Huh. So Artemis can identify a dragonstone immediately but doesn't know what a manakete is. That's interesting.

At first glance here I think human history, or at least Artemis's understanding of it, never distinguished between dragons and manakete. There's a few reasons I can think of for that, some worse than others.

[X] Ask that both leave.

Honestly, Artemis's reaction has me concerned here. I suspected this reveal wouldn't be received well but this is a bit beyond my expectation so far.

[X] Ask that both leave.

Personally, I'm okay with them staying, and Artemis's reaction kinda makes sense considering the whole Dragon - Human dynamic.

On the other hand, we might be missing important information. Less people who know we exist, the longer we have to plot against Mr Dragon Lord.

Edit: Why does the chapter say heart form, rather than human form?

[X] Allow both to stay.

Let both stay or neither, I'm fine with either.

Though I do have to ask, now that we know Artemis is so young should we start trying to act like the big sister around her? and probably fail horribly at it.

Ryza will not be happy when she finds out whatever purpose the humans have started using dragonstones for.

Same, I didn't want to reveal it this early. Takes away the mystery and the times where Artemis was confused and misunderstood the stuff to such a degree we laughed OOC. Add to the fact I'd prefer Artemis just thought of us as an artificial mage instead of a dragon, feels like we dropped too much on her in a short amount of time.

huh, overall there were more votes for the more vague option but it was split because of the small add on.

Between me being sensitive on information control and operational security and Artemis already having too much of it, it would be better to keep it secret. At least until we learn to deal with politics and intrigue.

Artemis' reaction is somewhat concerning.

From what we've learned this update (people would be willing to kill over a Whole dragonstone) it does make it harder to trust Axton and Lancel, though I doubt narrative wise that they'll betray us.

Though that would be an interesting development.

I imagine dragonstones are important magically speaking. Maybe people grind them up and ingest them for boosts in magic power, or use them in tome/staff creation or something.

At this point Ryza has had it hammered in that it might not be safe to trust people with certain information, though she lacks the knowledge to know which information it is. We also don't know what their reaction to the contents of the guide is. They could react poorly to its contents, so it's probably best to explain it all to Artemis first then use her reactions to inform our strategy going forward.

[X] Ask that both leave.

I imagine that Ryza would be apologetic about it but there's no reason she can't tell them later (though a later reveal does lack some sincerity).

Now isn't the time for this conversation, but we no longer have a choice. We can at least mitigate its damage.

I'm 99% sure that in the more complete tally I posted second, they were tied (taking into account minor write-ins) and then I rolled a randomizer dice to see which option won.

EDIT: There's something up with the automatic vote count, here's the one I have. "Mother" and "I don't know" are tied. Rolling tie-breaker : 1 is Mother, 2 is I don't know

"I don't know" it is.
