the year on which it passed, and like half the schools in the nation are named after him, and if the Third Republic did it, then it can't possibly have had any downside.

    An auspicious new prayer position has been revealed to us. We should adopt it immediately.
    The velociraptor and the mouse represents the struggles between Light and Darkness, and the conflict that is required to bring about the world to come.
    Claws extended as is the way of the Pugilist fist to fight evil.
    We have been making our prayers while standing still, but we want to the world to move forward, and so shall we move forward with our prayers.
