There was a Spi...dea. (Sony, Spider-Man Producer Quest)

Not trying to hard sell him, but given he's been active since 2006, has his first film credit in 2010, and how he later acted in Cherry, it wouldn't be too difficult to play around with the character to make it work.

Again, not really trying to sell him, just throwing out some ideas.
eee, it's not for nothing, but daniel Radcliffe is too known for harry potter, when they see him they will see harry potter and also I don't think he's available (we would have to delay the entire production 1 year for him, since in 2011 the last from harry potter)
I figure it's still worth a shot, given that it's exactly why most audiences wouldn't expect anything like this from him and he has since preferred to work against type in other projects (Horns, Swiss Army Man, Guns Akimbo).

The truth is, because of how we did the shoker, he will be an important character (at least in the arc of the sinister six). I prefer not to risk it ... that we are on the bad side of the Harry Potter / Super-hero syndrome

edit: you know that after thinking a bit I think I could give him a chance

Okay, I need a few more ideas for cast, because I just noticed all of the ones for Felicia Hardy are like... 14-15, and that kind of just weirds me out, especially since, depending on who's chosen as Peter, it'd be someone in their 20's getting flirted at by a tween/teen... that kinda, once again weirds me out.

If it's 2010 it is still only the begining of "breaking bad" we can probably take Aaron Paul for the Shocker or his older brother.

"Game of Thornes" didn't even start so we can get ton of talented young actors before they get a big name , I think that Emilia Clarke is a great choice for Gwen or Black Cat.

Im without sleep so if you can think of other casting do it with the future knowledge we have, 2010

options for Felicia:
Gal Gadot - not famous yet, in 2010 she is 25
Lily James - could be Gwen easly too, in 2010 she is 19
Alexandra Anna Daddario - her eyes will pop with silver/white hair and she will make a great Black Cat, but I personally think that her acting is a bit bad. In 2010 she is 24

Zazie Beetz should also be in our movies, probably not this one

07- Casting Call! (2010)
[X] No, are you crazy?

You decided not to try to get the scriptwriters to do a different script, the higher-ups already liked the first one. Getting another one would just waste more time, and you weren't crazy!

And now... it was time to see who was on board for the roles.

Casting Roll: 99.

Well, it seemed that practically everyone in Hollywood was clamoring to get a part in this brand new Spider-Man reboot! Well, at least you were going to get all of the big actors and actresses interested in this!

[] Andrew Garfield: He was a fairly young actor, but seemed incredibly interested, and passionate about playing the titular character.

[] Aaron Taylor-Johnson: The main star of the Kickass movie that had recently come out, he seemed interested in playing Spider-Man in this reboot.

[] Charlie Rowe: He's the youngest of all of the actors auditioning for the role, at only 14-years-old. But, he seems genuinely interested in playing Spider-Man.

[] Alfie Allen: A young English man, who's also gotten a role as Theon Greyjoy in the Game of Thrones show that's to begin filming next month. You may have to delay the filming, when he's doing Game of Thrones.

[] Emma Stone: Your first choice, for who should play Peter's love interest, you genuinely enjoyed her audition.

[] Emma Watson: Hermione Granger herself could be an interesting Gwen Stacy. Though, you'd have to wait for Harry Potter's final movie to stop filming to cast her.

[] Shailene Woodley: She seemed to be genuinely interested in playing Gwen Stacy.

[] Hailee Steinfeld: She's only 14-years-old, but could work well off of Charlie Rowe's Peter Parker.

[] Maya Hawke: Once again, a fairly young actress at around 15-years-old... she could also work well with Charlie Rowe's Peter Parker.

[] Emilia Clarke: A young, but not too young actress, seems like she'd be a good fit for Gwen Stacy.

[] Lily James: She looks like she could play a good Gwen Stacy.

[] Hailee Steinfeld: You feel like she could play a good Felicia Hardy, but there's the problem with her being a lot younger than the rest of the potential cast.

[] Maya Hawke: Once again, you feel like she could do well. It'd just be weird if she was younger than everyone else.

[] Sophie Turner: She looks like she'd play a great Felicia Hardy, but... she has the same problem as the other two.

[] Gal Gadot: She has that feeling that she'd be a great Felicia Hardy, but the accent is a bit too noticeable... though, that may just be you nitpicking.

[] Alexandra Anna Daddario: She's got the look down, and her eyes would pop with white or silver hair... she'd make a great Black Cat physically, but there's the problem with her acting... it's not bad, but it's somewhat... underwhelming.

[] Dacre Montgomery: He looks like he could play a mean Flash Thompson, and seems interested in the role.

[] Chris Zylka: Though, this one... he looks like he could make Flash into less of a stereotypical bully, and into someone who could realistically turn into Peter's friend.

[] Lena Headey: An English actress who expressed interest in playing a younger version of Aunt May.

[] Aubrey Plaza: Once again, an actress who seemed interested in playing a younger Aunt May.

[] Maggie Smith: Yet another Harry Potter alumni, you'd have to wait for the final Harry Potter to stop filming, but then you could have her as Aunt May.

[] Betty White: An absolute sweetheart of an old lady, you could see her playing a great Aunt May.

[] Andrew Garfield: Andrew had decided that if he's not chosen to play Spider-Man, that he may as well hedge his bets as The Shocker.

[] Tom Holland: If you, for some reason decided to go with a younger cast, Tom Holland would be perfect as The Shocker against the younger actors.

[] Daniel Radcliffe: He's definitely going to be busy with filming the last Harry Potter movie, but after that... he's going to be totally free as The Shocker.

[] Macaulay Culkin: Kevin Mccallister himself, he's definitely got an interesting idea for the place to take the newly named Marty Shultz, with him dealing, and taking drugs before his untimely demise.

[] Joshua Jackson: He's shown interest in doing a different interpretation of how he's involved in crime... with him being a mafia enforcer, a low-level one, but one nonetheless.

[] Jared Keeso: A fairly young actor at around... 26 years old, he seems genuinely passionate about being Herman's older brother, acting as a Sports Bookie to pay for Herman's education.

[] Bill Hader: A comedian, who recently starred in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, he seems interested in showing a portrayal of Marty taking advantage of others mental illnesses, to his own gain, along with him having one of his own.

[] Ryan Reynolds: He seems like he'd be able to play a likable, kind, and funny man, to make it come as more of a shock when he's inevitably killed.

[] Aaron Paul: He seems able to become an incredibly intense person, for the role of Marty, and you might just need that intensity.

[] JK Simmons: It's motherfucking JK Simmons, were you really going to pass him up?

[] John C. McGinley: A fairly good actor, you liked him well enough in Scrubs.

[] Tobey McGuire: Doing this could be a fun, and neat little reference to the Raimi Spider-Man movies.

[] Hugh Laurie: House himself, you were definitely thinking of hiring him on as someone else... but J. Jonah Jameson? Really?

[] Mandy Patinkin: Inigo Montoya himself... you feel like he could play someone else, though.

[] Karl Urban: He seems like he'd be able to portray the 'tough guy' part of Eddie Brock exceptionally well.

[] Jensen Ackles: He's pretty busy with Supernatural, and quite loyal to it... but you might be able to get him in the future movies with the promise of playing Venom.

[] Christian Kane: He's mostly a TV star, but seems interested in getting into the movie scene.

And finally, you were done with casting... God, that felt like it took forever.
____

And now, it's time to do the casting votes for the characters, you guys!

I have some, and still find it highly amusing, and also the audience will come in droves!

My reasoning for this is simple: Let's finally do a movie set in high school where the high schoolers are actual high schoolers and not twenty-year-olds.

EDIT: Looked over the cast, thought about how they could play off one another and came to the following conclusions:
- Garfield was a wonderful Peter Parker, closer to his roots of being an asshole than most other portrayals I've seen of him, and just nails his jokes as Spidey.
- Clarke has the acting chops to pull of a more serious Gwen Stacy, and has shown the inclination to be more physical in her acting if that one Terminator movie that doesn't exist is anything to go by.
- Gadot can play a playfully mean Felicia if Red Notice is anything to go by, and her stint as Wonder Woman shows she can certainly act with more physicality; her accent isn't necessarily a weak point either, can play into and feed into the narrative that she's a native New Yorker with stronger ties to her immigrant community in Brooklyn.
- Montgomery, while convincing as the asshole bully, can definitely pull off a more sympathetic one capable of eventual change; hell, I think he could even pull a version of this scene off.
- Headey is someone who can play that stern authority figure and loving mother figure very well, and has a spine of steel that was apparent in Ditko's run of Spider-Man comics.
- Radcliffe has showcased the ability to act both as someone to be overlooked and somebody that demands your attention that, given his OTL route, can simultaneously act sympathetic and villainous; really shock the audience with this one.
- Jackson not only shares a passing resemblance to Radcliffe, but he's an exceptional actor in his own right and can definitely not only play the part of rage-fueled made man but a loving and frustrated family man.
- JK Simmons is JK Simmons, there's not much more to be said here.
- Urban is an actor with a wide range of talents, who can play Eddie as both someone with integrity and a man struggling with depression and rage, who can definitely take Venom in a more violent Antihero direction.

Hey, actually managed to get to one to be able to make a plan...Now if only I knew who most of these actors were. Might as well throw my plan hat into the ring...

I was conflicted as on one hand it would make sense to go with a younger Aunt May, but at the same time Betty White...Augh...Alright I'll just say it now but if there's a desire I'm open to switching out Betty White to one of the two wanting to portray Aunt May as a younger character.

Edit: Also open to changing the Eddie Brock actor as well, just decided to go with everyone else for that one.

I like all these plans! What should I do? ...Fine, I guess I'll pick something.

[X] Plan Child Labor is Best

You know what? Let's take a risk. All these actors are inexperienced, but I am tempted with this. It could backfire horribly, but it's my choice to make.

If we go with the Child Labor is Best plan, I hope our film's success (assuming the dice rolls in our favor on that front) means that Macaulay Culkin gets another shot at an acting career. That guy is a genuinely good actor and he did not deserve to have his career go the way it did.

[X] Plan Child Labor is Best

Well, the truth is that my knowledge of actors and actresses is practically nil, so I will be guided by what I find the most fun and what sounds the most fun to me is that all the actors and actresses are more or less according to their age.
Although if I see a plan that I like more, I can change

also it will be much more credible that they have grown with the passage of the movies (they will not remain the same in the 14 than in the 20) ... hahaha
