Gods of Chaos: a Riot God Quest

Feel like the Sea-Spirit is angry enough at how the Makers keep messing around with its power.
It gets to choose who uses it, if it doesn't want it then it just needs to not let anyone use it, it's just an artifact not an entire landmass that takes away space from it like last time.

Edit: besides the ocean is described as being protective even possessive of its denizens so giving it something to help connect with them might be appreciated.

Bah, just gotta make an earth and sky set of spirits and problem will be solved!
Agreed, I'd vote for it anyway.

Hmm, maybe I'll suggest a thing.

[X] Carve out caverns in the deep, mostly filled with water. Strange and twisty environments, filled with geothermal smoke and spew and underwater rivers of dense brine flowing from above. While largely aquatic, some caverns are dry, though filled with stale and volcanic air. Some of these deep caves even connect to the caverns beneath the Clouded Lands, with strange transitional environments as dry and airy caves give way to ones filled with seawater, and gases from the tectonic activity deep below trickle their way up.

Yes, I have played Subnautica recently, and found the undersea caves to be an interesting environment.

(Lesser Act)
[x] The Creation of The Fungi (Grand Act): Under the shadows of the great stone arch, creatures form, a whole host of them in a riot of colors. They draw strength from decay and death first and foremost, but also can feed on each other, upon stone, upon sunlight, and more. They are of varying intelligence and form, but all have a few abilities in common, including the capability to warp their forms to better suit the needs of the whole and the ability to produce potent spores.

This is what where looking at so far, I'm going to add more stuff to my vote, some of this stuff looks cool.

guh, need two more votes for Dream Canidae to be viable thanks to the -1 from the DC req on votes. Gets a nice mix of creatures I hope, some sentient, some not.

Please help my Act with 2 more votes to pass the threshold.

On another note, I had a cute idea when it comes to the ocean/sea spirit. First, we create the land and sky spirits and then we teach several races sons of prayer that empower these spirits, thankful ballads and sermons. The algae will be the first to be taught the sea songs while later other races will be taught the songs to the other spirits. How does that sound?

Just need 1 more vote for the Trident to go through, hoping for it to go through so the Ocean can choose it's own 'Champion' like figure.

"And the nucleus appeared, the one who will test the brave, if they overcome it, great rewards await them, if they fail they await to be the servants of the nucleus"

[X] core of tests (demi-act)

Well, the idea is that it is something similar to the merchant of hope but for the brave, so as not to have to micromanage everything and allow possible heroes / heroines to emerge

"The remains of the spent divine energy gathered and took the form of a serpent, this listens to faint echoes of what the creators speak and set itself the objective of fulfilling what it perceives as its will"

[X] all creatures will have a core full of magical energy (minor act)

Well, the creatures are going very unnoticed and that could empower them somewhat, in addition to the fact that I intend it to serve as a source of energy and allow technological advances (magi-tech) much faster.

Well, the idea is to allow the creatures to become empowered and what seems to happen right now does not happen, which is that mortals will only have some very powerful beings as enemies and then jump to the divine.

The idea is that this empowers the creatures so that without us doing anything they become more powerful as more magic / things we create, in addition to narratively providing the intermediate / filler enemies that the heroes must defeat.

On the other hand, its nuclei, in addition to empowering them, will be something significant in technological advance (it seems to me that it will be the basis for the creation of staffs / wands / weapons with magical powers created by mortals), it will allow a (weaker) use to those who they don't train / can't use magic.

and those are all the arguments that come to mind, I just hope that one more person votes for it to be approved

Could someone else vote for my plan to give magic cores to all creatures (that is, all the non-intelligent ones) it only needs one more vote to be approved

And as I said, I think it will be a good way to make mortals create by themselves magic weapons / runes / staves / wands and also help technology advance much faster (it would begin to have very primitive magi-tech) .

I specifically did the Twilight Arc thing as a counterpoint to what happened to the Custodians.

Custodians got disillusioned once the Outerlings started wreaking havoc. Nehu came to them and they were glad that the Makers didn't abandon them- maybe they just work in mysterious ways.

World Sea Spirit is growing more and more uncomfortable with her favored people being displaced, her realm being cleaved in half again and again, and her very fount of power being bestowed upon others without consent...

Twilight Arc is either going to be "take power into your own hands" and she's happy for it or it's going to lead to some very pointed questions for those of us who keep dismissing the possible Narrative boost for a enraged First Generation being.

Ia Ia and all that

Honestly I'm playing the "creator god whos not paying attention" role, in-universe I imagine my little blob of divine power is just fiddling around making stuff and keeping himself out of the wider universes politics. Of course I'm also one of the main reasons the sea spirit is pissed but hey, I didn't make her so I can't be blamed for not paying attention to her.

My current vote is the general exception to doing anything in the wider universe and even thats pretty small scale and meant to help one person.

Boom I got you! Added it onto my support votes c:

only one more vote needed to get the dream foxes/dogs and such up and running, lets gooooo~ I'm thinking of them as a wild beast race, so they start off as wild animals, but they grow more personality/intellect as they get older. So you can have creatures as intellegent or more so then a normal mortal race, if they live long enough.

[X] Create the Nym-Haggis and spread them across the Hotlands (Lesser Act)
-[X] Nym-Haggis are a species of medium mammaloid that are particularly well suited for domestication as livestock.
-[X] Nym-Haggis are roughly 4 feet long on average. They have six legs, each which have claws that are well-suited for climbing and latching onto difficult terrain. Males have a pair of curved horns along the sides of their heads and strong skulls that are excellent for bashing things, while females have a single sharp horn on their nose that are excellent for stabbing things.
-[X] Among the traits that make Nym-Haggis excellent livestock is that every part of their body is useful in some way. Nym-Haggis bones are hard as stone but far lighter; their hides slowly toughen over their course of their lives (to the point where Nym-Haggis that die of 'old age' mostly just can't move very well anymore because of how tough their skin has become) enabling their hides to grow increasingly useful as leather the older they get; Nym-Haggis grow hardy fur depending on their environment which can be shaved for use as base fabric material.
-[X] In addition to the very tasty meat they provide, Nym-Haggis lay their young as eggs - under the right conditions may lay eggs on a regular basis despite said eggs being unfertilized, which can be used as another source of food; Nym-Haggis young feed on milk from their mothers, which can likewise be used as another source of food.
-[X] Nym-Haggis are by nature herbivores. However, like the Myridna, Nym-Haggis have highly durable digestive systems. Nym-Haggis are more than capable of functioning as scavengers if need be, and will accept a diet of nearly anything put in front of them - which sometimes includes things that would normally not be edible.. They are, in their own way, living recyclers, as their own refuse makes for excellent fertilizer. While ill-suited for swimming, they are hardy enough to survive most reasonable land environments.
-[X] Nym-Haggis are predispositioned to mostly passive behavior, caring little beyond the basic necessities of life - eating, drinking, sleeping, and breeding. This makes them easy to domesticate. It is when they are ready to breed that the males are most likely to be most active, and in their natural settings will challenge one another for the right to mate with a chosen female by slamming heads together until one reigns supreme. However, in the presence of danger, they can in fact be motivated to take action, such as protecting themselves against predators or moving to escape dangerous weather or terrain events.

I would like to advocate for more people giving a vote for the creation of the Druyul. The Arken Lands are currently a bit sparse, and a civilization of lizardfolk would nicely round out the rodents, ants, and algae colonies on the First World.

Unfortunately it looks like we already have Lizards as Herd Animals as having more votes, I mean I suppose we could vote for both, but it'd be like having Goofy and Pluto exist in the same Universe, oh wait.

See, I'd like to, but the part that kills it for me was the insistence on giving them wings. We already have the Skrayt as flying lizard people; by comparison the Druyul come off as a "Can I copy your homework OK but don't make it too obvious" meme species.
