Jurassic Park: Prototype King

Watching the Nubby one run, made amusement race under your scales even as you swiftly re positioned yourself in front of it. Just in time for it to notice, pause and then squeak in fear again before running once more.

Really it only got more amusing after the 3rd time, but you figured looking at the Nubby ones haggard form as it did it's best to get away. It was probably time to stop, saddening as that thought was, but really it was starting to loose it's glamor as the Nubby one got slower and less energetic.

Trilling sadly now that your means of entertainment was no longer available, only to let out a tired hiss. It was only than that you realized that the ball of heat's light was no longer shining through the window, and it was time to retreat to nest with your sister.

So you made the by now familiar path to the Fluffy cliffs and began to climb, only to pause as something caught your eye. It was the Plush Block that the Nubby one had been charging, but now it was laying on it's side and something was sticking out of a break towards the top of the object. You did recall the Nubby one knocking into it at some point during your chase.

Perhaps that was how it tipped over? You were certain the Nubby one putting far more effort into it's movement than before, maybe that had allowed it to finally conquer it enemy.

Either way your curiosity as to the circumstances vanished fast, as you locked onto the thing sticking out of break. Sniffing it revealed precisely nothing, but biting it revealed it to feel similar to the fluffy cliffs. Your curiosity mandated further study, so you tried to pull at it. A small yank of the neck, surfaced a bit more and continued to give more, until it stopped yielding to your strength.

Some part of you wished to simply yank harder, but another part wanted to examine it in full. So you let it fall from your jaws as you began to study the Plush bock instead. The strange break near the top in particular. It went all the way around the block from what you could find. Focusing on the place were the strange material was coming from, you found you could stick you claws inside.

So as you shoved your clawed limb inside you were surprised to feel as the top of the plush cube began to move. You stilled temporarily just to make sure it wasn't going to attack. Once it became clear that only you moving your claws did anything, you began to investigate this discovery further as you pushed the top open further.

Further study revealed that it only opened so far before pushing with your strength only caused the Plush Block to start to move as well. This realization also revealed the heart of the Plush Block. Its innards were the strange materials source, perhaps some form of organ? Either way it was stuck in place by some odd chemical smelling thing with images imprinted onto it.

Perhaps it functioned as a bone? Even if had, time had clearly worn away at it as your claws easily severed the aged bone. (It's cardboard by the way) Now you were free to study the Plush Blocks innards as you place it's edge into your mouth and began to draw it's full length from within the Plush Blocks corpse.

As you had observed before its smell reveals nothing, it's color is red like the Pink meats blood, it is far larger than you, and it does not taste good. Unsatisfied you began to walk on it only to stop, as you realized it felt quite good against your scales.

You quickly bite into it's edge and begin to make your way back up the Fluffy Cliffs. This was good nest material!

While the path was far harder pulling the nest fluff up, it kept getting stuck on things on the way up, it was worth it as you found yourself next to you peacefully slumbering sister.

Now came the question, how were you going to get it underneath her? After all it was nest fluff, and you needed to lay on nest fluff. Or maybe just laying onto would work? You observe the situation for a short time, before huffing. You were to tired for this, so you just nudged you way closer to your sister before yanking it over the both of you.

It quickly built up a soothing warmth, as you drifted to sleep. Somehow your sisters happy sleep trill made your scales tremble oddly as you drifted off to sleep.

It was pleasant.
